HINATA IS BROKEN

Chapter 40: Chapter 40: Graduation

[Sarutobi Hiruzen used the Telescope Technique to locate Uzumaki Naruto at his home upon returning to his office. He sighed in relief, assured of Naruto's safety.]

The Telescope Technique, which relies on sensing the target's chakra, left no room for doubt that he was observing the real Naruto. Over the past few days, Naruto had been cautious to avoid any unnecessary attention. He split several Shadow Clones and sent them to the outskirts of Konoha Village, where they continued practicing the Big Spiral Lunyu.

However, Naruto had a more nuanced plan. He wasn't solely focused on perfecting the ninjutsu; instead, he aimed to improve his chakra control. Each Shadow Clone gathered and compressed chakra while gradually releasing it, enhancing his precision and control.

Meanwhile, the real Naruto decided to spend his final days in the classroom, blending in with his peers.

A New Day, A Strange Conversation

"Hey, brat," the booming voice of the Nine Tails echoed in Naruto's mind. "Tomorrow's your graduation day, right?"

"Yup!" Naruto replied with confidence. "I've got this, big fox."

The Nine Tails let out a low growl, skeptical. "Don't get ahead of yourself. Just because you've managed to stay in school doesn't mean you'll graduate. They might not let you leave the village even if you pass. After all, your mother and the First Hokage's wife were kept on a tight leash, too."

Naruto frowned at the thought. Would all his efforts be wasted if he were confined to the village?

"Big fox," Naruto said, breaking the silence. "You mentioned that my father spent three years developing the Rasengan, right?"

"What of it?" the Nine Tails responded, intrigued.

Naruto grinned, extending his hand to reveal a spinning orb of chakra. "Is this it?"

The Nine Tails blinked, genuinely taken aback. "You... managed to do it?"

"Yup! My Shadow Clones have been practicing the Big Spiral Lunyu non-stop, focusing on chakra control. While experimenting, one of them accidentally created this orb. I just followed that feeling, refined it, and voilà! The Rasengan!" Naruto's grin widened. "What do you think? Still think I'm a no-talent slacker?"

The Nine Tails huffed, but deep down, it was impressed. From the Big Spiral Lunyu to mastering the Rasengan, Naruto's progress was nothing short of extraordinary.

Graduation Day

The classroom buzzed with nervous energy as Iruka Umino stood at the front, clipboard in hand. "Today is your graduation assessment," he announced. "The test is simple: perform the Clone Technique. If you pass, you'll receive your forehead protector and officially become a Genin."

Students were called one by one to the adjacent classroom. Each emerged with varying expressions, some beaming with pride and others dejected.

When Naruto's name was called, he walked in confidently. His Clone Technique had improved significantly thanks to his rigorous chakra control training. In no time, he aced the test and received his forehead protector.

By the time the exams ended, Naruto was ready to head home. However, as he stepped outside, he noticed a crowd of parents waiting to pick up their children. Upon seeing Naruto with his forehead protector, their faces twisted with fear and disdain.

"How could this happen? That child has become a ninja?" one whispered.

"It's dangerous! What if he loses control of that monster inside him?" another murmured.

"Let's just take our kids and leave," someone else said, glancing around nervously.

Naruto sighed. Their whispers were nothing new, but it still stung. After so many years, the villagers hadn't changed at all. Perhaps, Naruto thought, it was time to show them just how wrong they were.

A World of Difference

In the alternate timeline, the Naruto clad in the black frame had already mastered his techniques long before the graduation exam. His progress had rendered Mizuki's plan to manipulate him futile. Naruto didn't need validation or stolen scrolls to prove his worth. In this timeline, Mizuki's schemes never had a chance.

The audience watching from the ninja world felt the stark contrast between the two Narutos. The black-framed Naruto had severed bonds with Iruka and forged his own path, while the white-framed Naruto still clung to the idea of being accepted by others.

Reactions Across the Ninja World

The viewers were in awe of Naruto's rapid growth and his ability to master complex techniques like the Rasengan.

Yamanaka Ino exclaimed, "Naruto has learned so many ninjutsu before even graduating? That's insane!"

Akimichi Chōji nodded in agreement. "With the Rasengan and that Big Spiral Lunyu, he's more advanced than a Genin!"

Nara Shikamaru, ever the voice of reason, added, "Well, Naruto has been training for seven years. It's not really fair to compare him to us."

Inuzuka Kiba scoffed. "Still, it's crazy how far ahead he is."

Meanwhile, Namikaze Minato reflected on his son's progress. "Naruto's success with the Rasengan isn't surprising. The principles of the Big Spiral Lunyu and the Rasengan are similar. His training with Shadow Clones has clearly paid off."

The Parents' Fear and Naruto's Resolve

As Naruto walked away from the judgmental stares of the villagers, he felt a mix of frustration and determination. Their fear and ignorance no longer held him back. If anything, it fueled his resolve to grow stronger and prove himself, not just to them but to the entire world.

"Someday," Naruto thought to himself, "they'll see the real me—not the monster they think I am."
