Land of Lightning.

Nii Yugito was swiftly weaving through the scattered rocks.

Since receiving news that the Akatsuki had abducted the Fifth Kazekage, as the Jinchuriki of the Two-Tails in the Hidden Cloud Village, she had been secretly on guard against that mysterious organization.

However, there were many differing opinions within the village about this incident. Most people thought that the Hidden Sand Village had become too weak, which is why they were taken advantage of. They believed that the Akatsuki wouldn't dare to provoke the powerful Hidden Cloud Village.

Yet, Yugito herself felt uneasy. She always believed that the Akatsuki's target wouldn't be just the Kazekage, the Jinchuriki of the One-Tail. As a fellow Jinchuriki, she thought it was highly likely that she could be their next target. As expected, today, two members of the Akatsuki intercepted her on her way back to the village after completing a mission.

Among the two, the Konoha rogue ninja wasn't much of a threat, but the other man, wearing a one-eyed mask, was a master of space-time ninjutsu and was incredibly troublesome.

Her teammates had been killed by his elusive space-time ninjutsu. Now, in this desolate area far from the village, it seemed she couldn't count on any reinforcements.

There was no choice but to fight!

Yugito's gaze grew determined.

"Where are you going, Miss Two-Tails?"

A flippant voice suddenly rang out. Yugito swiftly dodged, avoiding the iron chain that suddenly attacked her, and stared intently at the masked man who had appeared.

Afterward, the figure of the Konoha rogue ninja also appeared on the other side.

"You are from the Akatsuki, aren't you?" Yugito watched the two warily. "Ever since I heard the news from the Hidden Sand, I knew you would come for me."

"Oh really." The masked man, "Tobi," swung the iron chain in his hand. "You're quite brave, Miss Two-Tails. Knowing the fate of the One-Tail, you didn't cower in your village. What do you think, Terai?"

Terai's indifferent face remained expressionless, maintaining his silence.

"Tobi" glanced at him and complained, "Tch, you're no fun, Terai."

He turned his cold gaze back to Yugito. "Let me play with you for a bit, little kitty!"

"Bastard!!"

Yugito's breath quickened. She barely suppressed her boiling emotions and said coldly, "Attacking a Cloud ninja without reason and killing my comrades—I'll make you pay dearly for this!"

"So scary, so scary, truly terrifying!" The masked man exaggeratedly patted his chest. "You're quite the wild little kitty."

"Die!"

Yugito quickly formed hand seals.

"Mouse Hairball!"

Countless blue fireballs spewed from her mouth, completely covering the area where "Tobi" and Terai stood.

"So hot, so hot, so hot!"

"Tobi" danced around exaggeratedly. The fireballs passed through his body without causing any harm.

"Water Style: Water Formation Wall!"

Terai's response was much more conventional.

"Water Style: Water Dragon Bullet Technique!"

After blocking the fireballs, he continued to form hand seals, summoning a massive water dragon that roared and charged at Yugito.

Yugito, however, stood her ground, with chakra surging violently from her body. The long braid behind her head unraveled, and her hair scattered.

Dark blue chakra, mixed with black flame patterns, erupted from her body, quickly covering her entire form.

"Roar!!!"

A deafening roar rang out as the massive Two-Tails cat demon appeared, standing firm against the water dragon's impact.

"Is this full Tailed Beast Transformation?"

Terai finally spoke, frowning as he looked at the enormous Two-Tails.

"Yo, little kitty!"

"Tobi" waved enthusiastically.

"Roar!!!"

The Two-Tails roared again, opening its mouth to spew a massive, scorching fireball at "Tobi."

"So hot, so hot, so hot!"

"Tobi" twisted his body exaggeratedly, ducking behind a large rock.

Boom!

The fireball collided with the rock, resulting in a violent explosion. Wind howled, and debris flew everywhere.

Terai dodged the flying debris and quickly formed hand seals.

"Earth Style: Earthfall Clay!"

A huge hole appeared above the Two-Tails' head, and heavy clay fell from the sky, covering its body.

"Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!"

"Tobi" suddenly appeared beside Terai, assisting him with a Fire Style technique.

The scorching flames solidified the clay around the Two-Tails.

"Gotcha!"

"Tobi" clapped his hands excitedly.

Cracking sounds were heard, followed by an angry roar. The Two-Tails broke through the solidified clay with brute force, extending its giant paw toward the two men.

"Tobi" remained motionless as the cat's paw passed swiftly through his body.

Terai, however, hurriedly leaped away but was blown aside by the wind from the cat's paw, crashing hard into a boulder with a dull thud.

"Hey! Are you okay, Terai?"

"Tobi" appeared beside Terai, grabbed his collar, and leaped high, skillfully jumping on the rocks to avoid the cat's paw.

"Useless, Terai. Let the senior take care of this!"

"Tobi" threw Terai far away and then phased his body, letting the Two-Tails' fireball pass through him again.

"Looks like you can't do anything to me, little kitty."

His voice suddenly became deep, and a menacing red light shone from the hole in his mask.

Inside Yugito's sealed space, the Two-Tails suddenly shouted in alarm.

"No! It's the Mangekyo Sharingan, run away, Yugito!"

"What?" Yugito looked at the Two-Tails in confusion.

"It's too late to run now."

"Tobi's" voice suddenly echoed in the sealed space, and his figure appeared.

"You…" Yugito looked at "Tobi" nervously, "Are you Uchiha Itachi?"

"Who knows."

"Tobi" leisurely walked closer to the seal. At this moment, neither the Two-Tails nor Yugito could move.

"What do you want to do?!"

Yugito glared hatefully at the man in front of her.

"Of course, it's to capture the Jinchuriki and offer you to the Akatsuki's leader."

"Tobi" placed his right hand on the seal. "And maybe take a little bonus."

The Two-Tails let out a painful screech as it felt its chakra being drained continuously.

"Hehe, finally tamed, little kitty."

After a long time, "Tobi" looked at the weakened Two-Tails, withdrew his right hand, and turned to look at Yugito.

"Now, let's take you back."

Terai struggled to stand up from the ground and leaped onto a rock, looking into the distance.

In the distance, "Tobi" placed his right hand on Yugito's forehead. The chakra cloak surrounding her shrank and eventually retracted completely into her body.

As he withdrew his hand, Yugito collapsed to the ground.

"All done!"

"Tobi" cheerfully gave a thumbs-up and waved vigorously at Terai.

"Terai! Come over and help me carry her! The leader must be getting impatient!"

Terai silently jumped to Tobi's side, bent down, and lifted the unconscious Yugito, slinging her over his shoulder.

"Let's go!"

"Tobi" led the way to a prepared hiding place, with Terai carrying Yugito and following in his footsteps.
