Chapter 949: Aftermath-1
" Should we take up arms too?" One of them asked Samuel. He too must have came to the same conclusion as Samuel.
" I don't think so, just take them away and hide in furthest room and leave everything to me." Samuel didn't want them to get hurt. Unlike him, they were novice when it came to firearms. They might be genius but everyone need experience to take up any skill. Even Samuel who was beholder of the Source, needed it.
" Linh you are incharge, just keep everyone calm and make sure they don't make any noise." He ordered again. Linh nodded and began to follow his commands. Eleven of her colleagues were a little scared but still had their wits to them but same couldn't be said about the girls, especially the three whom he rescued from Richard's room.
Samuel was sure what was going on in this place, it was Richard's 'pleasure' palace. Old goods would be discarded and send to lower managements as the little bastard cycle through them like they were piece of meat. Three seemed to be his latest 'conquests' fortunately, Samuel seemed to have gotten to him before anything could happen.
He really debated whether to end that piece of shit but soon calm down because of incoming danger. He sensed a total of twenty people who were stationed outside the warehouse to protect it. It seemed Nelson didn't have a way to contact them or they wouldn't be so daring to make their entrance. Experience tales at My Virtual Library Empire
Nonetheless, Samuel was ready. He already had the sniper he picked up earlier. The guards were searching the lower level but what they found were staff member who were shielding themselves when they heard the alarm. But it didn't stop them from getting rough with them.
There was a designated elevator for the 'guests' and a private one for Richard. Samuel knew the guards had to either take the stairs or the guest elevator. He thought for a second and began to devise another of his devious plans.
He ran to the elevator and pry open the door utilizing his sheer strength. There could a system that would disable to elevator in case the doors were open but he wasn't worried about it. He was going to tinker with the cables so that when they were high enough, he could just drop them leading them to get seriously injured.
Such a large elevator could take up to ten men so he could disable half of their attacking force in one swift move.
Channeling his fire magic again, he started heating the cables. He kept an eye on their life force to always remain steady of their location. Within few minutes he had everything ready, now he just needed to disable to security system which would hold the elevator in case of its freefall. It was a fairly easy climb. After bending few lines, he was done.
Since he checked all the bases, his plan worked perfectly only there were less passengers than he anticipated. Regardless, he was able to injure at least eight of them only raising minor suspicion. They knew it would be impossible for anyone to mess with the elevator unless there was in insider.
This prompted the leader to do a double search through the staff. They were especially stern this time leaving five of them to take the stairs and search upstairs for more answers. They didn't hear any gunshots or anyone calling for help so they changed their previous perception of the situation to less alert one.
It wouldn't be hard for their 'boss' to try something silly like this just to have a kick out of the situation after all Richard's antics were well known among his subordinates including his deviant mind. But they were fatally mistaken, it all came ahead when they reached the second floor.
A shadow flicker in the hallway and next thing they knew they saw darkness envelop their consciousness. Samuel didn't hesitate to knock them out but he still kept them alive because he didn't want to give them a easy way out.
He started moving downstairs to take care of others. Moving from room to room, he repeated his earlier actions. The guards were too busy questioning the staff to notice or even hear him approach. Samuel saw the staff shivering just by looking at his bloody expression, he didn't pay any attention to them as he was still unsure what to do with them.
He decided he would leave it to Nelson to deal with it. If they knew what was going on in this damn place, they too needed to be punished. Ignoring such heinous crimes were equally punishable in his eyes than to be the perpetrator. They might have their reasons but he knew they must be paid well to keep their mouths shut.
Such greedy bastards were not less guilty than Richard, now they had to pay for their sins.
He locked each gate carefully hearing their shouts and pleas but his heart was cold as ice. Within few minutes, he was able to subdue all twenty men without killing them, they didn't even have chance to fire their weapons!
Samuel went upstairs and told them about the coast being clear. They told him they needed to pack some things so he allowed them to take whatever they needed while he waited for the hour to pass. He gave Nelson only one hour to arrive, if he wasn't here he would take it as him not responding to his threats.
In the meantime, he checked up on Richard again and saw him slowly regaining consciousness so he tied up the bastard and gave him a few punches to knock him out again. He dragged him by again grabbing his hair as by now, the little bastard had thoroughly soiled himself to the point that he stank.
Using his fingerprint he opened private elevator and dragged him to the front porch. If Nelson tried to do anything funny, it won't be him taking the bullet but his foolish son. Right on, cue he saw a convoy enter the premise as Samuel prepared himself for the final confrontation.
