Chapter 14: Chapter 12: Homework and Malfoy
Our classes continued. At lunchtime, I sat down with Hermione for Ron's disagreement. Seriously, in Slytherin I have Malfoy and in Gryffindor I have my brother, I have no peace at either table, I think I'd rather be at the Ravenclaw table.
The meal was...quiet...there are some dissatisfied people in Gryffindor, but my brothers are quite famous, so I had a good base, although Percy has whispered to me that I should stop coming. I guess he doesn't want to damage his reputation as a prefect ... politics.
After lunch something interesting happened, the te-tea-teacher Q-Qui-Quirrell came to see me. For a moment I thought the dark lord had his eyes on me, but it seems I'm wrong.
"M-Mr. We-Weasley, why did you w-withdraw from my c-class yesterday?" Professor Quirrell stuttered
Who knew he would care about something like that? I figured he'd be more worried about the guy on the back of his head sucking the life out of him than a student skipping class.
"It's because of the garlic, you don't see my looks, clearly I have something of a vampire in me" I said sarcastically "your plan worked, I don't think any vampire wants to go there, and neither do I. I don't plan to go back to that class"
"B-but that couldn't b-be..." the professor objected as if with fear.
"Because not only can you give me homework and hope that I pass the exams, I don't plan to go back, you have nothing to teach me"
"I-I can't ca-can..." he said shakily, but inside him, he was furious with what I said. 'Like I can't teach you anything damn kid' he though.
"Then I'll make a complaint to Headmaster Dumbledore to have the garlic cleaned in your classroom" I didn't use any of my auras to pressure him, I didn't want to draw the other guy's attention.
"W-with the s-spell of..."
"It's not just not smelling it, what if my health was affected? If I have any vampiric heritage, it would clearly affect me. None of us would want me to have an accident, right? I'll have the garlic removed from the classroom, it's at Hogwarts anyway, the vampires won't be able to catch you, you don't need to have them by your side"
"I-i-it's-it's not-okay, it's not n-necessary, just turn in your homework on t-t-time and pass the ex-exams..." he said waving his hands.
With that said, I left without giving him time to change his mind. I knew that he couldn't remove the garlic, that was his way of covering up the rotten smell of the parasite behind his head. If for some reason he managed to get it removed, then it could be done obvious, and he would never risk that.
Possibly, he could think of other methods, which is why I left before he thought of anything. Having to act like the fearful and timid Professor Quirrell and with the fear that Voldemort will punish him for failing him and exposing him, it would not be worth his effort with what that I was able to get away with it and avoid wasting time in his class. I would try it if only he taught properly.
After that it was a normal day. The afternoon came and this time I left my clone in the library and I went to the Slytherin common room to see if I could find some fellow first years.
I entered the common room and found several students of different years, no matter where I go I will always attract attention and I will have everyone's eyes fixed on me for a moment.
I walked until I found some of my classmates, it was some of the first year girls, Pansy, Millicent, Daphne and Tracey. They were working on a table near one of the windows.
When I got closer, I could see how they seemed to be doing their herbology homework. They noticed me and Pansy frowned at me, I kept walking until I was a few steps away from them, to say quickly and very energetically.
"Raise your hand whoever has the Defense Against the Dark Arts task to lend me"
"I have…" Tracey Davis shouted excitedly, raising her hand, only to realize to whom she had responded.
She seems to be quite a simple girl. She is a pure blood like everyone else, but unlike the others she is not from an old family, so her customs are not so marked by class difference.
Maybe because she is just a girl who just entered school, or she was naive, she responded to my call unintentionally with a smile as if she had been congratulated. The moment she noticed the gazes of her classmates and the person she responded to, she quickly lowered her hand and fell silent. I walked to the side of her and tried to put a smile on her.
"Thank you very much for her collaboration Miss Davis, as payment for her help you have won a muffin as a prize" and I waved my hand showing a beautifully decorated 'special muffin' that I took from my inventory.
I could see how Tracey's eyes stayed glued on the muffin, the others also looked at it a little. It looked perfectly symmetrical and with very delicate decorations, but the girl quickly looked away.
