Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method

Chapter 198: More Like Burnt Chicken

Rakir roared.

[Blazing Tyrant Domain]

The entire main hall ignited in an instant, transforming into a hall of flame.

Garion stood in the middle of this burning hall, but instead of fear, he laughed.

"So this is your domain, huh? Although it was quite hot, it smelled like burnt chicken. Did you roast a chicken and forget about it?"

Rakir's vein popped on his forehead.

"You arrogant brat. I'll show you REAL flame!"

He lifted both arms and roared.

[Blazing Tyrant Armament]

Flames began to cover his body, forming a suit of blazing hot armor.

Behind him, dozens of flaming weapons formed and hovered in the air.

Garion's eyes lit up.

"Ohhh… close-combat type? That's interesting. I was starting to miss punching things."

Rakir snapped.

"SHUT UP AND DIE!"

He grabbed the flaming axe and charged toward Garion.

Garion stepped aside casually.

The axe slammed into the ground...

BOOOOOOM!

The floor exploded, fire shooting upward like a geyser.

Garion stared at the impact with wide eyes.

"Damn… not just hot, but strong too. Nice swing. No wonder you're the Grand Elder."

Rakir trembled with rage.

"STOP TALKING!"

Garion held out a hand, like trying to calm him down.

"I'm serious! I came here expecting disappointment, but you're actually not bad. Better than Kalzor for sure."

Rakir's face turned purple from anger.

"You dare compare ME with that weakling?!"

He threw his axe aside, grabbed a flaming spear, and rushed forward again.

His armor pulsed, increasing his speed.

Garion raised an eyebrow.

"Oho? Weapon switching? Trying to impress me?"

Rakir screamed.

"DIIIIEEE!"

The flaming spear shot toward Garion's face like a lightning bolt.

Garion tilted his head.

The spear stabbed into the wall behind him, melting it instantly.

Garion's grin widened as he flicked his nose casually.

"Not bad, old man. Your aim is terrible, though."

Rakir's eyes shook.

Garion chuckled and spread his arms slightly, letting his excitement rise.

"Alright… enough warm-up."

Rakir tensed.

Garion's foot tapped the ground lightly.

CRACK.

A small shockwave spread out.

Rakir felt his domain tremble for the first time.

Garion smirked.

"Show me, Grand Elder. Is this all your flames can do?"

Rakir roared and swung both swords down.

Garion stepped aside.

The flaming swords tore into the floor, exploding into a blast of heat and fire.

Rakir's eyes widened. "You…!"

Garion wagged a finger at him.

"Just like the others. You all rely too much on mana, not enough on your body or technique."

Rakir snarled and swung again, this time faster.

Garion ducked under the first slash.

He leaned back from the second.

Then he walked to the side as if strolling through the market.

Rakir's face twisted in humiliation.

"STOP DODGING!"

Garion smiled.

"Alright. Then I'll show you how I use mana."

He clenched his fist.

[Gravity Control]

FWUMP!

Garion now could control his body weight to be light so his speed increased or heavy to increase his power.

Rakir suddenly sensed danger, but it was too late.

Garion vanished, and before Rakir could react...

Garion appeared right in front of him and punched him in the gut.

BOOOOM!!

Rakir folded like paper and flew across the hall, smashing into a burning pillar.

Rakir coughed blood, his eyes shaking.

"H-How… How can you move that fast…?!"

Garion flexed his wrist.

"It's simple. I just made my body lighter than a feather with my power."

Rakir was shocked hearing that.

"And also..."

Garion smirked as he suddenly appeared behind him.

"Making my body lighter is not the only thing I can do."

Rakir felt a chill crawl up his spine.

"W-wait!"

Garion lifted his leg and brought down a heavy stomp, empowered by his heavy body.

BAM!

The ground grated beneath Rakir as he was smashed into the floor.

Garion exhaled.

"And that... is the result of making my body heavier. It increased my power. It's great, right?"

Rakir coughed, his armor flickering as cracks spread like a spiderweb.

"You… monster…"

Garion crouched beside him.

"A monster? No. I'm just someone who trains properly."

Rakir tried to swing a sword again, but Garion flicked his finger against Rakir's wrist.

CRACK!

The sword flew out of his hand.

Rakir screamed.

Garion stood up and brushed dust from his shoulder.

"Rakir... You're strong... far stronger than Agram or Kalzor."

He cracked his knuckles and smirked. d

"But still... against me? You need more than raw strength to defeat me, and without techniques... you are just trash."

Rakir's rage snapped for the final time.

His entire body ignited with violent flames.

"DIE! [Blazing Tyrant Breaker]!!!"

A massive flaming fist formed above him, ready to crush everything.

Garion looked up and smiled.

"Oh? A finishing move? And it's a fist of all things..."

He smirked, pulling back his arm and filling it with as much mana as he could.

"Then let me show you how to do a REAL punch!"

Rakir screamed, bringing the giant flaming fist down.

Garion punched upward.

DOOOOOOM!!

The collision shook the clan grounds.

Rakir's armor broke apart, and he was blasted into the far wall so hard the entire hall nearly collapsed.

Garion lowered his fist, shaking out his knuckles before glancing at Rakir's limp body half-buried in the rubble.

"Your flame punch was pretty good…"

He tilted his head, smirking.

"…but too bad your opponent is me."

Rakir didn't answer, as his eyes were rolled back. He was completely unconscious.

Garion clicked his tongue.

"Already unconscious? Tch… disappointing."

He rolled his shoulders, letting the heat fade from his skin, then turned his gaze toward the distant town.

His lips curled.

"Well… since the grand elder is taken care of, let's see how my gym is doing."

He stepped out of the collapsing hall, ignoring the falling rubble behind him.

He jumped and let the gravity twist, pulling him forward as he shot across the clan grounds like a comet.

"Rynar, Rynor…"

A faint grin tugged at his mouth as he angled himself downward, heading straight for the center of Revalis City.

"Let's see if you can protect the gym…"
