Httyd: The Untamed (Remastered)

Chapter 44: Suprise

1 week later

It had been a week since I started my training. It had been fruitful. Since I spent most of the time alone doing paperwork, I could focus on controlling my power.

Currently, I had removed nine seals. Just one more seal remained, and then I would have to go into seclusion. The creation of my god body would take up to a month's time. I'd been stalling since I promised to spend time with Elsa. If I suddenly disappeared without telling her, it might give her the wrong impression.

I had recently explained to Merida about our future children. She was surprised and a little upset that she wouldn't be able to raise and watch them grow at a normal pace. But in the end, she accepted it since she couldn't really do anything about it.

The reason I wasn't too worried about our children growing up fast was because of my skill that gives me almost full control of my emotions, and the fact that I could pass on my throne so soon. Of course, I wouldn't just give the throne to anyone. I wanted to pass it on as fast as possible, but I could wait a few decades.

"What are you thinking about?" Elsa asked, her voice calm as she sat across from me.

"Well, I plan to go into seclusion today. It might last a month," I answered.

"Is it about that metamorphosis you were talking about?" she asked.

"Yes, but it is more important," I replied.

"Oh, and what is that?" she asked, a hint of curiosity in her eyes.

"Let's keep it a surprise," I said with some mystery.

I picked up the small teacup placed in front of me and sipped a little. Elsa covered her mouth and looked away, and my mouth twitched.

"Is it that funny?" I asked.

"It will never not be funny," she answered with a smile.

I sighed. What could I do? I was over seven feet tall, and these cups weren't even half as big as my palm.

"Did you tell everyone yet?" she asked.

"Yes, all the other generals know, as well as Merida and Moon. They should be preparing a chamber for my new evolution," I answered.

"What do you plan to do after the evolution?" she asked.

"Well, don't you want to get married?" I asked.

She kept her composure and answered, "I do."

"Well, then it's settled," I said. She nodded.

I stood as she followed. I had thought about it for a while. I'd rather marry her as soon as possible than lose her later and learn that I had developed feelings for her. And as for my love for her, I'll eventually develop it during the marriage.

Eventually, we reached the prepared chamber. My generals noticed me first and greeted me. I nodded back as Moon jumped toward me. I caught her and gave her a small jar of honey. Her eyes sparkled as she immediately jumped off and tried to open it.

I walked to Merida and kissed her before I handed her a pen. Her eyebrow raised. "What is this?" she asked.

"This is a special pen. I've connected it to you. I created it as a key. This can open and close the jar that's currently within Moon's grasp."

Moon, upon hearing this, perked up and headed toward Merida. My dad then ran over and charged me, grabbing me into a large hug. My mother and brother joined in as they hugged me.

I then handed a ring to Elsa. "This is a promise," I said. She smiled and nodded.

I then turned around and headed inside the chamber before it closed. They all waved as the door slowly sealed shut. The next time I would see them would be a month from now. I would have never expected the surprises that would happen after my seclusion.

"Alright, Diastasi, I'm ready," I said.

"Okay," she replied.

I focused on every part of my being as my final seal slowly released. Power coursed through my every being as my body began to shake. Pain shot through my body as the process continued.

"Hang in there, Erik. This is the first step: the destruction of the mortal body. It will take a week," she said.

A week later, the second stage started: the creation of the god body. This took another week. And then the flow of god energy in the body, and then finally the integration of the god energy and the god body. This took the last two weeks.

Moon's POV

It's been a day since Dad went into seclusion. Right now, I'm really bored. Why do I even have to study anyway? I thought, listening to Jin explain the nuances of etiquette.

Maybe I should just sneak out. No, Jin already knows all the places I could be. Should I leave the castle? No, Mommy would get so mad. What could I do?

"Princess, what are you thinking about?" Jin asked, his voice pulling me back to my senses.

"Cough, nothing," I answered, trying to act normal.

"Is that so? Then can you tell me which spoon is used for tea?" he asked, a knowing look on his face.

...

"Well?" he prompted again.

"Does it matter? Aren't they all the same?" I asked, completely confused.

He sighed, and then he started to nag me, going on and on about the importance of manners. Ugh, why does he know so much about etiquette? Oh, I know!

"Cough, cough," I coughed loudly to get his attention.

He stopped talking and waited for me to say something.

"It's time to eat!" I announced with a triumphant grin.

"Princess," Jin said, his voice completely calm.

"What?" I was confused.

"Lunch was 20 minutes ago," he said, and I just stared at him.

...

Ten minutes later, as Jin continued talking, I just stared at the ceiling. He must have noticed, because I heard him sigh. "Sigh, Princess. I think this is enough for today."

I immediately stood up and ran out of the room, slamming the door as I flew through the halls.

"Woohoo!" I shouted as I ran. Now that studying was finally over, what should I do? Maybe I should go to the dragon's den. Or maybe the royal garden. If I remember correctly, Daddy used the flowers in the garden to make honey.

As I ran around, I saw Mommy and stopped. "Mommy!" I said as I ran toward her. I then stopped right in front of her as I noticed something was wrong. "Mommy...." I paused, staring at her stomach.

"Is there something wrong?" Mommy asked, a gentle smile on her face.

"Did you get fat?" I asked.

She froze at what I said. Even the maids behind her covered their mouths in shock. Mommy then smiled, which for some reason scared me.

