I am the Son of Homelander

Chapter 3: Hunting A Predator

X-Men World, 1962, New York

In front of a dark alley, a rough, deep voice echoed.

"Girls, stay close. Be careful; there might be hooligans running out of the alley to scare you."

Standing at the edge of the dimly lit alley was a man with two sharp, beast-like fangs. His rugged demeanor complemented the two women in revealing attire clinging to him. He sipped wine casually, his teasing words drawing flirtatious laughter from the women.

As the group moved on, a figure stepped out of the shadows. Ron's face was impassive as he glanced down at his feet.

Under the flickering light of a streetlamp, a green metal trash can sat beside a soaked newspaper partially submerged in murky water. The black-and-white photo on the paper showed a president known for his sunny smile delivering a somber speech.

The date on the newspaper read: **1962.**

"1962… Sabretooth Victor," Ron murmured, his eyes narrowing.

Ahead, the towering figure of Sabretooth, with his unkempt beard, menacing fangs, and feral aura, laughed boisterously. His behavior was as primal as his appearance.

Victor Creed, better known as Sabretooth, had just returned from a mission with his brother Logan and their X-Team, led by Stryker. During a rare break, he and the others had gotten drunk and found company for the night. They were now making their way back to a nearby hotel with the women they'd picked up.

The city was bustling, its 1960s charm apparent in the neon signs and occasional high-rise buildings glowing under the night sky. The streets buzzed with life, filled with music, chatter, and the clinking of glasses from nearby bars.

Sabretooth swaggered down the street, his arms draped around the women as he told crude jokes, his laughter echoing as he approached a hotel illuminated by a flashing neon sign. People came and went through its doors, adding to the lively scene.

Watching from a distance, Ron's lips curled into a faint smile.

"Not inferior to Wolverine's self-healing ability and long lifespan. Theoretically, his raw strength and speed should be slightly better than Wolverine's, at least without the adamantium."

Ron's eyes glinted as he focused on the feral mutant entering the hotel.

"Let's start with you."

His gaze shifted momentarily to the bustling city around him. A major event was brewing in the X-Men universe, one that would shape its history. To play a role in that event, Ron needed an entry ticket: the identity of a mutant.

Though he wasn't one yet, it wouldn't be an issue for long.

---

Knock!

"Who is it?"

Inside the hotel room, the faint sound of rustling fabric mixed with a low, breathy gasp.

"Sir, pardon me. Are you interested in learning about our merciful Heavenly Father?" A deep, magnetic voice spoke from outside the door, tinged with a polite gentleness.

"Get lost!"

The reply came in an angry roar, interrupting the voice outside.

Knock, knock.

"Sir…"

The knocking persisted, the tone of the voice outside unwavering in its politeness yet laced with an annoying persistence.

"I swear, when I pin you to the ground and beat you to a pulp, I hope you still cling to that faith in your so-called Heavenly Father…"

The door to the room was suddenly flung open.

The cruel and half-drunk Sabretooth lunged forward, grabbing the man outside with a swift motion and slamming him against the wall. His face twisted with feral rage, resembling a wild beast. Raising a fist the size of a sandbag, he prepared to teach the intruder a brutal lesson for interrupting him at such a critical moment.

Tsk!

Ron smirked. Without hesitation, he raised an ornate pocket-sized medicine bottle and sprayed a fine cloud of white mist directly into Sabretooth's face.

"What the hell is that? Damn…"

Sabretooth inhaled sharply, staggering backward.

Within moments, dizziness clouded his vision, and his movements grew sluggish.

"No matter who you are, when I open my eyes again, I'll send you straight to your father in Heaven, you have my word!"

Even as he reeled from the drug, Sabretooth's confidence and defiance didn't falter. His body's advanced healing factor granted him extraordinary resistance to toxins, a fact that filled him with pride. What could incapacitate an ordinary man for an entire day would only render him unconscious for about ten minutes.

"Heh…"

Ron, his mouth and nose shielded with a towel, sneered at the threat.

Sabretooth's world spun faster, the edges of his vision darkening, and the sounds around him growing faint.

**Thud!**

The towering figure collapsed onto the floor, unconscious.

"Ah!"

Inside the room, the two disheveled women screamed in terror, mistaking Ron for a gangster.

"Shh, the Security Bureau is handling business here…" Ron whispered with a smile, pressing a finger to his lips.

---

A few minutes later.

Ron strolled through the hotel corridor, carrying the nearly 200-pound Sabretooth effortlessly over his shoulder.

The passersby wrinkled their noses at the overpowering stench of alcohol coming from Sabretooth, steering clear without a second glance. No one suspected anything suspicious, assuming Ron was simply helping his intoxicated friend.

A few women approached, clearly intrigued by Ron's good looks and impressive strength. The sight of him hauling such a massive man with ease sparked fantasies they couldn't resist entertaining.

"Sorry, ma'am. I need to help my dear friend sober up. Perhaps another time," Ron said politely, his charming smile disarming their advances.

In moments like this, appearances mattered. A better face and physique could accomplish a great deal, even in situations like these. If Ron had flashed his wallet with a false badge, no one would have doubted he worked for the Security Bureau, pursuing a dangerous spy plotting sabotage.

Sabretooth, with his rough, menacing demeanor, didn't exactly inspire trust. Yet no one questioned Ron's story.

