I Am Hades, Lord of the Underworld!

Chapter 243: Chapter 243: The Arrival of the Underworld King's Armor, Suppression of the Star Realm, and the Infinite Star Gods

All the Star Gods seemed to go mad. What the hell were they doing? Had the Underworld gone insane? How could they dare to covet the Cosmic Heart?

What was that thing? It wasn't something that could be casually desired!

The Star Gods swarmed out in droves. How many Star Gods were there? No one knew! The number of Star Gods was simply too vast, and in reality, the star realm resembled a vast multiverse. No one knew how many universes or stars were contained within the star realm. Each star birthed a Star God.

Although there were no God-Kings among them, the number of Titan-level Chief Gods and Main Gods was countless. Even the number of Titan-level Chief Gods was extremely high, at least in the thousands, perhaps even more.

However, the Star Gods did not participate in any changes in the Mythical World. Nor could any God-King command the Star Gods, for they were the most important guardians of the Mythical World's boundaries. The star realm and the Black Sea were both of utmost importance.

The star realm was composed of countless Star Gods, and the Black Sea was guarded by Pontos, one of the Ancient Gods. It could be said that the star realm was crucial, and now, the Underworld wanted to take the Cosmic Heart? No wonder all the Star Gods were going crazy.

But just as the Star Gods started to act, an infinite divine power instantly covered the entire star realm, causing all the Star Gods to fall silent. The star realm became eerily quiet.

A dark purple Underworld God's Armor appeared. This was the Underworld Armor of Hades, the trinity of Hades. With its appearance, the boundless divine power suppressed the entire star realm, rendering the countless Star Gods completely immobile.

The Helmet of Invisibility, the Sword of the Underworld, and the Underworld Armor—the trinity of Underworld Armor. To be honest, if Hades didn't personally wield it, and the Underworld Armor acted on its own, it might even be more powerful than Hades.

Hades couldn't fully control the Sword of the Underworld, but the Underworld Armor directly linked to the entire Underworld and the World Tree, coupled with Hades' limitless divine power supply. To put it simply, if Hades could strike one blow, the Underworld Armor could strike two. Although each strike was weaker than Hades' own, the fact that there were two strikes made all the difference.

This is a fundamental principle often referred to as "quantitative change leads to qualitative change."

"Stop!"

"Hestia, stop!"

"Lord Hades!"

"Stop, I beg you!"

"Ah!"

Although the Star Gods were immobilized, they howled in agony and roared in madness. If the Cosmic Heart was taken, the entire star realm would collapse. If that happened, everything would fall apart.

But no one responded to them. Hestia watched as the crack was gradually and completely opened, revealing the Cosmic Heart. She could already feel the power of eight Ancient Gods gradually sweeping over. Even though Erebus and Nyx were reluctant, they were compelled by the Mythical World's pressure to intervene.

However, Hestia was faster. In an instant, she swapped the God-Created World Heart with the Cosmic Heart, then directly absorbed the Cosmic Heart into her body. If Hestia didn't voluntarily take it out, one would have to kill her to retrieve it.

With the God-Created World Heart in place, the star realm quickly returned to tranquility.

In a short moment, the previous turmoil vanished without a trace, as if it had never happened.

In simpler terms, the system of the Mythical World momentarily hesitated. The program, somewhat bewildered, didn't feel anything amiss as it noticed the Cosmic Heart being taken. Seeing the weakened Cosmic Heart, it instinctively began to nurture it, restoring it to its former state. This wouldn't take much time or world energy.

In essence, the Cosmic Heart's primary function was to stabilize the star realm, not to consume much world energy. Otherwise, Cronus would have devised a replacement method long ago. However, the current situation was somewhat absurd.

The gods who were watching were dumbfounded. Was this some kind of glitch? Had they just exploited a bug? Yet, the presence of the Ancient Gods had vanished, and the Star Gods glanced at each other in silence. They could sense that the God-Created World Heart had begun to gradually nurture itself into a new Cosmic Heart.

But the issue was...

The Star Gods looked at Hestia in utter silence, unsure of what to say. It seemed that nothing more could be done. Although Hestia had taken the Cosmic Heart, she had left a substitute. While this substitute was a fake, after being nurtured by the Mythical World, it would take only three to five million years to become real. The Star Gods could continue guarding it, and in millions of years, it would be fully restored.

They were dissatisfied and wanted Hestia to hand it over, but looking at the Underworld God's Armor floating behind her and the 108 Demon Stars, they wisely kept their mouths shut. It wasn't worth the trouble to get themselves killed.

For Lord Hades, as long as the stars themselves weren't destroyed, killing a Star God wasn't an issue. A new Star God would simply be born in the future, but it wouldn't be the same Star God.

"Hehehe~~"

Hestia, with a cheerful smile, turned around and left confidently. The Underworld God's Armor floated behind her, and the 108 Demon Stars cleared the way. Not a single Star God dared to stand in her path; they all stepped aside obediently.

Don't doubt it! If anyone dared to block her, the Underworld God's Armor would definitely strike them down with a sword.

The gods watching this spectacle were also bewildered. Had this entire star realm disturbance, which had even drawn the eight Ancient Gods into action, ended just like that?

Wasn't this a bit too anticlimactic?

"By the way!"

"Isn't the God of Space a subordinate of Lord Hades?"

"Seems like it…"

"Cosmic Heart + God of Space?"

"That's unlikely, right? To do that, one would need to become the Master of the Star Realm, which would require becoming a God-King. But the star realm doesn't allow for a master."

"Then…"

The Star Gods exchanged confused glances. They were baffled—what was going on?

Cosmic Heart + God of Space = God-King!

That much was certain, but to achieve that, one needed to become the master of the star realm. However, the Mythical World wouldn't allow that. So, what was the point of taking the Cosmic Heart? It seemed sophisticated, but in essence, it didn't have much significance.
