Chapter 359.Inevitable outcome
Swooosshhh!
Tyrax Tantamount cleaved through a creature with terrifying precision and strength.
His affinity was special – he could turn his body into a very hardened material called adamantine.
This made him a walking weapon.
He only needed his fists and his body as a weapon.
Bammmmm!
The creature plummeted and died.
He didn't stop.
He was, after all, unstoppable.
He moved from one spawned creature to another, each one he passed, falling into the embrace of death.
His adamantine calves stepped on the head of a centipede-like creature, causing its head to splash apart.
He was akin to a reaper of death.
His blows were straightforward, efficient, and powerful.
The audience observed in awe.
So this was the Student Council President — an extremely powerful Ascendant-level lifeform.
Tyrax, oblivious to reactions of the outside world, checked the individual rankings.
He had been very pissed.
The rankings had been all he had been thinking about.
Although Kailen Darkhaven himself was nowhere to be found on it, his society members were currently dominating the rankings.
"This guy has not even made a personal move, but his society members have already dominated the rankings, despite the number of creatures we have managed to kill?"
The Student Council and himself had been killing as many spawned creatures as they could — and yet, only he and the other society presidents were sitting among the top rankers in this Society Wars, with their society members having been completely left in the dust by the members and leaders of the Sword Tribunal Society.
If individual rankings were to be used, he'd say himself and the other society presidents were doing very well and were ahead of the members of the Sword Tribunal Society. However, considering the aspect of average society performance, the Sword Tribunal Society's members were leaving their members in the dust.
The totalled ranking of the members of the Sword Tribunal Society had left the other societies in the dust and placed them at the top rankings of the Society Wars!
This was simply inconceivable!
How was Kailen Darkhaven doing it, without even intervening personally?
What was he trying to pull?
Tyrax's brows creased.
"This bastard has to die soon, alongside the rest of his society members."
He checked his map.
"In just a couple of days, we'd be able to regroup with the other society presidents, and we can get rid of him."
His eyes flashed with ruthlessness.
"And when that happens, all their points..."

Bryce Darkhaven held the edge of his sword with uncanny precision.
Water snaked around him elegantly, then latched onto his figure, transforming into some sort of armor.
"Aqua Bringer."
He muttered under the gaze of the spectators and some society members who were dealing with the small fry, waiting until he finished the horde commander so that the structure of the creatures would fall into chaos — for them to finish this as soon as possible.
Swissshhh!
Large water blades shot out of the sword towards different directions incessantly.
The water blades made contact with the horde commander, who returned his attacks with his own.
A couple of rocks headed his direction.
However, he didn't move.
With uncanny mastery, he directed several water streams towards the rocks.
The water streams assumed some sort of hand, grabbing the rocks and hurtling them back towards the creature incessantly.
The monstrosity did not have the space to breathe or even evade the attacks due to how Bryce was attacking it.
The creature didn't even notice, in this state, that three large water spears were looming above it.
Whoooosshhhh!
In the blink of an eye, the water spears plummeted towards the creature with uncanny speed.
On contact with the creature, the water spears cleaved through the gaps in the crab-like creature's body with precision.
The creature's green blood flowed endlessly as it screeched its last and died.
Bryce revealed a calm expression, as if this was within his expectations.
He had utilized the incessant rock attacks to distract the creature, then attacked from above using the water spears to strike through its shell and get rid of it.
Unlike the other society presidents who were busy checking the rankings, he didn't think it was necessary.
To him, they'd all die — and he'd have their credits.
Because, with the plan in place, it was the inevitable outcome.
He couldn't wait to come into contact with Kailen Darkhaven and the other society presidents.
After getting rid of Kailen Darkhaven, they were next.

In another region of the secret realm — teeming with magma, warm fog, and rocky terrains — several individuals could be seen engaged in different battles with spawned creatures, affinities flashing here and there.
Screams of battle reverberated through the air, and attacks that made even the void tremble clashed into each other.
Somewhere on the battlefield, a streak of orange light weaved through the air like a meteorite covered in flames.
The streak of orange light clashed with a towering gorilla-like monstrosity several times in the span of a few moments.
The clashes between the gorilla and the streak of light could make even the skin of the spectators tingle.
Each clash was brutal, leaving shockwaves spreading outward, making even the void coil in pain.
The nature of the attacks revealed the intention of the two adversaries.
Each exchange was an attempt to end the other's life.
Finally, the streak of light halted its movement — only to reveal a poised, determined-looking feminine figure: Xyra Ashton, clad in a black battlesuit.
The gorilla-like monstrosity bellowed as blue flames flickered around its figure.
The creature's eyes narrowed with intelligence.
This opponent had to be taken seriously.
The creature decided in a moment.
It prepared and shot out several balls of blue flames towards Xyra.
Xyra didn't stand and wait for the attack to reach her before she did something about it.
She knew these attacks were catastrophic if she didn't act.
Fortunately, she had prepared adequately for situations like this.
The Titan spun her hammer in a brutal, domineering manner, then muttered,
"Shield of Aegis."
The hammer pulsed with iridescent light.
Then, a shield of flames, activated from the runes in the hammer, appeared around her figure.
However, she didn't stop spinning the hammer in that domineering, brutal way.
The more she spun the hammer, the more some sort of runes became visible on it.
Everyone watching the Society Wars knew that she was preparing something.
Vhoooiishhhhh!
The blue flames clashed into the Shield of Aegis.
Yet, contrary to the damage the gorilla-looking creature expected its attack to make, Xyra merely smirked.
The Shield of Aegis and the attack of the creature remained in a brawl — a stalemate — for a moment, until Xyra suddenly stopped spinning the hammer, which was now glowing with runes bright enough to make others narrow their eyes slightly.
Then, she quickly directed the hammer towards the gorilla-looking creature.
"Reverse Aegis — 5x Amplification."
The attack of the gorilla, which was engaged in a clash with the Shield of Aegis just a moment ago, suddenly halted — and then…
Under a multitude of gazes…
Booooomm!
It blasted back towards the gorilla-like creature with cataclysmic proportions — lethal, too fast.
Gorraaaahhhhh!
The gorilla-like creature met it with flame-imbued fists, packed with all its strength.
But that was a bad idea...
The moment the attacks met, something extremely anticlimactic happened.
The gorilla simply… vanished.
It perished.
