Gao Ming wanted to hand all the monsters in the building to the big dog, but the big dog’s reaction was interesting. He didn’t accept or deny it clearly. He hoped that Gao Ming would send the monsters into the torture room first. In the future, he’d turn them into his followers. After being companions for so long, the big dog had guessed the torture room’s special uses. After monsters entered it, their fates would be bound to Gao Ming. He did this to make Gao Ming feel more at ease. The blind man in the past wouldn’t have thought about this, but he had changed.

The weird bird with nine heads, the deer hunter and Nian Yu… When the three most powerful monsters bowed to the big dog, the complete beast pattern appeared on the big dog’s body. The strange pattern not only had the memories of the humans before they were turned into beasts, but it also contained part of the Beast God’s experience. One could see a blurry blood city moving through the black mist. The blood city was like an ark moving in the world of black mist. The true body of the Beast God was hunted down by the citizens of that blood city.

As a Demon God that no one dared to mention casually, the Beast God didn’t think that it would one day perish. In its broken memories, there was very little information about its killer. There was only a bright, sunny smile and a giant hammer that radiated an extremely evil presence.

The warm smile and the bloody hammer harmoniously appeared in the same memory fragment. Even though he was the killer, one couldn’t gather the energy to hate him.

Sensing something, the man in the Beast God’s memory seemed to catch someone watching him. He raised the hammer dripping with soul blood and turned to the big dog. The big dog didn’t waste time and destroyed that memory. He believed that if he were slower, he’d be cursed.

“What’s wrong?” Gao Ming patted the fur on the big dog’s neck. He wanted to pat the big dog’s head, but the dog was too tall.

“It was the ruler of the blood city who killed the Beast God. The mud figurines at the bottom of the black lake and all the dead Gods in the shadow world… They appeared to be killed by that same ruler…” The big dog memorised the man’s face and told Gao Ming everything.

“Han Hai appears to be another blood city. If I can become the ruler here, I don’t have to fear fate anymore.” Gao Ming was thinking when Luo Dong’s wife suddenly ran over. Her body was covered in paint, and she looked anxious.

“What’s wrong?”

“I can sense my family’s location. They seem to be in trouble. My children are crying.” Luo Dong’s wife was pacing anxiously, but she didn’t dare to wander off without Gao Ming.

“Let’s go and check on them.” Since the Beast God had been destroyed, the building should have been safe already. Gao Ming didn’t expect Luo Dong’s group to run into danger. Gao Ming pulled all the ghosts into the torture room and entered the safe passage. It didn’t take long for him to discover the footprints from the centre’s standardised boots and the shredded uniform of the investigators.

“Shouldn’t they be at Li San Hospital?”

After speeding up, Gao Ming encountered more signs of fighting.

“They are just ahead!” Luo Dong’s wife shouted nervously. Gao Ming didn’t charge forward blindly. The God of Flesh and Blood had been gazed at twice by the blood city owner. His condition was bad. Gao Ming had confidence in dealing with a normal anomaly but not the investigation centre. The headquarters had many hidden tricks, and fate seemed to be helping them. Gao Ming faced a lot of trouble in dealing with Wan Jie’s special unit. There was also Jing Tuoshen to worry about. These were just the people Gao Ming knew about.

All the rooms on the third floor were thrown open. The remaining monsters were released. Gao Ming could hear them screaming.

“Luo Dong’s son can predict the monster’s location. There’s no way for them to be cornered.”

Gao Ming came to the second floor and looked down. He immediately pulled Luo Dong’s wife back and signalled her to be quiet.

The outside of the first-floor lobby had been dominated by darkness. However, endless investigators still charged in. They didn’t seem to fear the anomaly. On the empty field, the injured hostess was being healed by the doctors. Yu Ruohu and Yu Ruolong knelt on the ground with their hands behind their heads.

Luo Dong blocked the path of all the investigators like a wall. In front of him were the investigators, and behind him was his daughter, who was fighting the monsters.

Every investigator saw his daughter as a ghost, a curse-type demon that was no weaker than a mutated creature!

The investigators marched forward emotionlessly. The blood bands beeped. The order had been given. The robotic voice uttered, “Attack!”

“Please. Don’t come any further!” Luo Dong protected his timid son. As a father, he could only stand before his family to block the assault.

“Give up and follow us. You might get the chance to live.”

The investigators parted ways to allow a man in the east city investigation centre uniform to walk through. He wore a brand-new blood band. He radiated the presence of a curse. Half of his face was carved by the ghost tattoo. However, he still couldn’t control his power since he had just gotten the ghost tattoo. The tattoo on his left face moved, and it even bit his cheeks like it was alive.

When Gao Ming saw his time, his expression changed. This man was his high-school classmate, the monitor of Class 13, Yuan Hui!

As Situ An’s hidden spy, Yuan Hui was supposed to work together with Zuo Jun to sacrifice the entire Class 13. Unfortunately, they ran into Gao Ming.

After Situ An disappeared, Yuan Hui, Zuo Jun and the like were taken away by Jing Tuoshen. Since the man was wearing the centre uniform, it appeared like they had fully submitted to the investigation centre.
