Heavenly Restriction User of the Gojo Clan: I Refuse to Be Cut in Half

Chapter 357: Trace of Star Plasma

From his perspective, since Ogi had stirred up trouble in the General Directorate, it meant Ogi knew more about the whereabouts of the Star Plasma Vessel.

Under his sharp gaze, every move Ogi made was laid bare.

Naobito was visibly surprised and was about to speak, but Toji raised his hand to stop him.

"No need. I understand."

Toji had already gotten the confirmation he wanted from Ogi's reaction.

Though Ogi was usually a calculating man, his emotions slipped when caught off guard.

That alone confirmed Toji's suspicions.

"Since the Zenin clan has located the Star Plasma Vessel, then protect it well. It's right not to leak any information."

"I came only to confirm its safety."

Now that Toji had verified the truth, he had no further intentions. The Zenin clan would do everything in their power to guard the vessel, if only to fulfill Tengen's mission. There was nothing more to say.

Though none of these men posed any threat to him personally, within the world of jujutsu they were still top-tier. As long as they did not encounter Special Grade cursed spirits, Special Grade sorcerers, or the Gojo brothers, the Star Plasma Vessel should be secure.

Satoshi's instructions were simple—confirm its existence and ensure its safety. He had never said Toji needed to take it into his own hands.

"Alright. I'll be going now."

Toji stood up immediately, ready to leave. Since he had his answer, there was no reason to waste time.

"Toji, do you really think the Zenin clan is a place you can just come and go as you please? Showing such disrespect to the family, what exactly are you trying to do!"

Ogi's face flushed red with anger.

His loss of composure had already allowed Toji to learn about the Star Plasma Vessel. That humiliation festered within him. And now, Toji's dismissive attitude enraged him further.

Unable to contain his resentment, Ogi lashed out, completely ignoring the massive gap in strength between them.

But Toji gave him no chance.

As Ogi's words left his mouth, Jinichi only saw Toji lift his right foot lightly and take a step forward. His figure blurred into an afterimage, and in the next instant, Toji appeared behind Ogi.

With one hand still in his pocket, Toji swung his left arm casually, striking Ogi's back and sending him crashing forward. He didn't care in the slightest that Ogi was an elder of the clan.

Toji had never respected him. Nine years ago, when Ogi tried to seize Katen Kyōkotsu from his hands, he had already given him a harsh lesson.

And now, this fool still dared to treat him with arrogance.

Then I'll remind him again what it means to be crushed by Katen Kyōkotsu.

Ogi reached for the hilt of his Zanpakutō, but before he could release it, he muttered the name of its Shikai technique.

"Kageoni."

Shadows surged, but in an instant, Katen Kyōkotsu's power overwhelmed him completely.

Just as Toji was about to push further, Naobito and Jinichi both stepped in front of Ogi.

Though Toji's strength was overwhelming, the combined effort of two Grade 1 sorcerers, Naobito and Jinichi, was enough to barely block him—so long as he didn't unleash his full power.

"Toji, I thought your temper would have improved after all these years."

"You're already a father. Why are you still so impatient?"

Naobito positioned himself squarely between Toji and Ogi, forcing a halt to the clash.

Seeing this, Toji lazily sheathed Katen Kyōkotsu and leaned back, his tone dripping with disdain.

"As expected, this family disgusts me. If not for my mission, I would never have bothered coming here."

"Cling to your crumbling legacy and continue rotting in it."

With that, Toji turned and walked out of the meeting room.

Naobito and Jinichi fell silent, unsure how to respond.

In the world of jujutsu, the Three Great Families still held sway. Yet anyone with eyes could see the truth. With the rise of Satoru and Satoshi, the Zenin and Kamo clans had no future.

The General Directorate was under Zenin and Kamo control only because the Gojo clan had yet to act.

Once Satoru or Satoshi took full leadership, the Gojo clan's foreign policy would not remain so restrained.

Young blood always burned hotter than the old.

Even though Naobito had prepared himself countless times, watching Toji's retreating figure still filled him with regret.

If Toji had not left, perhaps the Zenin clan would not have sunk to the level of the Kamo.

Even without the Ten Shadows Technique, with Toji, even the twin of the Gojo clan would not dismiss them so easily.

Gojo Satoshi was always more perceptive. He had seen Toji's strength nine years ago.

Thinking of the people gathered now under Satoshi, even Naobito felt a trace of unease.

Was the Zenin and Kamo alliance truly meaningful in the face of such power?

At least Tengen and the Time Vessel Association were not aligned with the Gojo clan. Otherwise, the Zenin and Kamo clans would already be finished.

Naobito let out a quiet sigh. Just as Toji said, the Star Plasma Vessel must be protected.

But in the end, it was only the Time Vessel Association.

To him, they were nothing more than fanatics. The foundation of the Zenin clan was more than enough to deal with them.
