Harry Potter: Using science to be IMMORTAL

The first magical radar was actually established not far from the Magic Research Institute, on a seemingly inconspicuous piece of land surrounded by construction scaffolding.

To ensure timely and stable magical frequency modulation, "Athena" was connected to the radar via magical metal conductors instead of other wireless methods.

Given Athena's high environmental requirements as a supercomputer, which made it practically immovable, and the signal transmission distance limitation of magical metal conductors, the radar could only be set up within a few kilometers of the Institute. Moreover, as the first prototype of a magical radar, it naturally required extensive experimentation and adjustments, thus being located near the Institute was convenient.

The lake area, on the other hand, was selected for future radar installations.

After completing the transfer of her Horcrux, Lucas immediately took over the control rights of the radar, positioning over two hundred wizards as "batteries" to input magical power into the radar's energy components.

This magical power, modulated by a super-large modem controlled by Lucas, then amplified by the radar, was not used to emit signals outward but directed into a small satellite receiver-like device.

"Let's test it first, and while we're at it, let's get rid of that mental coordinate in my head," Murphy suggested.

"Okay," Lucas replied as she positioned the device towards Murphy's head, moving closer, "Sorry, Professor, I might need to get a bit closer."

As she said this, she pressed her forehead against Murphy's and closed her eyes.

Simultaneously, the miniature transmitter emitted a magical vibration, its frequency increasing until it approached that of microwaves.

A small point in Murphy's head slowly became apparent to Lucas.

"I found it."

She concentrated the microwaves into a beam, aiming at the high-energy frequency spot.

In an instant, its intensity surged, and Murphy felt as if something was taken from his mind.

"The magical fluctuation of that coordinate has disappeared..." Lucas said, pulling back slightly from Murphy's forehead, "How do you feel?"

"Not bad, seems quite relaxing," Murphy said, standing up.

They had been quite close, noses nearly touching.

Upon reflection, Murphy realized the use of the receiver would have sufficed for detecting the coordinate; what was the purpose of pressing foreheads?

But, deciding not to dwell on it, he said, "Test completed, let's go finish off that thing."

Returning to the glass enclosure, Lucas replaced the transmitter with a needle-like device, inserting it into the corridor holding the Holy Mother.

The Holy Mother's magical level had already decayed to half.

"Let's start," Murphy instructed.

A magical ray shot from the needle's tip, striking the pendant.

In Murphy's magical vision, the ray remained orange-yellow, but as Lucas modulated it, the color deepened rapidly from orange-yellow to blue-green, then to purple-black, eventually matching the ultraviolet intensity of the pendant.

Its intensity became extremely high, though the flow of magic was not large—the combined high-frequency magic from two low-frequency sources was far less than the sum of the low frequencies, consistent with the principle of spectral frequency combination.

Despite this, the Holy Mother felt threatened, "Impossible, this world should not produce such magic!"

"Impossible?" Murphy laughed.

He enjoyed seeing the look of a world view collapsing on his enemies' faces.

"You're using something akin to the 'Fidelius Charm' to block magical levels, but such a charm is too 'advanced' and requires more basic, primitive rules for support."

"In the real world, physical rules are the most fundamental, the most basic rules. I can circumvent high-level charm restrictions by directly using objects created under physical rules."

This is like setting up a firewall to block certain addresses based on underlying network protocols. Network protocols are more fundamental rule structures, and 'blocking address interactions' is a high-level command built on these rules.

If someone wanted to block a certain IP pool to prevent its access to the network, they would just need to assign a device an IP outside that pool, automatically invalidating the strategy for that device.

"The 'Fidelius Charm' blocks magic, primarily targeting wizards, and during the creation of this high-frequency magical ray by Murphy, there was no wizard exceeding the current realm's limitations. 

Therefore, the existence of this super-strong magical ray does not conflict with the charm blocking magic.

In fact, the Holy Mother is the best proof of this. If this world truly couldn't host higher levels of magic, the Holy Mother's magical level should be at most the same as Murphy's or Dumbledore's.

Since it possesses higher levels of magic, it indicates that the blocking rule has loopholes.

This also supports the hypothesis that magic is a higher privilege built on basic physical rules.

As the ray continued to change, Lucas, forehead sweating, made extremely delicate adjustments to match the frequency of the ray with the Holy Mother and to be in opposite phase, thereby directly neutralizing the opponent's magic like Murphy did with the fairy Brin.

Soon after the modulation was complete, the Holy Mother's magical level began to plummet, not because it was fleeing.

"You don't understand what you're doing," the Holy Mother said. "Humans, fragile as infants, should continue

 to stay in their cradles, and I am your protector. You're killing your protectors, your mother."

"Mother?" Murphy was startled, then scoffed, "The mother of humanity?"

"Just because of you?!"

"Do you even know what humanity is?"

"Modern Homo sapiens emerged about 10,000 years ago, late Homo sapiens about 50,000 years ago, Homo sapiens species about 250,000 years ago, and the humanity you speak of has existed for at least over two million years."

"Two million years! Countless individuals fought against beasts, cold, hunger, climate, and other human tribes..."

"Countless died, and countless tribes were eliminated in the long competition over two million years. Only our ancestors, who conquered beasts with stones, defeated the cold with fire, overcame hunger with farming and gathering, outsmarted other tribes with wisdom and strategies, and survived climate changes with migrations over hundreds of thousands of years..."

"In millions of years, they faced extinction several times. At the toughest times, there were less than two thousand individuals, struggling to survive over a hundred thousand years."

"But they survived and even exterminated all 16 human species under the genus Homo except for modern Homo sapiens, making us the sole referent of the term 'humanity.'"

"Once rivals, now fossils and ashes, only we stand alone."

"This is the history of humanity."

"This is what humanity truly is!"

"Millions of years of evolution and natural selection gave rise to the most magnificent species this planet has ever seen."

"And you dare to claim yourself as the mother of such a species?"

"Who the hell do you think you are?"

As if responding to Murphy's will, the magical interference ray doubled in strength. The pendant began to melt under the intense magical onslaught.

Streams of smoke, like that from incomplete combustion, wafted from the pendant, and dreadful screams echoed from within.

It seemed to finally feel pain.

"You, you cannot kill me..." the voice from the pendant twisted, "I am omnipresent, endless..."

"Crack..." the pendant's glass shattered.

With a whoosh, the small portrait within burned to ashes instantly.

"Oaths must..."

The Holy Mother's voice vanished.

Lucas's body slumped, and Murphy quickly supported her, "How are you?"

She shook her head, breathing heavily, and it took a while for her face to regain some color, "Professor, it seems like it's not completely dead yet..."

Murphy had the same feeling.

But, "No worries. Once we find the magical power source and build magical radars everywhere, we'll turn over the earth's surface. With its magical information, it can't escape."
