Haunted Duke’s Daughter

Chapter 19

When Lilia says so, she tries to pass beside the boy. But before Lilia came through, the boy offered me something. When I saw it, it was a little handkerchief.

“What?”

“The… He seemed to be crying… Use it if you like.”

Lilia as well as Sakura seemed surprised by this. No way, really, do you not know about Lilia?

“You… you really don’t know me?

When I asked him directly, the boy just tilted his neck.

“Have we met somewhere?

Lilia, hearing it, was slightly shuddered, and her grin was accidentally spilled.

Think a little, say.

“I’m Lilia. Nice to meet you.”

“Oh, uh… Ray, it’s”

Apparently, Lilia guessed that she didn’t name the family, and Ray also didn’t name the family.

“Ray. I’ll remember that. Then I… What?”

Lilia stopped immediately as she tried to walk to the exit. Ray grabs Lilia’s sleeve softly. Ray told the boss that Lilia was leaning her neck.

“The… Why don’t we just talk a little bit? I’m a little lonely being alone…”

Then I wish I could go back to my class, but that wouldn’t even be what Lilia would say. Lilia herself hasn’t been able to go back to class yet, so it’s not a bad idea to hang out with her. Lilia concluded so, nodding that she understood.

What Ray showed me was a small private room connected from the library. There is a table and a set of chairs, and there are a number of chairs in the corner of the room.

Lilia’s never been in this room before, but I’ve heard of these places. There are ten rooms lined up in the hallway leading from the library in rooms reserved for people who want to do joint research and study alone. I have heard of a room that requires a pre-application in order to use it, but since last year it has always been used. I guess that’s this room.

The table was lined with books of reference and some sort of material. Ray, placing the book he apparently brought when he came back here in the corner of the table, took only one of the stacked chairs and placed it in front of Lilia.

“Go ahead.”

“Thanks”

Sit there thanking you. Ray sat face-to-face with that Lilia.

– Sounds like you’re really studying here.

To Sakura’s voice, Lilia turned her gaze toward the material lining the table. It’s the same thing Lilia used a year ago. Apparently, only one thing is younger than Lilia. As Lilia reached for the reference and opened inside, Ray said as he panicked.

“Shh, sorry, I haven’t cleaned up…! It’ll be over soon!

“Fine, you don’t have to worry about it. Are you studying here alone?

“Yes…… Yes, sir.”

Ray answers with his floating hips down. Lilia sneaks her gaze at the paper in front of Ray as she turns the reference book. The notebook was spreading and the problem was written full of blanks.

“Is there something you don’t understand?

Uh, and Ray leaked a dumb voice, and I guess he soon realized he was being seen with a notebook that he had left open, and he started cleaning up in a hurry.

“Excuse me. Excuse me! Something ugly…!

“Nothing’s fine. More than that, what do you think?

“Eh…… Yes, there’s something I don’t know…”

Let me see it.

And naturally took the note Ray was trying to clean up. I’m going to look inside and see where the blanks are. I see, and I immediately closed my notebook.

“I’ll tell you”

“Huh?”

“You’ll be free. I’ll tell you. Open the reference.”

Ray opened his mouth to Lilia’s words as she returned her notes. I’m just a little irritated by the way it looks and slap my desk with my fingertips.

“Hurry up.”

“Yes!

Ray in a hurry to open the reference. Moving next to Ray, Lilia looked at the problem and started commenting.

– Yeah. What is this?

No one answered Sakura’s crunch.

“Let’s keep it that way today”

When Lilia said so and closed the reference, Ray sighed of relief. Lilia narrowed her eyes to the look of it and just tried to open her mouth,

– Because Lilia’s bad for forcing me to study without a break for six hours, right? Don’t get mad at me, okay?

– Oh…… It’s been so long.

– Yeah. That’s right. I felt sorry for Ray…. I didn’t say anything because it seemed fun.

Sakura was right, Lilia was having a little fun. Ray, in particular, remembers things well and once taught, he soon remembers them. That’s why I enjoy teaching so much. However, when I look at Ray poking around tightly, I reflect that it seemed like it was too much.

“I’m sorry, Ray”

When Lilia said so, Ray raised his face with momentum.

“No! It was very easy to understand! Thanks!

And I keep my head down a lot of momentum. Lilia replied, yes, without hesitation, but the edge of her mouth had been lifted naturally.

– Haha. Lilia, you look happy.

– That can’t be true.

Then it’s time for me to go.

“Yes, thank you”

Leaving Ray bowing his head again, Lilia left the room quietly.

In the library, there were still few figures of people. Apparently, the class was just over. I’m headed straight back to the exit so I don’t worry about Alisa.

“Mr. Lilia!

Called down along the way, Lilia stopped her leg. Looking back, Ray stood.

“What’s going on?

“Um… I wish I had time, could you come back?

Lilia rounds her eyes just a little. I’ll think about Ray’s intentions, but I can’t think of any. Why is this boy saying this?

– Sometimes Lilia is so stupid.

– What? Are you selling fights?

– I don’t mean to. Just, yeah. Nothing.

There are signs that Sakura will laugh bitterly. I didn’t even know what that meant, and Lilia still just leaned her neck.

“Right. I’ll come when I feel like it.”

I can’t promise because I don’t know my intentions. But I said that for no reason to say no.

“Yes! I’ll be waiting for you”

Ray had a very happy smile.
