In an instant, he remembered everything he had gone through earlier.

"Are you a god?"

"Are you the god who heard my prayer?"

Belial hurriedly flipped over, kneeling before Lis.

"Please… Please save my father."

"I'm willing to pay any price!"

Belial's eyes were blurry, tears uncontrollably flowing down.

He couldn't imagine a tomorrow without his father.

His father had always been his greatest support; even in such danger, his father came to save him disregarding his own safety.

Seeing his father killed by the Black Armored Knight, Belial felt as though his world had collapsed.

Yet, didn't this person in front of him, able to hear his prayer and defeat that Black Armored Knight so effortlessly, seem like a god?

Had I prayed to the enemy of the God of Hunting?

To spread faith, the divine scripture of the God of Hunting was naturally disseminated by the Hunting Temple in the small world.

The originally dark complexion of the corpse, as if infused with fresh blood, gradually became rosy, akin to a wilted flower blooming with life again.

Belial held his breath, his gaze fixed tight on this incredible scene, eyes filled with shock and anticipation.

As time passed, the corpse began to tremble slightly, fingers gently curving, telling a tale of longing for life.

Finally, a faint but clear breath sounded, life truly returned to this once cold body.

Aio slowly opened his eyes, sitting up from the ground.

He looked at the still-fading soft white glow on his body, feeling unprecedented comfort within, as if returned to his eighteen-year-old self.

He noticed Lis before him, and Belial rushing toward him.

"Dad!"

Belial threw himself into his arms, sobbing as he spoke.

"There, there."

Lis smiled slightly, clapping his hands and saying to the two:

"You were the one who prayed to me, so after this, I shall borrow your son for a while."
