Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method

Chapter 110: The Reward You Wish You Didn’t Earn

Garion smirked, clapping his hands once to get everyone's attention.

"Alright, now that all of you understand our real cultivation path... It's time for me to reward you with something."

The disciples perked up instantly. Whispers spread among them.

"A reward?"

"Finally, something good?"

"For what?"

Garion grinned. "They were rewards for defeating those mercenaries who dared to invade this island."

The disciples straightened proudly, and the twins, Rynar and Rynor, grinned at each other.

Gario then retrieved two small vials from the system's storage. One was glowing faint blue, and the other red.

He turned toward the twins and threw the vials to them. "These are your rewards."

The twins caught them, looking down at the strange liquids swirling inside them.

Rynor frowned. "Uh... Master, are you sure these are the rewards?"

Rynar squinted suspiciously. "They looked quite a bit dangerous."

A few disciples began whispering behind them as they somehow realised the same scene from before.

"Wait, isn't that the same scene when he gave us the Demonic Creatine?"

"Oh no… not again."

Rynor's face paled. "Master, this isn't like that shake again, right?"

Garion chuckled. "Of course not."

Then, after a short pause, he grinned widely. "Worse."

The entire hall went silent.

"...What?" Rynar said weakly.

Garion smiled brightly. "Don't worry. It'll be good for you. Now, drink."

The twins looked at each other helplessly.

Rynor narrowed his eyes. "If we die, I'm haunting you, Master."

Rynar nodded, thinking the same. "Better be ready, Master."

Garion only smiled and nodded after hearing this. "No problem... now, drink!"

Resigned, the twins opened the vials. A foul, sour smell instantly filled the air.

The disciples nearby stepped back, covering their noses.

Rynor gagged. "It smells like rotten lemons mixed with metal."

Rynar winced. "Why is it fizzing?"

Garion waved his hand off, urging them. "Less talking. More drinking."

Both twins sighed and raised the vials. "Bottoms up."

They drank, and the reaction was instant. Their faces twisted in horror as they choked and coughed violently.

"Gah...! What the hell is this!?"

"It's salty! And sour! It burns!"

They fell to their knees, clutching their throats.

Their tongues cramped, eyes watered, and every breath came out as a wheeze.

Dahlia covered her mouth, trying not to laugh. "Oh wow, that looks painful."

Clara wince. "Painful? It sounds illegal."

Garion smirked, unfazed. "Good. That means it's working."

Rynar managed to look up, his face red and sweaty. "Master! You're insane!"

Rynor groaned beside him. "I think my body and soul are melting..."

Garion crouched beside them, smiling proudly.

"Don't talk too much now! Just feel it. You can sense the change inside you now, right?"

The twins blinked through the tears, breathing heavily.

At first, all they could focus on was the terrible taste, but then they felt something stirring deep.

Their muscles tensed, mana veins glowing faintly under their skin.

The sensation was strange, like every part of their body was being pulled, stretched, and reshaped.

Rynor's eyes widened. "It feels... weird. Like my blood's boiling, but also… excited?"

Garion nodded. "Exactly. That's your body rejoicing. Your mana cells are being forced to evolve."

Suddenly, both twins collapsed completely on the floor with a thud. Their bodies twitched slightly, heat radiating from their skin.

"Master!" Dahlia rushed forward. "What's happening to them?"

Garion stopped her with his hand.

"Relax. This is just a side effect of it. Their perfect mana pool cells are forcibly splitting and transforming the rest of their cells at high speed."

Arden's eyes widened. "Wait... so it's like... mana injection to accelerate their realm?"

Garion smirked, nodded. "Precisely. The Limit Break Serum directly triggers cell transformation. It's painful, yes, but the results are worth it."

Clara frowned. "So they'll be fine… right?"

Garion shrugged. "Probably."

"Probably?" several disciples shouted at once.

Garion grinned wider, clearly enjoying their panic. "Relax. My drinks have never failed before, have they?"

Rynar and Rynor, both trembling and drenched in sweat, somehow managed to glare at him.

Rynor groaned weakly. "Master... you can call this not failing?"

Garion chuckled. "If you're still talking, you're still fine."

The other disciples stepped back nervously as the twins groaned again.

Garion's smirk faded slightly as he turned toward the system.

'System. What stage will they reach after drinking those serums?'

---

[System Notification]

[Both Limit Break Serums have been remixed and re-optimized for compatibility with subjects: Rynar and Rynor.]

[Estimated Result: Advancement to Completion Stage of the Mana Cells Refinement Realm.]

---

Garion blinked, eyebrows raising slightly.

'Wait... straight to Completion Stage? You mean they're skipping everything in between?'

The System didn't reply.

Garion rubbed his chin, thinking seriously, knowing what the system meant.

'So you're saying the serums in my storage weren't fully completed versions… and you just modified them on the spot for them?'

Again, silence, making him grin faintly.

'So you can adjust the formula automatically. Mixing, balancing, optimising, depending on who drinks it, huh? Interesting.'

Rynor groaned again. "Master, I think I'm dying..."

Rynar coughed beside him. "If this is the reward, I shouldn't have taken it."

Garion raised a brow. "You're not dying. Your bodies are just adapting."

"Adapting?!" Rynor shouted weakly. "It feels like my insides are trying to start a rebellion!"

Garion shrugged. "All good progress comes with a little pain."

Rynor wheezed. "A little?! Master, I can't feel my legs!"

"Don't worry," Garion said. "When you wake up, you'll feel better than ever."

The disciples still looked doubtful. Dahlia folded her arms. "You sure they're not gonna die before that happens?"

Garion's grin widened. "If they die, I'll be impressed. It means the serum worked too well."

"Master!" several disciples shouted at once.

But before anyone could say more, the twins' glowing veins suddenly flared brighter.

A powerful surge of energy burst out of them, forcing everyone to step back.

Garion's eyes gleamed. "There it is."

The twins groaned one last time before their bodies went completely still.

The glow faded slowly, replaced by a faint pulsing light beneath their skin.

Everyone held their breath.

Then Rynar suddenly gasped and sat up, his eyes glowing faint red for a second before returning to normal.

Rynor followed right after, breathing heavily, sweat dripping from his forehead.

Rynor blinked. "What… just happened?"

Rynar clenched his fists. "I feel… strong. Really strong."

Garion smiled proudly. "Congratulations. You two just broke through to the Completion Stage of the first realm."

The entire hall went silent. "What!?"
