As Pandora grew angry, Alexander was suddenly thrown out of that magical world. Once he was back in reality, he couldn't help but feel exasperated.

'What was that about? She claims to be a mother, yet she's so petty, unwilling to take on any real responsibility.'

Alexander had deliberately teased Pandora; after all, he wasn't going to recognize someone as his mother so easily.

But then, a voice sounded beside him.

"Alexander, are you awake?"

"Yeah, I'm awake," Alexander replied, nodding. But as he nodded, he suddenly realized something strange—there was someone next to him?

When Alexander saw who it was, his expression turned helpless.

"Erica, why are you in my bed... and why are you dressed like that?"

Faced with the beautiful scene before him, Alexander sighed. He wasn't one to overreact, but as a normal man, he couldn't help but feel a certain reaction.

As for Erica…

"You're so heartless, Alexander. After you fell asleep yesterday, you were lying in my arms like a child, even talking in your sleep about food... And now you don't even recognize me?"

Erica didn't mind at all. In the West, people were more open about emotional matters. As an Italian knight, though she had never had a boyfriend, she was ready to give her all once she found someone she liked. It wasn't unusual for someone from her culture.

Naturally, Alexander, the hero who had saved her twice, rescued Sardinia, and defeated the gods, had won Erica's heart. Whether or not Alexander liked her back didn't worry her—she believed in her own charm.

Sure enough, Alexander smiled slightly. How could he turn down such a beautiful woman? Just as he was about to make a move, a small head suddenly poked between him and Erica.

"Alexander, Melqart wants to fight you."

It was Athena, and seeing her appear out of nowhere, Alexander sighed.

"Athena, what are you doing here?"

"Huh?" Athena tilted her head, looking at the two of them, and then her expression cleared. "Did my presence interrupt you? Don't worry, I can pretend I saw nothing. Go ahead, act as if I'm not here."

"How could we just pretend you're not here! Never mind, let's get up. So, Melqart wants a fight? I guess it's time for me to get used to my new abilities."

Alexander got up from the bed, dressed, and began to stretch, feeling the power he had gained.

The power of the [Authority] was primarily divided into ten abilities:

-Gale: If someone calls out Alexander's name, he can instantly teleport to their location, bringing others along if he wishes—a very practical ability.

- Youth: He can temporarily lend his power to those he cares about, though this requires a mouth-to-mouth transfer.

- White Stallion: Summons the flames of the sun.

- Ram: He can recover quickly as long as he doesn't die.

- Rapto: Allows him to move at god-speed, possibly due to raptors being seen as the swiftest animals on the planet.

- Bull: Granted immense strength, rivaling that of Hercules. When activated, he transforms into a golden bull with immense strength.

- Camel: It improves the user's close-combat ability; grants him incredible leg strength, detains the sensation of pain, and grants extraordinary endurance, likely due to camels being animals with great durability.

- Goat: Controls the power of lightning.

- Boar: Harnesses the force of destruction.

- Warrior: Also a representation of his aspect as a war god that subjugated foreign deities. Summons a golden sword which negates divinity, and the power of any Authorities they may possess. However, it requires knowledge of the target god to use.

Alexander quickly mastered these abilities. The power of the goat, combined with an electromagnetic cannon and the breath of thunder, made lightning one of his strongest attacks. While he didn't know the full extent of his strength, Alexander felt that if he wanted to, he could easily destroy Sardinia with a single thunderbolt.

"This is quite an upgrade. But more importantly, Erica, did Athena tell you about the Gorgoneion?"

Alexander knew Erica's importance and that if he wanted to obtain the Gorgoneion without a fight, he'd need her help. Of course, he wasn't afraid of a battle, but fighting for the sake of fighting wasn't something he enjoyed. Getting what he wanted without a fight was always a win in his book.

"Yes, Athena did tell me," Erica responded seriously. "But, even though I trust you, how can you guarantee that Athena, once she has the Gorgoneion, won't harm the world?"

Hearing this, Alexander sighed in exasperation. 'These people still don't trust me, do they?'
