Chapter 16: Dumbledore's Blood Pressure Soars
"Are these two cats your pets?" Old Dengtou, a senior educator, asked warmly. "I have to say, this is the most beautiful cat I have ever seen."
Old Dengtou understood that when educating students, one cannot be overly forceful; otherwise, they might develop a rebellious attitude. The correct approach is to connect with students first. He chose to start the conversation with Kyle's two magical animals to instill the right ideas in him.
"Professor, their name is Ibrahimovic!" Kyle began, pointing to the two Pokémon on his shoulders. "This one is called Sun Eevee, and that one is called Moon Eevee."
"Ibrahimovic? That's a really good name," Old Dengtou commented, intrigued. "Since they are named after the sun and the moon, they must have some unique abilities?"
"Of course," Kyle replied. "Sun Eevee can perceive weather changes and people's hearts, while Moon Eevee is extra energetic at night."
"Sounds great!" Old Dengtou exclaimed. "Actually, I also have a pet, a phoenix named Fox, whom I treat like family. I have to introduce you one day!"
"But Professor, I've been very distressed..." Kyle frowned, displaying a troubled expression.
"What's wrong? Can you tell me if it's convenient?"
"Well, because they all have these special abilities, they are usually very naughty. I'm always worried that they will someday do something distressing to someone else. You know, there are many little wizards at Hogwarts."
Hearing this, Dumbledore couldn't help but smile. He saw another spark in Kyle's personality: a deep concern for his classmates. His concerns were rooted in his caring nature, which countered the rumors surrounding him.
"The environment can affect a person's growth," Dumbledore mused. "Living in a place like Knockturn Alley might force people to act in self-defense. But in a friendly environment like Hogwarts, look at Kyle! Dubbed the 'Blood Demon' by the Ministry of Magic, yet from the first day at school, he was concerned for his classmates. This is really good news!"
"It's okay," Dumbledore reassured him gently. "Such a cute Ibrahimovic, I believe everyone will like them, even if there are some pranks, it doesn't hurt. Like the Gryffindor twins—while all the professors find them troublesome, everyone still loves them. I think Ibrahimovic is the same."
Relieved by Dumbledore's reassurance, Kyle agreed, "Professor, I think you are right! Sun Eevee and Moon Eevee just wanted to play a joke on Mr. Filch, and he actually fainted directly!"
"Professor Dumbledore, the great white wizard, said it all: no one would care about Eevee's jokes!"
"I suspect Mr. Filch is trying to blackmail me!" Kyle looked angry. "This is simply too much!"
"Well, what you said..." Old Deng subconsciously nodded, then suddenly realized something seemed wrong and was a mess.
Filch passed out? Are you sure you're joking? I'm afraid he was knocked out, right? Now he wanted to slap himself. God damn the great White Wizard Dumbledore once said... What a tall hat!
"Of course, Professor, I also think Sun Eevee and Moon Eevee have gone too far! Why don't you punish them?" It's a bit suspenseful to see him get away with it. "Sometimes it's too late; you need to rest and get enough sleep so that you can better prepare for tomorrow's class. If you want, after class tomorrow, you can come to me before dinner." Old Dengtou didn't want to give Kyle any ideological education tonight. Thoughts were disjointed.
