How I Became Ultra Rich Using a Reconstruction System

Chapter 71: The Day Has Come

January 1st, 2025.

The date had finally come for the presentation of his executives. Timothy and Hana were on their way to the new office located along Fifth Avenue.

The Ford Raptor rolled down the ramp into the underground parking of The Finance Centre, headlights sweeping across neatly painted slots. The polished concrete gleamed, almost empty at this early hour, with only a few high-end sedans and SUVs scattered across the area.

Timothy eased the truck into his reserved slot, engine rumbling to a stop. He unbuckled, turned briefly toward Hana, and said, "Ready?"

Hana, already dressed in a crisp white blouse and navy blazer, her hair tied neatly, glanced at her tablet and gave a small nod.

"Everything is set, Mr. Guerrero. The executives have already logged into the call. The conference room is prepared."

"Good." Timothy stepped out, walking around to open her door. Together, they made their way toward the elevator lobby.

Hana tapped her ID card against the elevator panel, and the doors slid open smoothly. They entered, the silence broken only by the faint hum of machinery as the elevator ascended to the fifteenth floor.

When the doors opened, the TG Motors office greeted them in full.

Hana walked briskly toward the conference room. Timothy followed.

Inside, the long oval table was already prepared. A large screen dominated the far wall, showing the login interface of the upcoming presentation. Microphones were neatly arranged, bottles of water lined the table, and folders with the TG Motors logo were stacked at every seat.

Hana set her tablet down, immediately checking connections. "All systems green. The Singapore team is already online. We're just waiting for your signal to start."

Timothy adjusted his jacket, scanning the room. The executives he'd chosen, Carlos Mendoza included, were already present physically, seated on one side of the table. Others were joining remotely.

"Happy New Year, Mr. Guerrero," Carlos said with a firm nod. "This is it."

"Happy New Year," Timothy returned. He stepped up to the head of the table, resting one hand on the surface as his gaze swept the room. "Please introduce me to the executives that you have chosen for this subsidiary."

Carlos straightened in his seat, flipping open the folder in front of him. "Of course."

He gestured toward the man seated two chairs down. "This is Luis Santiago, our Chief Financial Officer. He spent ten years with Toyota's regional division before moving into independent consultancy. He knows the ins and outs of production cost, taxation, and how to squeeze margins in this environment."

Luis gave a respectful nod. "Mr. Guerrero, it's an honor. I've reviewed your outline. If executed correctly, TG Motors can leverage incentives far more efficiently than previous players."

Timothy's gaze shifted to the next person as Carlos continued.

"Samantha Estolas, Chief Operating Officer. She oversaw operations for Mitsubishi's plant in Sta. Rosa before it was closed. Knows plant floor logistics and has experience managing a workforce of more than 2,000 employees."

Samantha leaned forward slightly. "I'll make sure your factory runs without waste, Mr. Guerrero."

"And finally," Carlos said, gesturing toward a younger woman seated near the end, "Dr. Melissa Tan, Head of Research and Development. She's a chemical engineer who spent six years in Singapore working with advanced battery tech. Her focus will be on adapting your LithiumX platform to local conditions, heat, humidity, and infrastructure challenges. And also, she'll coordinate with the CTO of Mobility Holdings to make sure it is a success."

Melissa adjusted her glasses. "For such a young man like yourself to be in possession of an advanced battery. I must say I am intrigued and impressed. It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr Guerrero.

Timothy allowed himself a small smile. "Impressive choices, Mr. Mendoza. I can see you didn't waste time."

Carlos inclined his head slightly. "If we're building something this ambitious, I wanted a team that won't collapse under pressure."

Timothy turned, glancing at Hana. "Log them into the Singapore presentation."

"Yes, Mr. Guerrero," Hana said, her fingers moving across the tablet. Within moments, the large screen flickered, and the faces of the Singapore executives came into clear view. Akira, Vaughn, Tan, Cruz.

Timothy clasped his hands behind his back and stepped forward as he stood.

"Everyone, I would like to introduce to you the executives of the TG Mobility Holdings in Singapore. Akira Sato, our Chief Technology Officer."

Akira gave a small bow.

"Next," Timothy said, turning slightly, "is Robert Vaughn, our Chief Operating Officer."

Robert bowed his head politely, acknowledging their presence.

"And then, we have Mei Ling Tan, Chief Financial Officer."

"It's a pleasure to meet you all," Tan said with a bow of her head.

"And last, but not least, Angela Cruz, our Chief Marketing Officer."

Angela's confident smile was the kind that could win crowds. "Good morning everyone! Especially to my fellow Filipinos over there in the Philippines. Let's build this company together and make it to the top!"

Timothy allowed himself a faint smirk. "Good. That's exactly what I wanted to hear."

Timothy clapped his hands. "Now, that's all for the introductions of our team. I hope that each and one of you will work together for the best. After all, we all have great ambitions for this company. And that is to become the Top 1 car manufacturer in the world. We will begin the presentation by hearing what the executives from Singapore have to say. I have given them a task to research what companies we should contract with to build the gigafactory in the Philippines, where to apply loans and how we would fund the project, the supply chains, and how we are going to market it."

He continued. "You, executives of TG Motors Philippines, will make sure that their plans will align with our ground operations. Whatever they propose from Singapore, you will adapt and execute here without delay. This is how we will stay synchronized as one company."

The Philippine team nodded, their expressions serious.

"Now, let's begin the meeting."
