Hokage Teacher: With Dimensional Teacter System

Chapter 48: Chapter 49: How Did You Know I Got First Place?

Ichitani Isamu stood behind Kimura Sagin with a grin, massaging his shoulders and trying to butter him up.

"Sagin, lend me another eighty thousand ryo, will you? I'll pay you back after payday," Isamu said in a flattering tone.

Kimura Sagin thought to himself, When someone's overly eager, it usually means trouble. He realized this "massage service" was turning out to be quite costly.

"Why are you borrowing again? Didn't I lend you money just last month?" Sagin sighed in exasperation.

"I did borrow last month, but didn't I pay you back as soon as I got my paycheck?" Isamu said with a cheeky grin.

"So you're saying you'll borrow again this month, then pay it back, leaving you broke again by next month. Does this mean you'll come back for another loan next time?" Sagin asked.

Thinking it through, he felt like he'd turned into Ichitani Isamu's walking eighty-thousand-ryo ATM.

"Uh..." Isamu was at a loss for words.

"It's not what you think, Sagin. I just recently met someone, and you know how it is; you need to put in some effort to show sincerity. I promise I won't borrow again next month," Isamu tried to explain.

"You said it yourself—don't forget," Sagin finally relented, pulling out his wallet and handing over eighty thousand ryo to Isamu.

It wasn't that he minded the money. Despite Isamu being a bit unusual when it came to relationships, he was otherwise a decent guy who always repaid his debts.

Sagin just felt that lending him money was enabling him, making Isamu sink deeper into the situation.

"Not borrowing next month? Sagin, you're overestimating him. I can already imagine his excuse," Ueda Aya said pessimistically.

She mimicked Isamu's tone and said, "Sagin, just lend me money one last time. I feel like I'll finally confess this month. I definitely won't need it next month."

Isamu: "..."

"If this were a first date, going to a decent restaurant to make a good impression would be understandable. But after two months of dating, if she really cared about you, she wouldn't refuse to eat ramen together," Aya said, trying to knock some sense into Isamu.

"And why can't you pick a better time? You always make Mikazuki-sensei cover your classes," Aya added, glancing at Mikazuki as he entered.

"She said she's not free at other times. It's either this day or whenever she's available again," Isamu said, feeling helpless.

He always felt bad troubling Mikazuki, to the point where he even considered substituting for Mikazuki's classes to make up for it. However, Mikazuki always declined his offers.

"It's fine. I don't mind. Teaching students also helps me improve," Mikazuki said with a smile as he walked to his desk.

"Mikazuki-sensei is too kind. With a personality like his, it's so easy for him to be taken advantage of," Isamu thought guiltily.

Feeling indebted, Isamu busied himself making tea and saying nice things to Mikazuki until it was time for him to leave the office, head home, and prepare for his date.

"I wish Ichitani Isamu were the taijutsu teacher for Class 1-A," Mikazuki thought.

If that were the case, Isamu's frequent absences would mean Mikazuki would essentially be the taijutsu teacher anyway.

Directly applying to the Third Hokage to take over as Class 1-A's taijutsu instructor wasn't plausible. No one would find it normal for a teacher to enthusiastically overload their schedule.

That kind of behavior would raise questions about his motives. Helping out when asked was one thing; actively volunteering for more work was another.

"I need to address this from the perspective of the students' dissatisfaction and the current taijutsu instructor's teaching quality," Mikazuki decided.

Strength was the most important aspect of ninja school. If he could make the students and the leadership realize that the current taijutsu instructor was hindering their growth, it would be easy to take over the role.

Mikazuki spent his free time practicing calligraphy until it was almost time for class.

When he entered Class 2-B's classroom, the students were already accustomed to his presence.

Mikazuki's weekly lessons had become a regular occurrence, and the students now treated him as their official instructor.

"Sensei, I..."

Obito, as usual, was late. Mikazuki didn't say anything and simply gestured for him to take a seat and listen to the lesson.

"That troublesome Isamu-sensei," Obito muttered under his breath, annoyed that Ichitani Isamu's absences always seemed to create chaos.

"Was it helping an elderly person again?" Rin asked.

"Not today. I lost track of time at the stationery store while picking out pens," Obito admitted honestly.

"Why didn't you wait until after school? Lunch breaks are so short. Don't tell me you skipped lunch," Rin said, puzzled.

"Skipping one meal is no big deal. I'll eat more tonight. Besides, I've been to a lot of shops recently, and today's store seemed the best," Obito replied.

"Honestly, nothing should be more important than eating. I've got some snacks—I'll share them with you after class," Rin said, shaking her head.

Obito nodded, then focused on Mikazuki's lecture.

Forty minutes flew by, and when the bell rang, Mikazuki dismissed the class. Rin handed Obito some snacks.

"Obito, how many people did you help today..." one of Obito's classmates teased.

"How did you know I got first place in the Youth Ninjutsu Tournament this weekend?" Obito retorted, catching them off guard.

His sudden response left the classmate speechless, feeling as if they had swallowed a lemon. Eight thousand ryo in prize money—how enviable!

Not far away, Uchiha Tetsuha also remained silent.

He still remembered the Grand Fireball Jutsu Obito had used in the tournament. Initially, Tetsuha thought he might have a chance to win next time if he prepared a better technique like the Great Dragon Fire Jutsu.

But now, after seeing Obito dominate the Youth Ninjutsu Tournament, his confidence was shaken.

Seeing everyone's reactions, Obito beamed with pride.

During every recess, he walked around, asking, "How did you know I got first place?" fully maximizing his victory's impact.

[Lecture Completed]

Evaluation: AReward: Water Release: Hidden Mist Jutsu

Seeing the lecture reward, Mikazuki nodded in satisfaction. Although not a high-level jutsu, the Hidden Mist Jutsu was highly practical.

The mist it generated wasn't ordinary—it could obscure the Sharingan's vision. When used by Mei Terumi, it could even disrupt Madara Uchiha's Rinnegan.

In the early stages of the ninja world, before overpowered techniques came into play, it was an excellent skill.

After school, Mikazuki headed straight to the southern forest.

When he arrived, Shisui was still training.

Following Mikazuki's advice, Shisui now attended school using a shadow clone while his main body trained under Mikazuki's shadow clone.

Mikazuki didn't have to wait long before Might Guy showed up.

However, to his surprise, even fifteen minutes later, Obito still hadn't arrived.

Though Obito rarely traveled to the forest with Guy, as he often walked partway with Rin, being more than fifteen minutes late was unusual.

Mikazuki decided it was time for a talk. Training tardiness was not a habit to cultivate.

"Sorry, Mikazuki-sensei, I'm late," Obito said, running up with a long box in his hands.