"Don't try to fool us Weasley, we're not going to give you our homework, you're lucky if we don't kick you out of here" Pansy yelled.
"Why do you hate me so much Miss Parkinson? I don't think I've done anything to make you angry, tell me if that's the case" I told her without changing the tone of my voice. I don't plan to cause problems if necessary, in fact I have some ideas that I would like to start.
"Don't talk to me as if we were friends, everything about you is a nuisance, damn traitor"
"If that's the problem, maybe you should hate my family and not me. At no time did I say that I had the same idea as them, it's more likely that we have the same way of thinking, but you're just blaming me for things that my parents did. I'm not them... Don't you see that unlike all the other Weasleys I'm in Slytherin? Maybe I'm the only one who could be closer to you, but you don't want to notice"
"As if I would believe you, how are you going to be like us, you're always with that damn Granger, we don't hang out with those damn Mudbloods" she said angrily.
"Well, in case you haven't noticed, they don't receive me very well here just because I belong to a family that the others don't like. The only thing I can do is hang out with her, at least she listens to me. Or is it that you don't want to accept that maybe because others judge me as you have, instead of being a prestigious Slytherin as it should be, I have to seek asylum in those you despise"
"Don't try to use your words to confuse me"
"Okay, let's leave that issue aside, I didn't choose when or where to be born, so you can't use that as an excuse. Tell me what makes you angry about me" I told her and I approached her putting my hands on the chair where she was sitting.
She clearly got flustered when I approached her. She may seem all arrogant in front of me, but on the inside she does hold a slight fear.
"I can't be on good terms with someone who insults Draco" the girl said, but not as enthusiastically as before.
"I must remind you that it was Malfoy who offended me first, I just defended myself, or do you think I should let them insult me and my family without doing anything. I don't think you would let someone do the same to you" I raised an eyebrow.
"Anyway, I don't know how you dare. You can't compare yourself in the slightest with him, you should know your place" the girl in love grumbled.
"Let's see, what is it about Malfoy that makes him so special that I shouldn't dare even look him in the eye?"
"His family is a true pure blood family that can be respected, has enough money to bury you alive, is more handsome than you could ever dream of, and has the nobility and reputation that you will never have."
"Hahahaha" I accidentally laughed when I heard what this girl thought of Malfoy.
"What are you laughing at?" she said angrily.
"First, I think that your family can be more respectable than his, and that it's his family, not him. I at least judge people by who they are and what they do, not by their families. All of their money also comes from his family, not from himself, without it, he has nothing. My family may not have much money, but I…" I took a bag out of my inventory and dumped it on the table.
Dozens of gallons could be seen falling onto the table, even until the unfazed Daphne, who hadn't even looked up from her parchment, widened her eyes slightly upon seeing this.
"This money I earned on my own and I can say that it is completely mine. My family could disappear at any moment and that could not affect me in the least, as for Malfoy, I am sure that if his family disappeared from blow he would be the one who would really starve to death in two days" I laughed maliciously "As for how beautiful you think he is... I can bet you that if one day you realize... You will see that he could not be compared to me at all. He is nothing but a child who fights with every person who disagrees with him, making enemies one after another, uses his family as a shield and has no achievements of his own, he doesn't even treat people like him well. You, I've seen how he ignores you, he prefers to pay more attention to Potter, but I don't want to talk about this anymore... I could go on for a long time"
The girl was angry with me, but most of the things I said were true, even though she didn't want to accept it. I know she's in love, but even in the original story, they don't end up together. Leaving Parkinson aside, I approached Tracey again and put my hand on her shoulder.
"Well Miss Davis, you don't want your reward" I said as I took out the muffin in front of her again and used my blood magic to make her hungry, nothing too exaggerated, so I don't show that it's my fault.
"I…" she was hesitant. I could see how she moved her mouth as if wanting to taste it.
"Don't be fooled by this idiot Tracey" Parkinson yelled at her "Daphne, Millicent, say something" she said asking for help from her two friends without her initial confidence.
