HP: The Stellar Witch [OFC]

Chapter 15: Chapter 15: Senior Student Narcissa

After class, James Potter waited for Lily Evans to pass by, but instead saw her approach the Slytherin who needed after-class tutoring.

Watching Lily speak gently to the Slytherin, Potter was displeased.

Evans went up to Lys to talk about the guidance she had given her under the beech tree a month ago. Although time had passed, Lily felt she had misled Lys.

"My guidance last time wasn't sufficient. Professor McGonagall is our Head of House. She may seem strict, but she's actually fantastic!"

Seeing Lys's increasingly dejected face, Evans continued, "Don't be nervous. Professor McGonagall is incredibly skilled. You missed it because you were late to the first class, but she transformed into a fluffy little cat!"

Observing Lys's shocked expression, Lily Evans felt proud. She held her head high, smiled at Lys, and said "Good luck!" while Snape waited for her with a wooden face behind her.

Potter, seeing the greasy Slytherin slug behind Lily and now an incompetent, ignorant fool in front of her, thought Sirius was right - look at those clothes, like wearing rat skin.

Potter was fuming.

He stepped forward and said loudly, "Lily, stop talking to these Slytherins. They're all evil dark wizards, unworthy of your friendship!"

He looked at the two Slytherins in front of him with contempt, "Snivellus! Stop clinging to Lily. Look at that disgusting hair of yours, did you just crawl out of an oil barrel?"

Lys thought that Sirius Black and the short one called Peter seemed a bit off, just laughing "Hahaha" after Potter spoke, like idiots.

"If you're feeling unwell," Lys pointed to her head, "you might want to seek help from Madam Pomfrey. I think her medical skills are quite excellent. But now I need to go to my next Herbology class. Snape, shouldn't you be going too?" She said this without looking at the Gryffindors and turned towards the classroom door.

"Potter, stop causing trouble for no reason. Who I choose to be friends with is my freedom! Please stay away from me. Let's go, Severus."

Watching Lily hold Snivellus's hand and walk away from him, that Snivellus gave him a mocking smile! And that rat-skin-wearing guy, he'd make them pay!

Actually, Lys, standing at the door, really wanted to tell Lily Evans to stay away from her, because that arrogant glasses boy and the haughty dog would surely cause her trouble because of this.

In these two months since school started, any boy who got close to Lily Evans had received warnings from those four...

A little after seven in the evening, Lys set out with her pocket watch. She had no choice; she didn't know the way.

As usual, she first went to the suit of armor in the corner of the dungeon to chat with it, praising its exquisite joint craftsmanship, then asking where Professor McGonagall's office was.

Learning it was just on the second-floor corridor, she realized she had left a bit early. So she sat down next to the armor and repeated those clichés about its artistic faceplate and flexible joints.

"Yes, yes, this faceplate is the best I've seen, ah! Ahhh!"

Lys couldn't help but scream suddenly. A ghost floated out of the armor just as she was relaxing and yawning.

"Oh, a little Slytherin snake! Let me see, you must be from the Black family, look at the curl of your hair and those gray eyes, so similar, too similar!"

Speaking these words that frightened Lys, he circled around her, passing through walls and occasionally touching her.

The feeling of passing through cold water sobered Lys. Dad had said not to provoke the Blacks.

This ghost's words couldn't be known by others.

"Hello, yes, my surname is Black, but our family only came to England in my grandfather's generation. Perhaps there were distant relatives in the past, it's possible."

"Oh of course, pureblood child, very likely, the Black family bloodline is always pure!"

Lys thought he had finally floated away. Of course it's pure, the Sorting Hat hadn't even looked at her qualities, just sorted her into Slytherin based on her pure bloodline. Tch, she wanted to go to Hufflepuff, wanted to play with El Elbow.

Checking her pocket watch, Lys got up to go to Professor McGonagall's office, unaware of Narcissa emerging from around the corner behind her.

Ever since Narcissa saw those gray eyes almost identical to her brother's at the Sorting Ceremony, she had almost believed it was a lost child of the Orion family head.

But thinking of his wife's influence, she thought it unlikely.

This ghost had been lingering in Hogwarts for hundreds of years, able to recognize any Black family bloodline. It seemed this Starlys Black needed some attention.
