"Alexander, this is for you."

In a quiet room, Alexander had just woken up when Erica approached him, holding a peculiar stone in her hands.

While he slept, Erica had flown back to Milan overnight to consult with everyone, and now she had returned with the stone.

As Alexander studied the stone in Erica's hand, he noticed Athena's reaction. She couldn't take her eyes off it, completely mesmerized.

"Is it real?" Alexander asked.

"Yes," Athena confirmed with a fervent nod.

Seeing Athena's intense reaction, Alexander silently nodded as well and reached out to take the stone. Just then, Erica spoke up.

"King, while we are willing to give you this stone, we ask that you agree to two conditions."

"Conditions? Erica, do you think we're making a trade?" Alexander sighed, rubbing her head. He wasn't fond of the business-like approach. Weren't they knights? Why were they acting like this?

Hearing Alexander's words, Erica quickly shook her head. "King, we're not trading with you. This is simply our request. Whether you agree or not, the Gorgoneion is yours. We just hope that its light will bring some hope to your people."

Hmm, that's quite a nice way to put it.

Alexander had to admit, even if it was flattery, it was pleasant to hear.

Without further comment, he took the Gorgoneion and handed it to Athena before saying, "Tell me your requests. If they're not too unreasonable, I'll consider them."

"Thank you, kind and generous King," Erica said, suddenly excited. She was clever and knew how to handle different personalities. Alexander was not Kusanagi Godou, so she needed to approach him differently.

"King," Erica began respectfully.

"Hold on," Alexander interrupted, "Though I am Campione, I'm still not used to being addressed so formally by others. Just call me by my name."

"Alright, Alexander," Erica corrected herself. "Our first request is that you restrain the goddess Athena to prevent her from affecting people's lives."

"That's it?"

Alexander was surprised.

Of course, it was possible.

Athena was going to return to his own world soon anyway, so how could she impact their lives here? "I give you my word—if Athena does anything to harm humanity's progress in your world, I'll... get pimples."

Erica was speechless.

Seeing Alexander's playful expression, Erica could only sigh. Well, you are the king, you're powerful, and I can't argue with you.

"And the second request," Erica continued, "I've been tasked with taking care of you and Athena in your daily lives. I hope you'll accept me as your knight."

Alexander's response left Erica stunned. She looked at him with a mix of shock and resentment. "Alexander... are you really a normal man? You're turning me down? Could it be... are you really a lolicon?"

Erica glanced at Athena beside her, baffled. How could she be rejected? It had to be Alexander's unique preference.

"Alexander, even though the laws of this land may not apply to you, and the criminal code doesn't hold any power over you, how could you do this..."

"Erica, I understand your concerns. You're worried that Athena might do something harmful, so you want to keep an eye on her. But it's unnecessary. To be honest, Athena will be leaving this world soon and may never return. Having you follow me would be pointless."

Alexander knew Erica hadn't fallen for him at first sight. Perhaps his heroic rescues had won her over somewhat, but it wasn't enough for her to truly fall in love.

But now, after hearing Alexander's explanation, Erica finally understood. She noticed how Athena was focused on fusing with the Gorgoneion.
