"Seventh affinity level magic, Trap of the Phoenix!"

Matteo points his red glowing wand at the two Ryndoria mages. Instantly huge phoenixes, made of fire, appeared behind them and trapped them in place with their wings. It was a new technique Ignis taught Matteo as a crowd control technique.

The two Oriventh mages tried to interfere, but I quickly blocked them off.

"Frezo!"

"Flaro!"

"Frezo!"

The Oriventh mages and I were busy clashing our fire and ice spells together while Matteo proceeded to absolutely demolish the Ryndoria mages. It appears he has gotten a lot stronger over the past month.

Matteo ends his battle with the Ryndoria mages by flicking his wand with fancy movement, which created erupting flames onto the ground and shooting both Ryndoria mages into the air and crashing them down into the ground with a loud thud.

I used the flash bang technique Ignis taught me on one of the Oriventh mages and then shot him with the blackthorn spell which took him out. I hear another thud and turn around. Matteo ran out of mana and fell down to his knees, taken out of commission, as he is too tired now. It was just a one versus one situation now.

The last Oriventh mage surrendered, as he knew the extent of my power from the last round. Also, because he would be in a lot of danger if Matteo recovered his mana. Good thing he surrendered because I was running out of mana quickly.

The crowd cheers for us as won the second event. There is only one more last event where each school picks one person to represent them in the arena. I head back to the private room where Estes and Justus came to congratulate me. Matteo is conscious, but just needs to rest. The next round was going to start soon and Estes was the one who was in the best shape out of all of us. He was going to represent us in the final round.

As if on cue, the magical communication system rang throughout the entire arena. "All viewers, please return to your seats. The final round of the Glozaria Keeper Cup is about to begin."

Matteo and I said goodbye to Estes as we left him alone in the room to prepare himself mentally. Justus led us throughout the arena until we found some stairs to our seats. As we walked down step by step, I noticed how big the arena truly was here. From the perspective of a fighter in the arena, the size doesn't truly set in until you are in the stands yourself.

People started cheering as Estes and the other members of Ryndoria and Oriventh made their way to the center of the arena. The crowd roared so loudly I thought I was going to be become deaf. There were only three people in the arena left since it was the final round. If Estes was the last one standing, we would win this.

"Begin!", the Keeper Principal announced again.

This time, since there were only three people left, they were cautious about launching an attack. In this scenario, there are three people. If two people fight, the third one could launch a surprise attack. Estes was facing up against a girl water mage from Ryndoria and a guy wind mage from Oriventh.

"Seventh affinity magic, Twin tornadoes!" Facing Estes and the Ryndoria member, the Oriventh member shouted, pointing in their general direction with his wand. The wind around the Oriventh member was visible as it aggressively moved through the air. The speed and strength of the air made it feel like it could rip me to shreds. Even from up here in the stands, the wind made my hair rustle about.

The water mage and Estes did their best against the onslaught of air. The Oriventh member launched his twin tornados. One of each of the tornados came barreling toward Estes and the Ryndoria member. Estes created several walls of stone around him, protecting him from the current.

The Ryndoria member, the water mage, was not so lucky as she went flying into the wall.

She wasn't able to create her ice wall in time. The Oriventh guy, confident that he took her out, launched an all out assault on Estes. His stone wall could not withstand the constant airstrikes being targeted at him for too long.

"Oriventh is better than Tarondar any day!", the wind mage said as his blasts of air kept up the pressure on Estes's defenses. Eventually, Estes's stone walls crumbled. He had low mana and still suffered some injuries from the duo duel.

Out of the corner of my eye, I noticed several snowflakes appearing next to the wind mage. In a matter of seconds, he noticed it as well. The attacks on Estes paused, giving him enough time to recover.

"Huh?" was the last the wind mage heard as the snowflakes bursted in his face, causing his body to be frozen. He got ice bombed, which was pretty funny. The Ryndoria girl recovered well from her initial downfall of being thrown into the wall. She searched desperately for any sight of Estes.

"Geodorn!"

The battlefield was now littered with enormous boulders Estes had summoned out of the ground.

It looks like he was trying a new strategy. The girl started casting ice spells randomly at any sound. The boulders looked sad as they became overtaken by ice.

"Don't screw with me!", the wind mage yelled as he used his last remaining mana to break free from the ice. The water mage instantly noticed him being free from her ice. She quickly formed an overwhelming large water ball which surprised him.

This honestly surprised me as well because I have some ptsd from water ball magic from my fight with Colin. After about ten seconds, she released the hold over the wind mage, who could hardly breathe. This was a mistake for her to release her magic as a flying boulder struck her and the wind mage to be damaged together.

I grimaced as the impact caused a small shockwave. I know Estes didn't mean to overdo it, but it looked like he wanted the fight over with, and I honestly couldn't blame him.

"The champion of the GCK is Estes Helira!", the Keeper Principal exclaimed to the entire crowd. "The winner of the GCK is The Keeper Academy of Tarondar!"

The atmosphere felt like it was going to be lifted into space. Many people had faces of surprise, excitement, disbelief, etc. I was just happy we won because it means the Eradicators still saw value in us. Winning the huge event will also satisfy their pride.

What will happen next? When will the HLH make their move?
