How I Became Ultra Rich Using a Reconstruction System

Chapter 69: Office Secured and the Prelude to Reconstruction

Six o'clock in the evening. Timothy and Hana were back on the basement parking where they left the Ford Raptor.

Timothy opened the door for her and she climbed down carefully, but her heel caught the edge of the curb.

"Ah—!" Hana gasped, losing balance.

Before she could fall, Timothy's arm shot out, steadying her by the waist. Her tablet nearly slipped from her hand, but she clutched it tightly, while his grip kept her upright.

For a brief second, time seemed to slow. Hana's eyes widened, her face tilted up toward him. Timothy's gaze locked on hers, his hand firm against her side.

Their breaths mingled faintly. Hana's cheeks turned pink, while Timothy, usually composed, found himself staring longer than he meant to.

Then, almost at the same time, they snapped back to reality.

"Sorry," Hana muttered quickly, straightening herself and brushing her skirt with her free hand.

Timothy let go, clearing his throat. "You should be careful. Don't rush."

"Yes, Mr. Guerrero," she said softly, though she avoided his eyes as she adjusted her tablet.

He gave a small nod, pulling the door open wider. "Come on. Let's get going."

Hana climbed into the passenger seat properly this time, sitting stiffly as Timothy rounded to the driver's side. As the Raptor's engine rumbled back to life, the awkward silence lingered between them.

Hana looked out of the window, hiding her face that was all beet red.

"Oh my god…Hana, what did you do? It's so embarrassing!" she inwardly screamed.

Timothy kept his eyes on the road as they eased out of the basement parking, but the silence was noticeable. He glanced at her briefly, then back at the traffic ahead.

"You alright?"

"Yes," Hana replied quickly, though her voice was a little too fast. She forced herself to look forward, clutching her tablet tightly on her lap. "I'm fine, Mr. Guerrero. Just… careless."

Timothy gave a small nod, but didn't press further. "Good. I thought you might've twisted your ankle."

"No, nothing like that," Hana said, shaking her head lightly.

The truck rolled past the BGC intersection, the city lights starting to glow as the evening crowd filled the sidewalks. Timothy shifted gears smoothly, then broke the quiet again.

"So, what's your plan for the evening?"

"I need to go back to Shangri-La," Hana answered. "The paperwork for the lease needs to be finalized tonight. If we want the office to be operational by January 1st, I can't afford to delay."

Timothy exhaled slowly, almost like a sigh. "I see…" His hand drummed lightly against the steering wheel. "I was going to invite you to dinner."

Hana's head tilted slightly, but she smiled faintly, eyes lowering. "That's kind of you, Mr. Guerrero. But I'll just order something from the hotel restaurant. I need to work through the night if I have to. The paperwork is more important right now."

Timothy's brow furrowed. He didn't argue, though part of him wanted to. Instead, he said simply, "Don't overdo it again. You already skipped sleep once. I need you functional, Hana, not worn out."

"I'll manage," Hana replied and added. "It's only for a few more days. Once everything is settled, we'll be in position to move forward without delays."

Timothy gave a short nod, letting the conversation end there. The Raptor rolled into Shangri-La's familiar driveway, the hotel staff already moving to assist as the truck slowed to a stop.

Timothy shifted the gear into park and turned slightly toward Hana. "We're here."

Hana gathered her tablet and handbag, pausing just long enough to glance at him.

"Thank you for the ride, Mr. Guerrero. And… for earlier."

His brow arched faintly. "Just be careful next time."

A flicker of pink touched her cheeks again before she pushed open the door. The hotel staff quickly stepped forward, one of them bowing slightly as he held the entrance open for her.

Timothy watched her until the glass doors closed behind her. For a moment, he lingered, his hand resting on the steering wheel. Then he exhaled through his nose, twisting the key and bringing the Raptor back to life with a deep rumble.

No time to waste.

He eased the truck out of the hotel's driveway and merged back into the BGC traffic. The neon signs and sleek buildings of the district slipped past the windows as he headed toward C5. His next destination lay further north, away from the polished streets of Taguig. To Tondo.

The dealership.

He needed to finalize the lineup of TG Motors before the year ended.

As the Raptor merged onto the highway, Timothy's expression hardened with focus. Hana had her paperwork, and he had his. Things are getting close and he could feel his heart racing from excitement.

One and a half-hour later. Timothy arrived at his dealership in Tondo, the Flawless Auto Resale.

It had been a while since he last visited the dealership. To think that this would be the place where he'd reconstruct an average car into a hi-tech electric vehicle that is way more advanced than Tesla and BYD.

He parked the Ford Raptor to the curb and turned the engine off. He got out of the driver's seat, and walked over to the huge gate of the dealership.

Obviously, it was closed since Timothy had stopped operating on it since he set his goals of starting his own automotive company.

He inserted the key to the small door of the huge gate and then pushed it open after unlocking it.

Inside, the cars were still there, along with the electric vehicle design concept that he had reconstructed using the Altis. He will use the remaining cars to transform them into a TG Lineup. Hatchback, subcompact to full-size sedan, crossover SUV, mid-size SUV, full-size SUV, and a pickup truck.

He already had the design in mind and the prompts required to materialize them. It will all be top of the line model of the car. After all, once he has the top of the line models for each car, making a different variant of each would be easy as it is just stripping off some of the features.

Timothy activated the reconstruction system and the user interface appeared before his eyes.

"Let's begin."
