Mobius claimed his body embraced infinite possibilities, but Xia Chen didn't fully grasp what she meant. However, he could see a desire flickering in her eyes.
Xia Chen hugged himself defensively. "We can talk, but please keep some distance. I'm already taken by my girlfriend."
The girl before him was mere centimeters away from his face, and Xia Chen couldn't help but notice the breathtaking beauty reflected in her eyes.
"Hmm, little white mouse, are you afraid?"
Mobius's unique doll-like voice, rather than sounding cute, felt unsettling. Xia Chen responded casually, "Such a clumsy attempt at provocation won't work on me. Besides, I think I've been quite cooperative already."
"Just tell me straight, what will happen to me?"
"I don't know," Mobius replied with an enigmatic answer.
Xia Chen glanced sidelong, "If you don't know, then why are you so excited?"
"Hmm, take a guess."
Mobius stepped back from Xia Chen, smiling. "There are far too many possibilities within you that can be explored. It's difficult to describe just how extraordinary this power might be. Heh heh heh, let's try something, little white mouse. I'll ask you a question."
"Have you ever considered that the 'you' right now might be in a quantum superposition state, and the true essence of yourself is not within this time and space?"
Xia Chen's thoughts stirred.
Mobius chuckled softly, like the tinkling of silver bells. "You hesitated, didn't you? Ha ha ha, how fascinating! Just like Stigmata, there could be identical versions of yourself across different timelines."
"Wait, you mean Stigmata?" He looked at Mobius and asked, "Are you suggesting my current condition is related to Stigmata?"
"Little white mouse, have you forgotten? The initial research on Stigmata began with your body as its source material." Mobius spoke casually, adding, "And even now, haven't you realized that the power of Stigmata seems inherently beyond human grasp?"
Stigmata had the ability to create a unique, separate space, encompassing consciousness within it. This power resembled divine authority bestowed upon humans.
Despite his experiences, Xia Chen still harbored many unanswered questions about this force. His very purpose for visiting the Elysian Realm was to seek clarity on these matters.
"I've been wanting to ask this too - why can Stigmata be transmitted through genes? You must know, human genes shouldn't possess such capabilities."
Although Xia Chen wasn't a biologist, he had some basic understanding of genetics.
Although it's often said that Stigmata serve as gene information banks, their inherent data cannot possibly contain a stigma space. In fact, a stigma space itself is a higher-dimensional existence.
Never before has a three-dimensional space accommodated consciousness.
Mobius shook her head, "That question should not be directed at me. Unfortunately, the one who knew this secret is already dead."
Her lack of specialization in Stigmata research was somewhat disappointing to Xia Chen.
"However, the potential within you might hold the hope for saving this world. Of course, if you can harness such extreme power effectively," Mobius added.
"Extreme power, what do you mean?" Xia Chen pondered swiftly and suddenly had a realization.
The ultimate goal of the Project Stigma was to connect each person's stigma space with the Imaginary Tree, essentially making every Stigma bearer a small world unto themselves.
With enough individuals like this, civilization could be preserved.
Hare was a successful example of such a connection.
Xia Chen shook his head, dismissing these thoughts. Mobius' statement may not have been entirely truthful, although he couldn't find any reason for her deception at present. Moreover, even if it were true, it currently held little relevance to him.
Just then, Mobius spoke up, "Little white mouse, here's something for you."
Xia Chen unconsciously accepted it, feeling a gray-black circular disc land in his hand.
"An imprint?"
"Hmm, so you do know something after all."
A Heroic Spirit's imprint can be seen as their blessing, serving as a unique method used by Elysian Realm's Heroes to assist in developing one's Stigmata power.
The strength of Stigmata originates from its Holy Mark consciousness, and the primary role of these imprints is to complete any fragmented parts of that consciousness.
However, Xia Chen didn't need this.
Both Ana and Sirin's Holy Mark consciousness within him were already perfect; there were no incomplete aspects.
Moreover, since when has Mobius ever kindly gifted anything?
"I don't require this," Xia Chen stated.
"Of course I know you don't." Mobius paused before continuing, "After all, I understand your body better than you do, knowing exactly what powers it possesses."
"So, this is actually for me."
Under Mobius' control, Xia Chen watched as the imprint merged with the Stigmata in his body.
Shortly after, Ana informed him that a young girl had appeared in his stigma space.
"You?" Xia Chen couldn't help but look at Mobius, "Are you planning to hide within my Stigmata?"
"Hmm, indeed, I too would like to witness both past and future," Mobius admitted openly.
"And don't worry, the imprints contain only my eyes; they won't affect you in any way."
"Please allow me to decline." Sticking to his stance, Xia Chen still couldn't trust Mobius. He calmly stated, "I believe Dr. Mobius should focus on her main objective. After all, our purpose here is to restore Fu Hua."
If Mobius were to discover the existence of the simulator, there's no telling what she might do. Moreover, Xia Chen was aware that Mobius was conducting experiments on consciousness transfer vessels; he feared she could potentially exploit this opportunity for her own gain.
With Ana's assistance, Xia Chen promptly extracted the imprints from the Stigmata.
A hint of darkness flickered in Mobius' eyes. "Oh dear, rejecting my gift? How uncooperative of you, little white mouse."
She did not insist further.
Xia Chen casually remarked, "Well then, I'll be taking my leave now."
There was nothing more to glean from questioning Mobius at this point. Xia Chen sensed that she indeed knew additional information but chose not to reveal it. In the Elysian Realm, once Mobius decided to withhold details, practically no one could make her speak up.
However, he had achieved his purpose for coming here.
The Stigmata were extracted from within his own body, and the simulator's power created superposition states of his body across various timelines.
In other words, each time the simulator is used, a version of himself from a different time overlaps with his present self.
Based on Mobius' information, this simulator possesses quantum capabilities.
Similarly, only quantum possibilities have the highest potential.
Xia Chen inexplicably thought of Seele, or rather, the Stigmata within her.
The Herrscher of Death from the previous era died before the emergence of Stigmata, yet its consciousness condensed within Seele's body in this current era.
At that time, there should have been no means to condense the Herrscher of Death's consciousness, let alone transfer it into Seele's being.
Xia Chen speculated that the final demise of the Herrscher of Death in the previous era might have been problematic, similar to his own situation.
He took a deep breath, temporarily setting aside these thoughts.
