HP: I started with the The Dark Dimension

Chapter 11: Chapter 11: The Fall of the White Witch

As Magnus and the White Witch arrived back at her castle, they immediately began forming strategies for the upcoming war against Aslan's followers. The air was thick with tension as Jadis sat upon her icy throne, discussing troop formations and battle tactics with her generals. Magnus listened intently, nodding in agreement, all while hiding his true intentions.

After the war council ended, Magnus retreated to his chambers. Once alone, he summoned a portal to the Dark Dimension and stepped through. Byakuya awaited him, kneeling before an assembled army of shadow oni and monstrous creatures. Their glowing eyes burned with hunger for war.

"The battle begins tomorrow," Magnus declared. "When the time is right, I will strike the White Witch down while she is distracted. Once she falls, unleash our forces and annihilate her allies."

Byakuya bowed. "As you command, my lord."

Satisfied, Magnus returned to Narnia and requested the system to send him back. He then went to bed, knowing that by tomorrow night, the White Witch would be no more.

The Battle Begins

The next morning, Magnus woke and donned his dark cloak and belt. Mounting a skeletal horse, he rode alongside the White Witch towards the battlefield. The frozen plain stretched before them, where Aslan's forces, led by Peter, Edmund, and Oreius the Centaur, stood in formation.

Peter and Edmund rode forward to meet them, stopping a few feet away. "Magnus, step away from her!" Peter called. "You don't have to do this!"

Jadis sneered, gripping her sceptre tightly. "Fools. There is no backing down now."

Without another word, they turned and rode back to their respective sides. Jadis raised her sceptre, and with a single command, her army charged. As her followers stormed across the battlefield, Magnus and Jadis remained atop the hill, watching as chaos erupted below.

As the clash intensified, Magnus whispered to the system, "Count twenty seconds, then open the portal."

Tightening his Sorcerer's Hat and adjusting his belt, he waited for the countdown to finish. Then, with a commanding voice, he ordered, "System, open the gate!"

A massive black portal ripped open behind him, and the shadow oni and creatures of the Dark Dimension flooded the battlefield, clashing against the White Witch's forces. Screams echoed through the air as her followers were slaughtered.

Jadis turned to Magnus, fury in her eyes. "You dare betray me?!"

Magnus smirked. "You were never my master."

Their battle began with an explosion of magic.

Jadis unleashed devastating ice magic, summoning frozen spikes and hurling blizzards. Magnus countered with flames from the Dark Dimension, conjuring dragons of molten rock to attack her. He even turned the battlefield's debris into fire serpents, but Jadis fought back fiercely, proving why she was feared.

Peter suddenly charged into the battle, swinging his sword at both of them. Magnus blocked his attack but refused to strike back. "Get out of my way, Peter!"

"I won't let you help her!" Peter shouted.

Magnus clenched his fists, remembering his promise to Helen Pevensie. Protect your siblings. He sent a controlled shockwave to push Peter back without harming him, ensuring the White Witch wouldn't target him either.

At that moment, the system chimed:

Secret Quest Completed: Massacre the White Witch's Followers. Reward: Amulet of Daylight (Trollhunter Edition).

Before he could react, another alert appeared:

Secret Quest Completed: Fight Peter on the Battlefield. Reward: Magiktech Armour Upgrade.

As Magnus glanced at his rewards, Jadis took advantage, unleashing a devastating blast that sent him crashing into the ice. He gasped in pain, feeling his body tremble from the impact.

Determined, he grasped the Amulet of Daylight, reading its inscription. The moment he activated it, the Magiktech Armour formed around his body. His Sorcerer's Hat returned to its deep blue colour with golden stars, while his belt transformed into an integrated gauntlet. The flames now burned an intense blue, radiating power.

Renewed, Magnus rose. The ground cracked beneath his feet from his sheer magical presence. "Your reign ends today, Jadis."

The final battle between them was cataclysmic.

Jadis summoned an ice storm that shook the battlefield. Magnus countered with fire and shadow dragons, their flames melting her attacks mid-air. They clashed in the sky, magic colliding in a violent storm.

As they prepared their final attacks, a massive explosion erupted, sending a shockwave across the field. Smoke covered everything.

As it cleared, Magnus stood on one leg, his armour battered, his arm broken. Half of the White Witch's body was missing, her form disintegrating. She fell to her knees, staring in disbelief.

"This… is impossible," she whispered.

Magnus loomed over her. "You should have known better than to trust me."

With one final flick of his wrist, blue flames consumed her, reducing the White Witch to nothing but ashes.

Victory and the Road Ahead

The battlefield fell silent. With their leader gone, the remnants of the White Witch's army fled in terror. Aslan's forces cheered in victory, but Peter, Edmund, and the others approached Magnus warily.

The system chimed once more:

Quest Completed: The Fall of the White Witch. Reward: Wheel of Power – Grants two spins for magical abilities and items.

Before Magnus could process this, his vision blurred, and he collapsed.

When he awoke, he found himself in a medical chamber. By his bedside, Peter, Susan, Edmund, Lucy, and Matilda were asleep, exhausted from the battle. As he stirred, a cough escaped his lips, waking them up.

They rushed to his side. "Magnus! You're awake!" Lucy exclaimed.

Magnus sighed. "I'm sorry," he murmured. "The reason I didn't let you go back to Mother… was because she asked me to protect you."

Peter and Edmund exchanged glances before nodding. "We understand," Peter said softly.

After resting, Magnus asked about his army. He was surprised to learn they had stayed to help rebuild Narnia, proving their loyalty.

Once he was strong enough, he gathered his forces and sent them back to the Dark Dimension. Then, standing before the portal leading to Earth, he took one last look at his siblings.

With a deep breath, Magnus stepped forward, vanishing from the Spiderwick Estate.