"Well, maybe if I'm getting fat, we should go on a diet. That means only a small bowl a day," she said.

I immediately stepped back, shaking my head. "Mommy, I was just joking! You're not fat!" I said, my voice rising in panic.

She covered her mouth with a hand, a laugh bubbling up. "I'm just playing with you, dear," she said.

"Oh, okay," I replied, a wave of relief washing over me. Though, I still couldn't look away from her stomach.

She smiled again and grabbed me into her arms.

"Well, don't you want to know why my tummy is so big right now?" Mommy asked.

I nodded vigorously. "Yes, tell me, Mommy!" I asked excitedly.

"Mommy is pregnant! That means in a few days, you'll get a baby sister or brother," she said.

"Wow, really?" I asked, my eyes wide with wonder.

"Of course, dear. Do you want a baby sister or brother?" she asked.

I rubbed my chin, thinking it over. "Hm, I want a baby brother," I decided.

"Oh, why not a girl?" she asked.

"Of course, because I'll stay Daddy's favorite daughter," I said, raising my chin proudly.

She smiled and gave me a kiss. "Ahaha, Mama, don't!" I laughed as she started to tickle me.

"Haha, what do you want to do, Moon?" she asked.

My eyes brightened. "Mama, let's go eat," I said excitedly.

She shook her head in acceptance before she carried me away.

Three days later

It's been three days since Dad entered seclusion. "Roar," a gronckle rumbled.

"Your Name will be Iron," I said, pointing at the dragon.

He nodded, gave a small roar, and sat back down.

I then saw a skrill. It was the same one Daddy used to ride before he started using the carriage. I ran up to it and was amazed. There were a few dozen skrills in the dragon den, and this one was the biggest. I had to come up with a really cool name for it. I rubbed my chin as I thought.

"Oh, I know! Your name will be Giant!" I said.

He didn't even look at me and just huffed. "Okay, I guess you don't like it," I muttered.

Hmm, what kind of name would he like? "How about Spiky?" I said. The skrill huffed again. "How about Flash? No? Then how about Lighting? Thunder? Zap?" I continued to shout out names.

The Storm

An hour later, as I continued to name him, I looked up and noticed that he had covered his ears. "Sigh. You don't like any of the names I gave you," I said as I laid down on the floor.

What kind of name would he even like? As I continued to think, there was a sudden clap of thunder, and the cave for some reason became windy. Is there gonna be a storm? I thought. Wait, I suddenly stood up.

"I got the perfect name!" I said excitedly.

He turned his attention toward me and looked at me like I was an idiot.

"Your name shall be Storm!" I shouted grandly.

His eyes widened as he took one of his paws and rubbed his chin. He smirked and then nodded. As I laughed at my success, I felt like I was forgetting something. My eyes then widened. I was supposed to have tea with Mommy! I ran to Storm and jumped on him.

"Storm, take me to the castle!" I commanded.

Storm didn't move and just lay there. Oh, yeah. I then conjured Daddy's greatest creation: the honey. Hahaha, Daddy forgot that I could conjure anything I'd eaten before. I didn't even need Mommy's permission. Muhaha.

"If you take me to the castle, this is yours," I said with a grin, holding up the small jar.

Storm gulped and got up as he ran out of the den. I grabbed on tightly as he flew toward the castle.

Five minutes later, after reaching the part of the castle Mommy was in, I jumped off of Storm and handed him the jar of honey before running. He just stood there with the jar of honey in his mouth. I had forgotten to open the jar, though I would only find that out later.

As I ran through the halls, I finally reached Mommy's room. I slowed down as I noticed multiple maids pacing around. I then heard a scream of pain. I knew who it was and ran toward the door. A maid noticed and stopped me.

"Princess, please wait. The queen is currently giving birth," she said.

"But Mommy!" I said, worried.

"Get warm water!" someone from inside shouted.

The maid entered with a big bowl of water. Seeing this, I snuck in and ran to Mommy's side. I grabbed her hand. "Mommy, are you okay?" I asked.

She turned to me. "I'm okay, dear. What are you doing he—agh!" she screamed in pain.

"Mama!" I said, my voice filled with worry.

"Don't worry, dear, it's okay," she comforted me, even as her face scrunched up in pain.

I nodded and held her hand tightly.

A few hours later, I heard the sound of a baby crying. "Wah, wah." The baby was finally here, and I just held Mama's hand as the maids cleaned the baby. Soon, someone came with the baby and handed it to Mama.

"It's a boy," said the maid.

I slowly got on the bed and laid near Mama and poked the baby's cheek. "He's ugly," I said.

"Haha, all babies look ugly in the beginning," Mama said.

"What? Even me?" I said, pointing at myself.

She smiled. "Of course not, you are special. You were born cute." she said.

I smiled as I lifted my chin. "Of course I am," I said smugly.

"So what's his name?" I asked.

"Your father had already chosen multiple names, but I think my favorite one is—"

Note: Like I said previously I plan to do Peter Pan first. As for mulan I will post all the chapters of that movie together when I'm done. I've chosen the name for Erik's first child. If you can guess what the name is you can choose the next movie. I'll give you a hint, it has something to do with Dragon slaying fire magic. As for Sofia the first I do plan to add that but as stated before it will mainly be an adventure for moon. Erik will only be involved if it's really important. Enjoy. Type your guess in chat.
