Chapter 146: Chapter 53: The Hyperion
The Hyperion served as the Valkyries' transportation to battlefields, once being the exclusive sky warship of the immeasurable Himeko. It possessed considerable offensive capabilities itself.
The Hyperion measured 901.2 feet from bow to stern, with a deck length of 584.2 feet, and could accommodate 50 to 200 passengers.
Powered by nuclear fusion, it boasted six reactors, propelled through space via a Leonov antigravity engine.
It was armed with six 17-inch orbital cannons, six 10.6-inch orbital cannons, ten close-quarters weapon systems, Nexus-20 energy output ports, and a 429.8-foot solar blade.
This was merely a fraction of its capabilities; there were numerous auxiliary systems as well. In short... the Hyperion was far more than just a transport vehicle.
Though it paled in comparison to the ultimate Honkai-class weapon, the Moonlit Throne, it was still an excellent strategic asset.
And... compared to being a Valkyrie, Rozaliya much preferred the role of ship captain.
However... the price tag of 800,000 Love Coins, exclusive to the Arc Dream currency, left Rozaliya feeling somewhat bewildered.
"Ai-chan, how do I acquire these exclusive coins?" Rozaliya asked with anticipation. If it was simple or not too difficult, that would be manageable. But if it was hard to obtain, then the Hyperion would merely serve as an attractive display piece, leaving her covetous.
"There are three ways to get Ai-chan's exclusive coins," Ai-chan promptly explained. "First, by consuming one hundred crystals for each coin. Second, by unlocking a Valkyrie and receiving one hundred coins. The main method, though, is... by completing the Ai-chan series tasks."
Hearing this, Rozaliya noted, "One hundred crystals just for one coin? That means ten thousand crystals for one hundred coins! This time was an exception; typically, it's incredibly hard to gather ten thousand crystals in a single dungeon world..."
"If we go by the first two acquisition methods... even unlocking all Valkyries and everything else in a single world would barely yield more than 150 coins. Eight hundred thousand? Even unlocking all Valkyries in every world wouldn't cover a tenth of that number."
Rozaliya did some quick calculations and realized that obtaining the Hyperion through the first two methods was nothing short of a pipe dream.
That left her with no choice but to explore the potential rewards from the so-called Ai-chan quest series.
"How many exclusive coins can I earn from the Ai-chan quest series?" she asked urgently. "Are there many tasks?"
"That's hard to say; it's random," Ai-chan replied vaguely. "It could be anywhere from tens of thousands to just one coin."
"This is your treasure trove shop, isn't it?" Rozaliya pointed out, feeling a bit skeptical. "Aren't you the one issuing these coins?"
"Nope... Boss needs to have faith in Ai-chan! All this follows the rules set up beforehand. Ai-chan can't just create stuff out of thin air; there has to be an equal exchange."
Rozaliya fell silent, considering this logic.
"Well, I'll believe you this once..." she muttered. Upon reflection, the principle of equivalent exchange made sense.
Her only hope now was that the rewards from the Ai-chan quests would provide enough exclusive coins!
Even without the Hyperion, the other rewards were still incredibly enticing—such as Honkai Crystals and other rare items.
As Rozaliya and Ai-chan chatted idly, they felt Liliya suddenly stir in their arms. Looking down, they saw she was already awake.
"Good morning, Rozaliya!"
Liliya crawled out of Rozaliya's embrace, rubbed her big eyes, and gave an expressionless greeting.
Her behavior was incredibly adorable, making them want to pat her head.
And that's exactly what Rozaliya did.
"Liliya, you're awake. But it's not morning anymore; it'll be noon soon." Rozaliya stroked Liliya's long, pale blue hair, her moon-like, large eyes smiling warmly at her.
"Don't touch my head!" Liliya immediately swatted away Rozaliya's hand from her hair.
"Hmm~ hmm~, just a little touch. It's not like you'll get any taller."
"..."
"The Oath of Judah on your head looks so beautiful," Liliya finally said, glancing at the top of Rozaliya's head after a moment of silence.
"Eh? Oath of Judah?" Confused, Rozaliya instinctively reached up to her own head, but found nothing there.
"Where'd the Jud..." Before she could finish, "Ouch!"
In the instant Rozaliya looked up, Liliya swiftly pinched her adorable cheeks with both hands.
"Liliya!!"
-
"It's already dawn..."
Due to Rozaliya and Liliya's antics, Princess Dalisaya slowly woke up. Gazing at the sun in the sky, she hadn't gotten enough sleep and felt a bit weak. "You're awake. Here, have something to eat and we'll head back soon," Rozaliya said, offering her some of the rations she carried.
"Thank you!" Princess Dalisaya accepted the food, sat up, and expressed her gratitude.
"No problem..."
-
After eating some food, Rozaliya took Liliya and Princess Dalisaya and began to walk back.
Just as they exited the forest at the foot of the volcano, Rozaliya immediately saw Cellinia and the others, looking worriedly in their direction.
"Cellinia!"
Rozaliya's group hurried over.
"Lady Rozaliya, Lady Liliya, I'm so relieved you're safe!" Seeing Rozaliya and Liliya unharmed, along with a blonde human girl, Cellinia finally let out a sigh of relief. She had spent last night and all day worrying about them.
"I told you everything would be fine, no need to fret," Rozaliya said, looking at the worried Cellinia. Her heart warmed, but she maintained a nonchalant expression.
"Yes, Lady Rozaliya! And this is... the princess?" Cellinia nodded, then curiously looked at Dalisaya standing next to Rozaliya.
The noble blonde hair and demeanor certainly made her appear like a princess.
"That's right! And I also have this..." Rozaliya took out a red dragon's tooth and handed it to Cellinia.
"This is...a dragon's tooth?" Cellinia took the red dragon's fang, once again showing great surprise.
Although Rozaliya and Liliya had previously defeated the even rarer zombie dragon, that dragon had left nothing behind—its dragon crystal had already been used.
Now, they were left with a tooth from the red dragon.
"Yes, and our current task is to escort Princess Dalisaya back to her home."
Rozaliya didn't really care about the title of dragon slayer. In this world, being called a dragon slayer was a great honor people desired, but to Rozaliya, receiving 10 crystals would have been more appealing.
"Oh right! Lady Rozaliya, I heard that the red dragon's lair was full of treasure. Is there any truth to that?" Cellinia looked curiously at Rozaliya. Red dragons loved shiny things, so they must have collected a lot of gold coins, probably.
"Go ahead and guess," Rozaliya said, giving Cellinia a playful look without revealing any details.
