It turns out that the portrait of Eric wasn't there in the hidden office in the manor, instead what he found was Eric's walking corpse instead. Orion again had no idea what was going on, according to what Orion had heard from Eric, when he died he turned his own magic picture.

So, where is that portrait ? There is only the vampire here, Zombie vampire that is.

Orion was very confuse, however, there was nothing that he could do about it just like always.

As the option of getting Eric's help was now out of table, he just convernt the place his own research lab.

As for the vampire... after seeing him he could only smile.

After all the entire reason for going back in time was to find eric and get the guardian power from him.

'How ironic it is, I went to past to him him but ultimately I find him here in the futuere. Sigh...'

He wanted to test on him and find out that guardian power Asap, however there was more important things to worry about.

After all its not gonna be easy to help out Orion Junior. Will take much time for even someone like him find a way to recreate his core.

As for absorbing magic, he just scoff... that little guy was even better than him in this expect.

He honestly was jealous just how easy magic come to him. Though after seeing what the poor child went though just because he can't handle his own magic, the jealousy ran out. He prefer living than having that kind of ability."

And thus time kept on passing, Orion completely decicated himself on his training and finding Merlin and lastly helping out Orion Junior.

"Good think I age slow, or by the time I catch up with my original time, I would be an a middle age man." he grumble and started working

Orion spent months researching ways to restore the baby's magical core, pouring through books, experimenting, and exhausting every spell he knew. The process was consuming all his energy and time, and he found himself getting more fustrated as each day passed.

It was only after a particularly long day, feeling utterly frustrated and exhausted, that a memory suddenly clicked. He stopped mid-thought, almost like lightning hit him out of the blue. Because he remember something which honestly he should have done in the first place.

Realizing he already had something that could work. He had the Squib Potion—a potion he'd developed long ago, intended for people born without the ability to cast spells. While it wasn't the same as a spell to recreate a magical core, it was close enough. With a few adjustments, he might be able to use it to gently stimulate the baby's core back into existence.

Excitement surged in him as he realized this solution had been right in front of him all along. All he had to do was modify the potion, shifting its effects from creation to regeneration.

"I need a long break, my mind is starting to give up on me.

Fuck it...."

He immediately set to work, carefully adjusting the ingredients and enchantments to stabilize the potion's power for a fragile, developing core. It was a delicate process, but Orion's experience in potion-making gave him the confidence he needed.

Years passed, and Orion's relentless work finally paid off. Well he didn't needed years honestly, he just waited until the kid was grown up enough to the point that he can handle magic.

After only few months he had developed a potion that could heal Orion Junior damaged magical core. Even then it had taken longer than he'd ever anticipated, but now he had the solution in his hands and the kid was big enough, it was time to act.

One quiet night, he made his way to the orphanage where Orion Junior lived. Watching from a distance, he saw the boy—a young version of himself—sitting alone outside, gazing up at the stars. A surge of emotions filled Orion, a mix of pride, sadness, and determination.

'I really have come along a long way….' He can't help but wonder. He remember being the helpless kid back then and how here he was, time travelling, preparing to save the world. Too much bullshit honestly.

Carefully, he cast a subtle spell to cloud Orion Junior's mind, creating a gentle hallucination to keep him calm and unaware of his presence. Under this spell, Orion Junior would simply feel relaxed, almost as if he were in a dream. Orion approached him quietly and knelt beside him, observing the boy's peaceful face.

"Don't worry," he murmured softly. "Actuallly scratch that, this is where your worries are about to start… sigh, sorry but I too have no other option right now. Though with me, my Time will be save, at least I hope so, you have to do something about your time yourself…." Orion smile helplessly.

He carefully lifted the potion to Orion Junior's lips, encouraging him to drink it. The potion was designed specifically for his unique magical makeup, and as Orion Junior instinctively swallowed, Orion could feel the faint flicker of magic beginning to awaken within the boy. It was working.

But it's gonna be hard, rebuilding the core that is, Orion had long realized that his magical core was different than normal people.

He can absorb magical unlike others. To prevent this ability, he can't create another artificial core, which not only can't absorb magic but at the same time will be weaker, there is no way he can settle with that.

No ! The only way is to regenerate the damage Magical core. This special magical core might take a long time to get repair, just like what happpened with him, but this is the thing which have make what he is right now.

Once the potion was fully consumed, Orion gently laid the boy down, ensuring he was comfortable and safe. The effects of the spell would wear off in moments, and when Orion Junior woke, he will not remember about him but if his own memory is right then in his mind he will learn the method of 'Integration' just like how he did.

With a final glance, he whispered, "You'll be all right now," and disappeared into the night, leaving his young self to grow strong and, hopefully, safe.