---

Swish!

Ron exited the hotel, stepping into the shadows of a quiet street. With Sabretooth slung over his shoulder, he glanced at his right hand.

Sharp claws, resembling tiger talons, extended from his fingertips. He frowned slightly, a hint of distaste crossing his face.

"Ugly, but useful enough for now," he muttered.

Placing his free hand on Sabretooth's unconscious body, Ron spent 3,000 ability points. In an instant, he absorbed all of Sabretooth's abilities: rapid regeneration, extraordinary speed and strength, enhanced senses, and retractable claws capable of tearing through flesh and bone.

As he stepped deeper into the shadows, his faint smile grew sharper. The hunt had only just begun.

Ron carried Sabretooth on his back as he walked down the street, exuding raw power and boundless energy with every step.

After some time, he arrived at an abandoned construction site. Stopping briefly, he surveyed his surroundings, considering his options.

"I was hoping for a factory," Ron muttered, "but this will do just fine."

Sabretooth's abilities were already absorbed into the system, but Ron wasn't done with him yet. There was still more value to be extracted.

**Bang!**

Without ceremony, Ron tossed Sabretooth's unconscious body onto the ground like a bag of trash. The impact sent a stone skittering across the debris, striking Sabretooth's back. The sharp pain jolted him awake, his eyes blinking groggily as he tried to process his surroundings.

"Oh?" Ron squatted down, a faint smile tugging at his lips. "You're awake."

Leaning closer, Ron's smile turned sharp. "Congratulations. You don't have to leave this world in a coma. Instead, I'll make sure you witness your death firsthand."

Sabretooth grinned through his grogginess, his feral nature kicking in. "Remember what I told you, kid?" he growled.

Summoning all his strength, he attempted to lash out, his claws ready to rip through Ron. But his body betrayed him. His limbs felt like lead, and he couldn't even lift his hand.

"Don't bother struggling," Ron said coldly, tapping Sabretooth's cheek dismissively. "That spray was specially designed to incapacitate superhumans like you. The minimum standard is to take down someone who can punch through walls and shrug off rifle bullets.

"An Asian elephant weighing several tons would be out cold for a day after one dose. So, let's just say you're not in any shape to fight."

Sabretooth's grin didn't waver, even as his attempts to move failed. "Think that'll stop me?" he snarled. "Kid, let me tell you something. You've got no idea who you're dealing with."

He let out a cold laugh, his voice filled with malice. "Back in Vietnam, I disobeyed orders, killed a few civilians, raped some women. The idiots on my side decided to execute me. Shot me for an hour straight—bullets, shells, the works.

"By the end, they'd made a mountain of shell casings, and I was still standing. They were so scared they pissed themselves. You think a punk like you can kill me? You're nothing!"

His grin turned cruel. "When this anesthetic wears off, I'll show you what real hell looks like."

"Really?" Ron raised an eyebrow.

At that moment, two blinding headlights illuminated the construction site, piercing through the darkness. Sabretooth squinted against the harsh light, confusion flickering in his eyes.

**Buzz.**

The growl of a heavy engine filled the air, and a massive road roller rumbled into view. Its enormous steel drum crushed the gravel beneath it with a devilish roar.

Ron stood at the controls, his expression cold and detached.

"I wonder," he said, his voice calm yet chilling, "if you can survive the test of a civilian road roller?"

"Huh?!"

Sabretooth's defiance faltered as the monstrous machine advanced toward him, its relentless drum glinting ominously in the light.

___________

ALRIGHT PEOPLE .

THIS IS IMPORTANT!!!

I USUALLY GET BORED WHILE WRITING SAME NOVEL EVERYDAY OR EVERY 2 DAYS, SO I USUALLY WRITE DIFFERENT ONES.

I HAVE AN IDEA RECENTLY.

ABOUT ANOTHER FANFIC.

ONE ABOUT SQUID GAMES.

Here's some plot thing I thought of:

MC would be son of a cop, and he is living his day normally. he has no idea which world he got reincarnated in. but one night when he was traveling from subway, he sees 2 people playing dakchi. or whatever the game is. let me be clear this ain't the main lead of Squid game, this guy is different one. Then the guy of the squid game, coat guy, goes inside the subway, while the player has the card in his hand.

MC threatens and takes away that card, and wants to play in squid games

he calls the number and says I am interested in playing. and if they ask who is this, he would say his own name truthfully. and if they know they haven't given card to said name person, he would say, I have killed the guy or something. squid game hosts find it interesting and do some background check and after they know his father is a cop takes him in. because many criminals are also in the games, and MC's father is a well known person. MC is fking handsome so he would have relationship with some female characters, not that aunty tho. the one with that Thanos like guy.

MC would have some friend or he has hacker ability so he escapes their background check on the guy, who the MC said he has "killed".

He would fake his death temporarily. Till he completes the game. MC being a reincarnator knows the games in the squid games. Since he has watched two seasons of the tv show.

What do u guys think about this?

I thought of harem? Since that'd be good, and reason why MC wants to play though it is dangerous? Because he has a system that can help him by selling him items that might help him, in terms of physique improvement and all. Obviously not unbelievable type, like he won't be able to be a Thor or hulk. But captain America, maybe? Who knows?

It depends on your opinion too. He could have a physique of a superhero like normal superhero. If there exists one.

That's all about the FanFic.
