"Billy, why are you already back?"

"I've run into some problems, so I came back to get something."

The Perfumers around him didn't even bother giving him a second glance when they saw him walking through.

In the end, I focused on controlling Billy to move through this outpost of the Perfumers.

This was where he had received that mission of his according to his memories, so this was where I was trying to get information from. I needed information about the specifics of his mission after all.

The mission that Billy had been given was to raise the beasts and send them rampaging in this area.

I needed to know if this was targeted at us or not…

That meant that he was an Advanced Perfumer.

It meant that he was skilled enough that he would be able to become the head of this branch.

For him to address Billy personally, it was clear that the relationship between the two of them wasn't simple. This just went to further confirm my idea that Billy had a special position among the Perfumers.

"I left something behind and I came to get it."

The Advanced Perfumer narrowed his eyes slightly to look at Billy before shaking his head and saying, "It seems like you still haven't learned after all this time. I would have thought that you would have learned a thing or two about keeping your things with you, but you still forgot."

It seemed that this Billy had the reputation for things like this, which was why no one found it suspicious that he was back.

Though the fact that the Advanced Perfumer didn't get angry was enough to show his status.

After a while, he said, "Alright, go and get your thing and then follow me. There's something that I want to talk to you about."

I couldn't help feeling a bit uncomfortable hearing this, but it didn't seem like I would be able to get out of this. After all, it would have raised suspicions if I were to cause a scene now and that was the last thing that I could do while infiltrating this place.

So I had no choice but to go to Billy's room and grab a few random things.

During this time, I made sure to find out the name of the Advanced Perfumer.

It was strange that Billy didn't know his name in the first place, but that could have just been because his soul had been shattered by Faust. Because it was shattered, it was possible that he would have forgotten many things.

After grabbing these random things, he went to the office of the Advanced Perfumer.

When he came in, the Advanced Perfumer wasn't surprised as he gestured to the seat in front of him and said, "Sit, there's something that I need to show you."

The moment that I heard this, I couldn't help knit my brows.

However, it was a good thing that this didn't mean that Billy knitted his brows.

After sitting down, the Advanced Perfumer took out a report for me to read.

I looked at it carefully and was surprised by what was written on it.

After all, it was a report on our town.

It seemed to have quite a few details about the town on it, some of which shouldn't have been known by outsiders. However, that was more than enough to show the kind of information network that the Perfumers had.

This was the kind of thing that was hard to establish in the wilderness, but they had done it.

As expected of an organization that had been established in the wilderness for a long time.

The amount of power that they wielded wasn't something that could be matched by others.

But I was confused why he was showing me this report in the first place.

"What is this?" I asked in the end.

"It's information that wasn't on your mission report. I wanted you to know about it." The Advanced Perfumer calmly said.

"What do you want me to do with this?" I slowly asked in the end.

Hearing this, the Advanced Perfumer shook his head before saying, "I know that you're arrogant as the heir of the Morin Line, but don't think that you can do whatever you want. Even if you're skilled, this is a place that even headquarters has advised that we don't touch."

I couldn't help being surprised when I heard this.

After all, it seemed like they had never intended to do anything to our town in the first place…