"I'm not interested," Daphne said without looking up from her scroll.
"Don't bother Weasley" Millicent said.
Here you can see the difference between these girls.
Pansy is arrogant, with her deep admiration for Malfoy and pureblood ways. She doesn't mind offending you if she is what she thinks is right, and she doesn't have the demeanor of a noble lady.
Daphne, on the other hand, has a noble attitude, seems to be neutral to everything and concentrates on herself without showing her particular opinions. She presents indifference, but she treats everyone with a minimum of necessary respect, certainly she is a good diplomat that unlike Malfoy who antagonizes anyone. She tries to avoid conflict by allowing herself to be on either side without noticeable repercussions.
Tracey is an ordinary girl with some etiquette, but nothing remarkable. She is a normal girl who just wants to have fun and make friends, but her actions are limited by the surrounding girls. If she's in Slytherin, she has to behave like one, so she always has to take into account what her classmates think of her when making a decision.
Millicent, she was raised in pure blood ways like Pansy and Daphne, but she doesn't have Daphne's detachment or Pansy's trust. She is a girl who could not be called small, she was stocky and had a big jaw that made her look aggressive. She's not that she was an ugly girl, not like Marcus Flint, that guy if he looked like a troll. No, she was not ugly, but it would not be within everyone's tastes, her appearance was probably noticed for a long time as unfeminine, among purebloods appearance is not important but lineage, so discrimination based on appearance is almost nil, but she is just a girl who still gives importance to her physical appearance, that being close to her roommates highlights the contrast more. All this makes her, despite being dissatisfied with me, she does not have the self-esteem and confidence to cause a big fight like Pansy does.
"I'm going to take it..." Tracey said, taking the muffin from my hand.
"Tracey! How can you do that?" Pansy asked annoyed, feeling betrayed.
"I'm hungry, we've been doing homework for a long time, and we haven't eaten anything yet" Tracey complained.
She took a bite and widened her eyes, then took another bigger bite and with full cheeks she's keeping a smile on her face.
"It's delicious" she exclaimed, "Where is it from?"
"It's made with various Muggle bakery techniques" I replied, that was partly true.
I visited various Muggle shops during my travels, and last night when my clone went to the shop, I also tried to test the limits of product customization. I asked for muffins to be created using the best features of all the stores I visited, the texture, the taste, the shape, the symmetry, the smell, the proportions... and yes... they gave me a super muffin that contains almost everything the good of the others, although it is not perfect either, was a great improvement.
"Humm" Tracey stopped and watched as her classmates' gazes were also on the half-eaten muffin after hearing her origin. Then she asked, "can I have more?"
"Ok" I said as took out another one and put it on the table.
"You can't be serious, it's muggle-made, how good can it be?"
"A lot" Tracey replied "can I have more for my friends?"
"You don't think you're asking for too much already" I complained, and she looked at me with sad eyes. She was a bit sweet, but I wanted to at least know if I would get what I wanted "Can you lend me your homework?"
"Sure, I'll keep my promise"
"Okay" with that confirmed I took out three more muffins so that there are four on the table "They are the last ones I have left" it was true, I only bought half a dozen and I had eaten one yesterday.
She happily takes another and put the others in front of each of her friends. Daphne took it and began to eat without turning around, although with etiquette and elegance. Millicent was resistant, but I patted her on the shoulder to use my ability to make her hungry like Tracey and told her "I didn't put anything weird on it, enjoy, I just want homework" and with that and the beautiful look of the muffin she started to eat but with distrust. Pansy was the only one who didn't even look at it.
"I don't understand how they can even think of eating that, much less your Daphne" she complained angrily to her friends.
"It's good, you should try it" her friend replied before continuing to work.
"Not because it comes from a muggle store it's bad, you should at least try it, Tracey is going to give me the task, it's lucky that you receive it"
"I'm not going to eat that"
"You shouldn't have so much…" I couldn't finish saying, as someone behind me interrupted me.
"What are you saying behind my back Weasley 'Suffocatio Charta'" someone behind me yelled.
