Heavenly tale

As the crowd regained its composure under the Second Elder's command, a faint, desperate cry echoed from the far side of the camp.

A person came running to the second elder, his face looked pale, fully drenched in sweat.

"Fourth Miss is missing! She's not in the camp!" the person shouted while approaching to the second elder.

The calm demeanour of the second elder trembled."What did you say?"

"We have searched her everywhere, couldn't find her. Sh...she is missing." The person reported with heavy breathe.

Chatter could be heard within the crowd which grew louder and louder.

Second elder raised his hand in the air, speaking in a thunderous voice: "Silence." At this moment, he looked very tense.

Under the elder's command, the crowd remained silent, and their gaze lowered, showcasing the difference between authority.

Wu zian felt cold running down his spine as Second elder stared at him. He felt as if those eyes were swallowing him.

"Scatter everywhere in the woods and search for Xao Er." After delivering this command second elder disappeared from his spot.

Many people feared to search for fourth miss, under the young light of moon, they didn't have the courage to scatter under such conditions.

Among them, a young boy left the camp without a sense of life entering the darkness of the forest. The coldness of the dagger reminded of the cruel past, In this situation, Each step echoed with questions why did he walk? Why did he stray? 

On top of a tree second elder stood observing the forest, he whispered in a low voice."Spiritual sense." Diverting his pupils to every corner.

Vanishing from the tree, he reappeared behind his target, seizing the person's collar with an iron grip.

The person was immediately pulled with an unyielding force, forcefully pinning him on the ground. Placing the tip of sword on top of the person's chest, Second elder asked with a tone full of rage."Where is Xao Er?"

The person beneath smiled. Blood flowed from his mouth and nostrils, eyes fully red, staring at his predator.

"Xao ling why..why are you this easy to fool?" laughter of provocation of the person reached Xao Ling's ear.

"If only you weren't born, then right now, the Xao family would have been celebrating."

"Generational genius of Xao family such a joke." Xao Ling listened to everything quietly.

Xao Ling didn't hesitate for even a single moment to lose his superior demeanour without any shame he licked the finger.

Meanwhile, in another corner of the forest, blood surged out from a young body staining the ground with blood.

The young body belonged to none other than Wu zian there was a deep claw mark on his chest caused by the three-tailed beast in front of him.

The beast in front of him had no fur on its body, two sharp teeth, and three tails.

The beast growled and charged towards Wu zian with its small body It pounced at Wu zian multiple times with such agility that Wu zian could only defend himself.

The beast stopped for a moment, it licked its paws and brushed its tail on its head.

Wu zian breathed heavily, looking at his chest, he thought."At this rate, I might die here." he thought even more deeply about his current situation.

Three tailed beast started to attack once again giving Wu zian no time to think after a short while it stopped and rested in a taunting manner.

Wu zian scratched his hair. Looking at the beast, he made a deduction.

Three tailed beast launched another wave of attacks, growling furiously as it extended its claws to their limit.

The furious growling turned into a painful cry. this time, Wu Zian successfully attacked the limb. With this attack, the beast lost its agility. Even worse, it couldn't even walk properly now.

Wu zian's lips curled up into smile as he grabbed the beast by its neck under his grasp the beast struggled to breathe from an advantageous position the beast fell into despair trying to bite Wu zian's hand.

Wu zian stabbed his dagger inside the beast's mouth, brutally slicing the toung into two halves, completely soaking his hand in blood.

The beast let out a final cry before collapsing in Wu Zian's hands, its life drained by heavy blood loss and suffocation.

Wu zian didn't feel any pity for the beast because if he hadn't killed it, then right now, he would be lying dead on the ground under the beast's paw, being eaten flesh by flesh.

He was able to kill the beast because it attacked in a pattern which Wu zian figured out.

He looked at the cliff above and closed his eyes, remembering the past."Those three vultures certainly came from this direction."

At the top of the cliff, Xao Er was being tied with a rock at her side. A middle-aged man stood touching her chin."Dream come true, never ever thought I could see you in this state."

The middle-aged man dragged Xao Er's hair, spitting on her face."You and your wicked father's existence have always tormented me and my daughter, always snatching every opportunity from our hand."

Xao Er replied with a weak voice."We never snatched anything, you are the one who failed to earn those opportunities."

The person laughed crazily along with him, other people standing on the cliff joined in

The laughter came to an end when a person appeared.
