HIGH SCHOOL DIARIES (A Tale Of Love And Deception)

Chapter 132: Chapter 132 Epilogue (Hell bound hearts)

FOUR WEEKS LATER

It was a day Scotland would never forget. The capital of Edinburgh was alive with joy and celebration, the streets overflowing with people singing praises of their prince, Lamia Alexandria. The man who had restored light to the earth had returned, and his homecoming was nothing short of divine. The air was thick with excitement and happiness, but none felt it more profoundly than Catherine. For weeks, her heart had been plagued with worry that Lamia might not return to her, that he would miss the birth of their children. Yet, here he was, proving her fears wrong.

This was no ordinary day. It marked the beginning of a new era. Lamia had abolished the outdated laws that once condemned love like theirs, such as homosexuality. For the first time in Scotland's history, two weddings—united in love and defiance of tradition—would take place on the same day. Lamia would marry both Catherine and Hadrain, a bold testament to the love they shared and the unity they had fought so hard to preserve.

Thanks to Hadrain and Lamia heroic activities, they were able to prove to the people of Scotland; that they had their interest in mind and won't abandon them. And this made the people to ship the two gorgeous souls together, eventually solidifying their union.

Meanwhile, The royal couple, Charles and Maxandra, had returned to Scotland alongside Lamia, their presence electrifying the kingdom. News of King Charles's survival spread like wildfire, igniting the hearts of the people, especially Queen Fiona who was wild with excitement. Lamia's reunion with his parents had been nothing short of emotional. He had fallen into his father's arms, sobbing uncontrollably as if years of suppressed grief poured out all at once. Then, turning to his mother, he knelt at her feet, overwhelmed by the miracle of having his family back.

"Stand, my son," Maxandra had whispered, her voice thick with tears. "You have carried the weight of the world. Let us carry you now."

With their parents by their side, Catherine and Hadrain began preparing for the most important day of their lives. Maxandra helped Catherine into her wedding gown, a stunning piece adorned with intricate lace and delicate pearls that shimmered like dew under the morning light. Her hands trembled as she placed a jeweled tiara on Catherine's head.

"You are radiant, my dear," Maxandra said, her voice warm and soothing. "Lamia will be speechless when he sees you."

Catherine blushed, her excitement mingled with nervousness. "Do you think... Do you think I'll make him happy?"

Maxandra cupped her face gently. "You already do. You always have, thanks for taking good care of my son when I am not around."

Catherine smiled her brunnet hair shinning in the bright candle light which illuminated the bride's chambers.

" It's my pleasure mother-in-law, and I hope we can live peacefully together." Maxandra was content finally her son can have the happy ending he deserves.

Meanwhile, Charles was with Hadrain, helping him into his pristine white suit. The fabric was embroidered with silver threads that caught the light, giving him an almost celestial appearance. Charles adjusted the cuffs of Hadrain's sleeves, his expression one of pride and approval.

"You look perfect, son," Charles said firmly. "Today, you and Lamia make history."

Hadrain swallowed hard, his voice barely above a whisper. "Thank you... for accepting me."

Charles placed a hand on his shoulder. "You make Lamia happy. That is all any father could ask for."

The wedding venue was a sight to behold. The ceremony was held in the grand cathedral at the heart of Edinburgh, its towering spires reaching for the heavens. Inside, the space was transformed into a dreamscape of white roses, cascading crystals, and soft candlelight. The air was filled with the enchanting melody of a cello, its hauntingly beautiful notes setting the stage for an unforgettable event.

Lamia stood at the altar, dressed in an immaculate white suit that seemed to glow in the ethereal light. His appearance had changed after his resurrection. His skin was luminous, as if kissed by the heavens themselves. His red hair cascaded down his back in waves, longer and richer than before, but it was his piercing midnight-blue eyes that remained the same—unchanging, eternal, and full of love.

The doors opened, and all eyes turned as the procession began. Maxandra appeared first, her arm linked with Catherine's. Catherine moved with an elegance that took everyone's breath away, her gown trailing behind her like a river of starlight. Her cheeks were flushed, her eyes shimmering with unshed tears as she walked toward the man she loved.

Behind them, Charles entered with Hadrain, who walked with quiet confidence. His gaze was fixed on Lamia, a smile playing at the corners of his lips. Together, they approached the altar, their love and determination visible in every step.

When Catherine reached Lamia, she placed her hands in his, her voice barely audible as she whispered, "You came back to me."

"I always will," Lamia replied, his voice steady but full of emotion.

Hadrain stepped forward, taking Lamia's other hand. "We're here. Bounded in heart in and mind Forever."

The vows exchanged were raw and heartfelt, the words resonating deeply with everyone present. Their love was a beacon, a testament to the power of unity and acceptance.

But as the final blessing was given, an unsettling energy rippled through the air. Callum, standing at the back of the hall, watched the joyous occasion with a growing rage. His parents had been killed, and he blamed Lamia for the loss. In his grief and desperation, he had sold his soul to a demon, gaining unspeakable power. Now, his anger boiled over.

"You dare to celebrate after what you've done?" Callum's voice rang out, cutting through the happiness like a knife.

Before anyone could react, he screamed, a guttural cry of anguish and fury. The hall exploded in a blinding flash of light and deafening sound. Guests screamed, chaos erupting as the once-glorious venue was reduced to rubble.

Lamia shielded Catherine, Maxandra, Charles and Hadrain with his huge blazing light, his eyes blazing with fury as he rose to face Callum.

"What have you done, Callum?" Lamia demanded, his voice trembling with a mix of anger and heartbreak.

Callum's face twisted into a malicious grin. "I've ensured you'll never know peace. This is only the beginning."

"Callum, stop this!" Catherine cried, tears streaming down her face. "This isn't the way."

"Silence!" Callum roared, his newfound power sending shockwaves through the air. "You took everything from me. Now I'll take everything from you."

Lamia stepped forward, his midnight-blue eyes burning with resolve. "You want to fight me? Fine. But leave them out of this."

Callum eyes darkened and his pupil's shone a deep shade of darkness and the remaining remnant of the building exploded, everything in it.