My senses and physical body are much stronger than most normal people's, I instinctively ducked quickly, and I could feel something flying past my head.
A small beam of bright light passed over me, I had dodged it, but it ended up hitting Millicent. When the spell hit her head, the scrolls of the tasks they were writing flew right into her face.
I turned around at the same instant and pointed my wand behind me and without seeing who the assailant was I fired 'Expelliarmus' and I could see Malfoy's wand flying at Goyle's face.
Millicent was choking without being able to breathe because of the papers that covered her face, the surrounding girls stood up and tried to take them off. All the surrounding students also noticed that something was happening.
"Locomotor Mortis" cast three spells on Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle to immobilize them. I then approached Millicent who was already on the ground with Pansy on top of her trying to remove the scrolls from her with her hands, Tracey flustered and not knowing where to go from her and Daphne about to pull her wand out of her. I pointed my wand at the scrolls and recited "Undo Epoxy."
Their scrolls left her face and she took a deep breath, Pansy rolled off of her, and together we helped her up.
"Are you okay?" I asked as I used my blood magic to calm her down.
"Y-Yes..." she grabbed onto the chair to hold on and looked at me with wide eyes as if she was fascinated with what she was seeing. It seems that calming her down with my power made my aura not affect her, and she could see my real appearance.
"What's going on here?" A voice was heard.
There had been a small riot due to the fight, the person who started it was Malfoy, it seems that someone had heard what I said about him when I talked to Pansy and went to tell him. Now, from the ruckus, both Gemma Farley and the other male prefect had appeared. The prefect dispelled the spells I cast on the three of them, and they were able to stand.
"It's Weasley's fault," Malfoy yelled as Crabbe and Goyle nodded.
With that, everyone started to look at me ugly, including the prefects. They were already holding back before to avoid problems, but now they had the opportunity. It looked like there was going to be another fight until it was heard.
"Don't blame him Malfoy, it was your fault what happened to Millicent" was Tracey.
She didn't understand the situation and couldn't realize that siding with me would bring her a lot of trouble. She didn't think about it, she was simply outraged by what happened to her friend, Daphne even touched her shoulder trying to tell her to shut up.
"Millicent, what happened?" Asked the prefect, seeing that this couldn't be solved just by blaming Weasley if the victim didn't agree.
"I don't know, I was doing my homework when I heard someone yell at Weasley, when a spell hit me. Then I couldn't see or breathe until the spell wore off" Millicent said, a little nervous that everyone was waiting for her answer.
"It's true, Malfoy attacked Weasley and ended up hitting Millicent..."
"Shut up Tracey" Pansy stopped her, who was on Malfoy's side.
"Is that true Malfoy?" Asks the prefect.
"Yes Malfoy, or did you want to attack Millicent" I put my hand on his shoulder while I released my blood magic to the maximum to cause his fury and anger.
"WHO WOULD WANT TO DO SOMETHING TO THAT HORRIBLE FAT GIRL. SHUT YOUR FUCKING MOUTH, INSUFFERABLE BASTARD, IT WAS YOU WHO DODGED MY DAMN ATTACK WEASLEY" he vociferates with clear hatred and rage that even the veins of his head were marked.
There was total silence in the room. 'It turned out better than I expected' I thought with a smile on the inside, but on the outside I still had a serious look on a face disgusted by what I heard.
They all looked at Malfoy and then at Millicent, who was teary-eyed and angry. It seems that her appearance is something that is not played with, as I assumed, she may come from a society that cares about lineage more than anything, but the appearance is always something important for a girl.
Daphne was frowning and Tracey seemed to want to curse all of Malfoy's ancestors for what she said to her friend in front of everyone, until Pansy fell silent and looked at Malfoy with puzzled eyes and then went to support her friend, ignoring him.
"Calm down Malfoy, she's the victim" I pretended to plead for justice, too bad I don't have that aura, at least not yet "and just so you know she's at least ten times more beautiful than you" I yelled at him with total honesty. Although I don't clarify that with the fact that I like women, any girl compared to him is at least ten times more beautiful, without exception.
