How Kurama Leads Naruto Astray

Chapter 115: Chapter 115: Shaking My Brain to Mix It All Together

Sakura suddenly felt that Kakashi, this lazy older guy, was kind of cool. How strange. Why did she feel this way? She used to think Naruto was cool, but now Kakashi too?

Could it be that all three guys in her team were actually handsome?

Sakura realized something huge.

Naruto didn't notice the strange expression on Sakura's face and instead turned to Kakashi. "Kakashi-sensei, when you said Sakura should teach me, does that mean it's okay for her to learn it too?"

Sakura froze and instinctively looked at Kakashi for an answer.

"Ah," Kakashi nodded. "S-class ninjutsu shouldn't be shown to others easily, but there are exceptions. Wood Release, special sealing techniques (like the Diamond Seal or the Four Symbols Seal), and ninjutsu that normal ninjas can't learn are not restricted by those rules."

"Although they still shouldn't be taught easily, the restrictions are not as strong as with other ninjutsu."

"Why?" Sakura was a bit confused. "Wasn't it said that all high-level ninjutsu can't be passed on to others unless the original creator agrees or the Hokage allows it? That's why the ninjutsu in the Sealing Book can't be shared."

This was why most of the ninjutsu Kakashi taught them were simple taijutsu or even just Raikiri, a ninjutsu he had created. He hadn't taught much else, partly because Naruto and the others were too weak back then and partly because of the restrictions mentioned earlier.

"You're right." Kakashi nodded, then continued explaining, "Raikiri, Rasengan, the Yin Seal, the Eight Gates, Shadow Clone Jutsu, and so on—these are all powerful techniques, either in their strength or side effects. If someone else learns them, they could become a powerful ninja. That's why the Book of Seals has so many restrictions."

"But techniques like Wood Release, special sealing jutsu, kekkei genkai, secret arts, and so on are not easy to learn."

Kakashi paused for a moment before speaking again, "For example, Wood Release—so far, the only ninja known to use it is the First Hokage, Senju Hashirama. No one else has been able to learn it, so even if it were stolen, it wouldn't matter because no one else can use it."

"Because of this, the restrictions on ninjutsu that can't easily be learned by others are much weaker in Konohagakure. Some techniques even allow ninja to learn them from each other, like sealing techniques or summoning jutsu. Almost every ninja knows these, but only a few actually use them in battle."

Kakashi himself knows sealing jutsu, but he doesn't use it often. Without an immense amount of chakra and knowledge as a foundation, sealing jutsu can't be used effectively in combat. At most, it's used for interference and traps, so sealing ninjas rarely engage in direct battles. They're mostly used to control tailed beasts.

Then there are techniques you think you can understand but can't, like the Flying Thunder God technique.

Kakashi has seen the scroll for the Flying Thunder God technique. All high-ranking ninjas in Konohagakure, as long as they have a clean background, have seen it. But in the end, only Minato was able to master it.

(P.S. Minato learned the Flying Thunder God through his battle achievements, with help from Jiraiya, and also because of his relationship with Kushina. Konohagakure wanted to increase Minato's strength.)

(P.S. 2: The above information is based on what I've heard, not official sources. I haven't found any materials directly linking Minato to learning the Flying Thunder God, so my take on the Book of Seals is a personal interpretation.)

Of course, this doesn't mean that Konohagakure takes these jutsu scrolls lightly and allows them to spread casually. It just means that as long as you're a loyal Konohagakure ninja and not a spy, you can view these scrolls without issue.

But it shouldn't go too far.

Take Sakura, for example. With parents who are loyal to Konohagakure, and having grown up there, plus being led by Kakashi, it's fine for her to view the scroll. If she learns it, that would be great. Konohagakure would fully support it.

Sakura understood Kakashi's point, and she became a little excited. "So, does that mean I... can learn this technique?"

"That's right." Kakashi smiled and nodded.

"Great!" It wasn't Sakura but Naruto who shouted. After getting Kakashi's approval, he handed the scroll to Sakura. "Sakura-chan, it's all up to you now."

Sakura was somewhat dazed as she took the scroll. How could she, a low-ranked ninja who hadn't even learned medical ninjutsu yet, be about to learn the legendary S-rank space-time ninjutsu? It felt so unreal.

Kakashi could probably understand Sakura's current feelings. When he first saw the Flying Thunder God scroll, he felt the same. Only Naruto probably thought it wasn't a big deal.

Kakashi pulled out the "Icha Icha Paradise" again and smiled, saying,

" Sakura, you should practice with Naruto tonight and teach him. You won't need to go to the hospital today. Naruto will be leaving Konohagakure in a few days to train, so use this time to see if you can learn it."

"I understand, Kakashi-sensei." Sakura seemed a little excited.

Kakashi shook his head indifferently, "I still need to remind you, the Flying Thunder God technique is very difficult. If you find that you just can't understand it no matter how hard you try, just give up. Don't abandon the path you've already prepared for just because of one ninjutsu."

It's not worth it.

After all, no matter how powerful the Flying Thunder God is, it's just a ninjutsu. If you can't even understand it, then there's no point in trying to learn it. It's better to stick to the path you've already prepared, instead of stubbornly trying to learn a ninjutsu that you'll never get.

After hearing Kakashi's words, Sakura's eager heart calmed down a little. She looked at the scroll in her hands. Only one person had learned it in all these years, which showed how difficult this technique was. She glanced at herself and then at Naruto.

So many talented ninjas couldn't learn it, so why should she be able to?

With this thought, Sakura suddenly calmed down. She took a deep breath and bent down to Kakashi, "I understand. Thank you, Kakashi-sensei."

"Mm." Kakashi nodded with a smile, "Then I'll go first. I'll explain things at the hospital for you."

"Okay." Sakura nodded seriously.

Naruto waved at Kakashi from the side, "Goodbye, Kakashi-sensei."

"Mm." Kakashi responded, and in the next moment, his figure turned into smoke and disappeared.

Of course, this wasn't a shadow clone. The teleportation techniques of high-ranking ninjas are always varied, and turning into smoke is basic. Some of them are even stranger.

As Kakashi left, Naruto eagerly turned to Sakura, his whole body bursting with excitement, and shouted,

"Sakura, Sakura! Look at the ninjutsu scroll and explain it to me again. I've been practicing Rasengan these days, and it feels like my head is spinning along with the Rasengan."

Sakura was speechless.

It feels like your head is always spinning that way.

Your brain is probably all shaken up.
