" Ah yes, my father." He leaned in before saying," That coward is the reason why I am keeping my restraint.

Sooner or later, when I take over his seat I will burn you along with your family because you humiliated me!" He almost growled in the end.

Samuel knew it was not a light threat, from the malice ill intent oozing out from his body he was sure this person had some sort of mental disorder or was only trying to entice him to do something.

Samuel was angry but he was also a master in masking his feeling, after all he was an excellent actor!

" You know I will be waiting for it." Samuel gave him a smirk. He wasn't the one to back down from a fight.

" Good, I didn't expect anything else from you. Honestly, ever since you started making rounds in the business world, every other day I would hear your name. You might be taller and more fit than me but I know that I am smarter. I never liked when people praised you extensively."

" So you are jealous that's why you want to destroy me?" Samuel asked.

" No, no. That's exactly what everyone gets the wrong impression about me. Why would I be jealous of you? I have more money and better luck with the ladies." He sneaked a glance and looked at Anastasiya standing my his side. The grimace on his face said it all, it seemed like he didn't like tattoo.

" The reason why I am so upset is something you would never understand because you don't know half the things that I know. You are like a frog in the well just like the others, what I want most was to show you the light.

But I can't do it because of few restrictions. But don't dwell on my ramblings, sooner or later you will know everything but I am afraid you will not like the outcome."

Samuel raised an eyebrow which was hidden behind his mask. Was this blondie so stupid to just confess and confirm Samuel's suspicions? He studied his face for few second trying to determine whether he was just rambling because of his mental illness or trying to act smug.

" Alright, I don't know what you are talking about. I guess I am too stupid to understand it." Samuel sighed.

" Not stupid just ignorant. I don't want to start shit tonight so this will be our goodbye. The reason why I came was to warn you, I want you to remember my face when bad things starts happening around you."

His mental alarms started blaring, his killing intent was strong when he spoke the last words especially when he put forward his hand to shake his.

Samuel knew about different ways it could lead to a disaster. There were ways to administer poison into the target's bloodstream through a simple handshake but he dispelled his worries.

Nothing could hurt him, nor deadly disease or any neurotoxins. He raised his hand to shake his only then did he saw a hunched off figure standing behind Richard.

He couldn't tell if it was a man or woman but whoever it was, looked quite young. The clothes looked fancy but from the person's demeanor, it was evident latter didn't seem comfortable in it.

The person was also carrying a small suitcase probably one of Richard's secretary. Samuel noticed this person because of the small suitcase in their hand.

Samuel shook hand with Richard and was ready to depart but he kept a close eye on the person behind him. He had an uneasy feeling about the whole thing.

" You friend? How did you get on the bad side of a Rockefeller?" Anastasiya woke him up from his thoughts.

" Hell no! Didn't you hear his threats? I humiliated him one time when he tried to hit on my plus one during a event. After that, we resolved the issue but it seems he still holds some grudge."

" It's not a simple grudge. From the way he was looking at you, he really wanted to bury you six feet under the ground."

" I can handle him." Samuel fished for his phone when he noticed something strange. Several notifications alerted him of the things that's been going on in the background.

He finally understood why Richard approached him tonight but for now, he was going to let the rats inside.

He could tell they didn't suspect anything, he could confront them after the party.

" Fine, let's go. I have few people that wants to meet you." Anastasiya started dragging him around.

Sharon, Delphina and Alexis noticed them but all he could do was softly say sorry to them. Alexis was pissed by his nonchalant demeanor. She thought herself as a fool for ever believing he was different from other rich wealthy people.

Sharon and Delphina only smiled back letting him know that they were fine with it. As his companions, he had some obligation to accompany them but it seems like they were already enjoying themselves.

His fleeting back was finally noticed by Mayra, who was puzzled by his arrival. She didn't know why he didn't come up to them. She nudged Kayla who also saw him.

" It seems like Anastasiya has her own plans."

" I don't know. He wouldn't just leave without saying anything."

" Maybe he is still unsure about facing them." Kayla looked to her side to see the five radiant ladies who were comfortably talking with other models. They were completely integrated to the setting fully out of their timid shell.

" Seeing him would only bring back bad memories. I am sure he was only giving them some space." She finished saying her piece.

" I don't know. Maybe we are looking at things differently because we are biased or because we love him too much. I know he would never try to hurt them, maybe it's best to let them go quietly." Mayra said with a thoughtful look.

" I think so too. Beside, it's his mess he should sort ot out on his own. We can be there of he needs help but after tonight, we shouldn't interfere with their thoughts."

" You are right. Lucie did told me they would be flying back after couple of days. After their debut tonight, they could follow their hearts and more importantly their desired career."

With that Mayra and Kayla decided to stop pestering them about Samuel. At first they wanted to dissolve their misunderstandings but now they know, they should stay out of it.

That meant no talks about Samuel and what he was up to. Lucie was there to support them. Their little fling would be a blip in their radar after few years!
