The Woods

Pishka's POV

I inhaled the fresh air I have been longing for, for years but when I opened my eyes I am met with trees, I know I love trees and climbing them. But right now I am just LOST!

And I don't know how to climb pine trees... On my first stroll out of the house and I was lost, ugh, I turn and walk back in the direction I thought I came but it seemed like I got lost even more. I take out my phone to try and track my way home from where I was, I had bars luckily

Then suddenly there was a growling sound nearby like a wild dog was growling as a warning sign. But from a distance - thankfully - I know the cause, when I looked around, was no one or thing around. Seeing a clearing I didn't hesitate to turn tail and sprint for like 10 minutes straight til I was finally out of the woods

Hearing and seeing nothing chasing after me, I stopped to catch my breath then a shiver went up my spine. It felt like I was being watched by someone - if not something in my case. I didn't bother turning even though I am quite curious. Choosing the safe path I begin to sprint again like a mad person until I got home breathless and collapsed on the steps in front of the house

°Curse my unfitness, I just hope it didn't follow me home°

I pull my keys out and fumble a bit to find the house keys eventually finding them with shaking hands. I lock the door as soon as I entered and put the keys on the keyholder while wrist-walking all the way upstairs to my room. Entering my room and quickly shutting the door and locking it, I head to the bathroom to take a long

I lay in a warm bubble bath to calm down my nerves. After getting undressed, I then threw my clothes in my washing basket and went into the bathroom in my underwear. The bath helped a lot, I got out of the bathroom, refreshed with a towel around my body and one on my head while walking to my closet. I got dressed into something more comfortable this time, a white baseball shirt that went until my mid-thigh with a matching pair of ankle boots

I lay on the bed staring at the ceiling, listening to the sounds of nature, til the thought, of checking my social media on my phone to keep me busy, pops up. I get up after a while, walking over to the pile of clothes in the basket

I search through the clothes that I just wore just recently when I was running in the woods, only to find them empty no phone or headphones. Panicking I start tossing my clothes into the air only to feel something hard hit my head while was looking down luckily

Pishka: OUCH!! That hurt!!!

I look for the culprit who caused me to feel some pain, as I search the floor for a hard object I spot my phone beside me, I grab it and hug it like it were my long-lost lover. Forgetting about the fact that it was probably the object that hit me on my head - hard!

Pishka: But then where are my headphones? Crap, please don't tell me I dropped them in the woods while running...

I sigh as I stand up while picking up the clothes and then put them back into my washing basket - sitting next to the bathroom's entrance - after closing the lead of the washing basket I hear a knock on the front door downstairs

I hurry down the stairs and open the door after checking through the peephole, there standing before me is a gorgeous guy in a black suit, his lean and has this dangerous aura around him, though his looks say otherwise.

Pishka: Hello, how can I help you?

Stranger???: Sleep

I look at him quizzically for a second and the next thing know I'm bathed in blackness. After that, I don't know what was happening right now, while in darkness in my slumber I saw a bright blue color - neon blue and something said that I should follow it so I did but what I saw I wasn't expecting it

There I could see the most beautiful wolf in my life, it had a jet black coat with shockingly bright blue eyes to go with it and a long fluffy-looking tail. It was as if it was swimming like we were under water and once it took note of me it swam away from me

I followed it not wanting to be alone but after a while it stopped then I also stopped and approached it very slowly, the beautiful beast looked up at me and growled, I quickly put my hands up backing away as quick as I came - which was slow if you wanna know. I fall on my backside on an unknown surface but I could see anything underneath me when I looked down

I quickly look up and lock eyes with the black beauty of a creature after a while I start crying when a sudden thought of my mother surfaces. The tears fall down my face even though we are in a water-like place

°Why are her images in my head now of all times?°

°Why did she have to leave me so soon?°

°Did she not love me enough? Or is this punishment for killing-?°

°It must be it...°

I silently sob until I feel something rub against my head, I look up to see the wolf looking at me with eyes as sad as mine, I don't know why or how but I hug it with both arms. I cry my fill then let go, it looks at me sympathetically, and as I wipe my eyes and nose clean, I glare at it with red eyes.

Pishka: I don't need your sympathy, it's pathetic you know.

It seems to have smiled a heartwarming wolf like smile

Wolf(Selene): You truly are special my child and I will give you the best, now close your eyes and return to your world. You will have to be strong and ready for what awaits you in the present and future, little one.

I hug her one last time, seeing the resemblance of my mother in her wolf appearance - it might be my imagination but whatever. I close my eyes tightly then upon opening them I am met with...
