Holy Ghost Lineage

I stared in awe at the man whom called himself the Holy Ghost and asked, "What exactly is my lineage, what does it do, how can I awaken it, how strong are you." It just came out like pouring cereal into a bowl.

"Ah, I see you probably don't know that. Okay I'll tell tell since we don't have much time since your soul signature isn't very strong yet." He said kinda acting as if he thought I'd already know this stuff.

He looked at me with some interest. Like one would look at child. Then started to answer, "I control the afterlife that is my realm, that is what your lineage controls. For you to awaken it, you need to begin to control that lineage. Meaning guiding your own soul to the afterlife.

The last thing I can say now is that I am the strongest, or equally the strongest with two other beings. Those two beings you humans would call life and death. The main three gods are Life or Creation, Death or Destruction, and Me, the Afterlife or Rest."

He waited for a couple seconds letting me process then finally said,"That is all I can say for now, as I've run out of time, I will see you again when you are stronger. Goodbye my Child."

Then he faded away and disappeared. 'well that's a lot to think about'.

I layed on my back and closed my eyes returning my consciousness to the outside world.

When I opened my eyes it was dark out again. 10 pm I'd say the moon was above and it was clear out.

The fire was put out but the girl was sitting next to me. She was wide awake staring at me.

"You okay." I asked, then i remembered that we don't even know each others names. Well not that I have a name.

She turned her head with a sad look on her face, and layed down next to me. Looking up at the stars. Saying, "you were in there for a long time. Almost 12 hours. How did it go."

Turning my body onto its side I told her what happened leaving out the part about me having to go into the after life to awaken for now.

The first reaction she had was, "wait so your lineage is 'rest' that means us two are both Big 3 lineages." thinking for awhile then saying, "so that's why you were able to see me. It all makes sense now."

I nodded then reached out my and said, "nice to meet you. Did you get a name when you awakened."

"my name is Velcra, just call me Vel. I have been awakened for 6 years. My lineage is death."

"You awakened at 5 or 6?" I asked confused

While looking at the way she looks. Only looking like she's 12.

"No, I awakened at 12 I just haven't grown at all since then. Since i technically had to die to awakened my signature I haven't grown since I've died."

I responded with a nod then saying, "Oh yeah for me to awkaken I have to guide my soul to the afterlife. Or atleast that's what he said to do."

Telling her how I needed to awaken hoping she would help me or give an insight.

She nodded saying that it made sense then said, " I can't really help with that, when you awaken it's kind of an intuition thing that you get from your signature." as she already figured out what I wanted to know.

"I see." I said solemnly, trying to figure out how I was supposed to do that.

we sat in silence for a while relighting the fire and staring into the distance.

I was thinking of ways to awaken and trying to feel my soul as much as I could.

After a half hour when I could finally feel my soul consistently and not lose the feeling. I started to lay down when she asked

"Did he give you a name?"

"Yes, my name is Aurelian." Giving her a smile then saying. "I'd be glad if we could work together."

laying on the ground and falling asleep without a response.

Because seeing a signature and feeling it for a while after wares the body down for someone who's not awakened.

…..

Waking in the morning Aurelian stood up off the cold ice. looking down to see the girl still sleeping and the the just passing the horizon.

he then turned away from the edge of the flat area and looked at the body of the beasts. Thinking back to the night before of how he planned to get stronger.

After approaching Aurelian sat down next to the Wolf pack leader. Then placed his hand on the chest area of the awakened monster.

Thinking back to the conversation with the Holy Ghost. Aurelian remembers him saying 'guide them, that's your job, guide them to the afterlife'

trying to feel that same sensation in the beast that he felt in himself when he was holding his soul. searching inside the wolf to find it.

Without any knowledge of how much time had passed he sat there still searching. Sweat rolling down his face freezing to his skin.

hours later, Vel was watching him while cooking her lunch when she saw a glow coming from the wolf.

Aurelian sitting there, finally felt something expose itself to his senses. It felt massive compared to his own signature. But also dark and sinister.

However, once he felt this he instinctively knew what he needed to do. Using the stretched out senses in the wolf's body he enveloped the area of darkness and pulled it with his senses back towards his own body.

When exiting the skin of the wolf, someone could see a golden glow enveloping a dark circle then entering Aurelians body.

Pulling the dark mass into his own soul area he was previously inside of. He saw a bright glow ten times brighter than the one seen outside his body envelop the wolf's soul. Instantly changing It into a golden colored soul.

That soul then transformed into a white furred wolf 3 meters tall. Which walked towards him and lowered his head to his shoulder rubbing it. Then turning around and walking into the distance.

Wondering why the animal did that and changed so much Aurelian felt his head getting dizzy and him getting pulled out of his soul signature area. Falling asleep unconscious back one the ice of the mountain.
