" I already told you he is busy. He doesn't like to be disturbed in his leisure time. You can call back in an hour or so? Better if you call him in the evening, since he hadn't slept yet." She replied while slightly raising the corner of her mouth. The meaning of her words were clear.

Alexis who was angry was stunned again. She remembered her previous conversation with Alan, there was definitely something loud playing in the background, don't tell me this bastard was with her last night when she called? The reason why he dismissed her completely was because he wanted to spend the night with her?

Just thinking about it she couldn't hold her anger. She really wanted to slap this lecherous bastard just for wasting her time! What's more he kept insulting her intelligence in this deplorable way? She really began to worry about her mission!

" Fine, ask him to call me as soon as possible. If he really dare to keep me waiting, don't blame me for being ruthless!" Her voice was abnormally cold that even the socialite felt the chill down her spine. She just wanted to play around but accidently provoked something dangerous? But after hearing the call end, she breathed a sigh of relief.

Even if she did anger some unknown figure, her work was already done. The other party wouldn't find fault with her but go after Alan instead. It wasn't her fault that he was with her, she didn't force anyone! After a while she would be gone because she felt a storm was coming in Paris! It was best for her to lay low for a while.

She hurriedly walked to the bathroom and knocked on the door to inform Alan about it. It was her best chance to get rid of this trouble.

" Honey, just now, I picked up your call. The woman on the other side was urging me to contact you and she kept scolding me. I really don't know what I did to deserve this." She said in a poor voice. She knew that she could take advantage of the instinct of men to protect his woman. If she presented herself as a victim, she was sure Alan wouldn't blame her for anything.

It was just one of the trick she picked up over the years!

Alan stood up almost feeling wronged looking at her expression. He made up his mind that he wouldn't take the abuse lying down anymore. He was sure who the other party was, other than Alexis no one dared to disrespect him so blatantly!

He was truly angry. Compared to this peerless flower in front of him who was submissive and loving, Alexis was cold and temperamental. Even under his gentlemanly charm, Alexis refused to budge, if it wasn't for his father, how could he be bullied so easily? He couldn't stand it anymore!

" Honey, just call her back. Maybe there really is something urgent. I know, I am not like her but I will not blame you to comfort her. I will be fine but you must take care of your health. Don't work to hard, I will be leaving first." The social flower was smart. She made a fatal move before putting down his phone beside him and leaving with a wry smile on her face.

She was sure looking at his changing expression that this cold and hot approach really worked wonders on these wealthy young brats. Alan on the other hand felt pain in his heart, seeing her like this he almost felt that he was about to lose his beloved! He immediately stood up tried to stop her.

" You don't need to do this. Just stay." he caught her pulling her in his weak embrace.

" Don't worry, I am here. No one could bully you!" He fully believed in her lies pulling up a masculine front while the socialite's face bloomed a wicked smile full of conspiracy and scheme. No wonder, Delphina decided to hire her for the job.

The atmosphere inside the restroom began to heat up again. Without even knowing they looked at each other, Alan knew what he wanted and the girl went along with him.

After fifteen minutes of fame, Alan wasn't able to put up with her seductive movements. He really wanted to go on but the feeling was too much for him. He kept on enduring and went for a second round despite his body screaming that it wouldn't be able to keep up with it. He had to show off and satisfy his lover or else...

After half an hour, his phone rang again. The social flower naturally showed a frightened expression. Alan who saw her expression knew without a shadow of the doubt that this was the woman that he wanted to protect.

" Hey, Alan?" He answered the call with nonchalant expression on his face. He wanted to look cool doing it, he couldn't be cowering in fear in front of his woman.

" Why haven't you called me back? Don't tell me that the bitch didn't tell you about it?" Alexis spoke in a aggrieved tone. Alan's face turned ugly hearing her say it. She was openly disrespecting the woman in his arms without any barrier. How dare she do such a thing? Other than her beauty, in his heart Alexis didn't really have any other quality!

" I know, she already told me about it. You don't need to curse her." His voice was cold. He glanced at the social flower with a sweet smile on his face but inside his heart, he wanted to take revenge!

" Fine, you have to know that tomorrow is weekend. We have to get the shares today so stop playing around and contact the Count for the meeting right now!" She persuaded him. She could feel that there was something wrong with him so she got to the point without any nonsense.

" I know, of course I know but I think you are forgetting that these are my business. Why are you trying so hard to meddle in it?"

" What? I am doing it for you? Don't you get it?" Alexis was shocked to hear him turn around like this.

" Well, even if I don't have these four percent of shares. I won't lose, so you don't have to worry about it. I have a lot of things to do in the moment so don't contact me. You can act on your own, we are just partners." He didn't say anything else just hung up the phone.

" Hello, hello?" Alexis was dumbfounded. She didn't know what changed overnight.

Her anger rose to the maximum as she smashed her phone severely on the wall causing it to fall apart.

" Ahhhh!!!! I can't stand it anymore. This idiot bastard, motherfucker! I am going crazy!" She roared loudly even her attendants were shocked to see this scene. They never saw their lady this angry. Alexis knew without Alan, she couldn't really get the shares because they wouldn't be willing to support a third party because of Bernard.

It was after all a succession war, not a event for other groups to intervene!

On the other hand, Alan felt a huge weight lift off his shoulder. He looked at his sweetheart proudly but the socialite couldn't help but sigh in her heart. Looking at this proud fool, she couldn't believe that this man was someone that Delphina was fighting against!