"Shut up Weasley, you're blind if you think she…" he was about to respond to what I said, still under the influence of fury, but was stopped.
"Silence Malfoy" the prefect yelled at him to prevent him from sinking any further. This was not how he expected it, it would be easy to get Weasley into trouble, and even take action of his own with the excuse of defending his teammates, but if Malfoy was the one who caused the conflict is something else. He couldn't let him insult the victim like that either, but he wouldn't confront him, since he has his family behind him and even though the Bulstrode family also has some power in the wizarding world, it doesn't compare to the assets of the Malfoys.
"Let Professor Snape sort out, come on Malfoy" the prefect said.
Now that he was calm, he realized that he said things that maybe he shouldn't have, but he didn't want to apologize for his pride, he just looks at the one who caused all this with anger and followed the prefect.
"You're coming too Weasley, you're involved too, you'll get your due punishment too" Gemma said with a mischievous smile.
I had to follow that damn bitch, not that I wanted to, but it could get worse if I didn't. I still don't have the methods I need to move freely around the school without consequence.
We were ushered into Snape's office by the prefects, with Malfoy glaring at me the whole way. When we were received, Snape's eyes seemed to have ruined their day, though they always looked like that.
He heard the whole story from the prefects with our input, I made sure nothing was missing from the story. The professor frowned and exchanged glances with each one of us, it seemed that he did not know what to do in this situation.
This was what I expected. Because Malfoy exposed himself to everyone and made it worse by blatantly insulting Millicent, his fault was greater than mine and if I was punished, he should too. Clearly, he could have just punished me and set Malfoy free, but it would be too obvious.
"Since it's his first days at Hogwarts you will only be given a warning, but I hope nothing like that will happen again" he said, looking straight into Malfoy's eyes "Now get out of my office"
Clearly he doesn't want to take away points from his house or punish his godson even though he deserves it, so with the 'first mistake' excuse we left. We returned to the common room with everyone present looking at us.
"This won't stay like this, Weasley" Malfoy yelled at me before walking off with Crabbe and Goyle.
"You were lucky" Gemma also said before leaving with her companions.
'I'll take revenge on you two' I said inside.
I went to where the girls were, since they hadn't lent me my homework yet. I had also thought about asking someone like Zabini or Nott for the homework, but the former was too close to Malfoy and the latter was too smart to risk hanging out with me, so girls were the best option. Found them at the same table, there I could see how they continued working and a Pansy eating my muffin.
"So... is it rich?" I asked behind her back.
She almost jumped in fright, and it seemed that she wanted to spit out what she had in her mouth so that I wouldn't see it, but she realized that it was stupid and put on her normal arrogant tone.
"I was just a little hungry, and clearly this is something that Tracey sacrificed her homework for. At least I can feed myself with it, even if it's the worst thing I've ever eaten, it's just to give my friend a face"
"I saw you enjoy it while you ate" Tracey said, smiling.
"Shut up Tracey" she turned red, but I don't know if from embarrassment or anger.
"I won't bother you anymore, that's enough excitement. I'm just here for homework"
"Oh... now I'm looking for it, here are your money too" Tracey said as she handed me my bag of coins and began rummaging through the things for her homework.
"Ehh… Weasley…" Millicent in a low voice without looking me directly in my eyes, "I can lend you my homework if you want… I mean… for the help from before" she got a little nervous.
"Thank you, Ms. Bulstrode, but Ms. Davis is going to lend me hers. What if you lends me next time? I'm not going back to defense against the dark arts class, so I could really use them"
"Yes… I have no problem with that" she nodded satisfied.
"Thank you, and don't listen to Malfoy, he's just an idiot, you are very beautiful" I told him as I took the parchments from Tracey's hands and went to the great hall, since I know it's about time for dinner, but not before hearing the whisper of Parkinson's 'you're an idiot too'. I guess she can't bring herself to say it out loud at the moment.
It was time for dinner, and again I was at the Ravenclaw table, at the Slytherin table I was afraid that Draco would jump on me. We weren't as chatty as last time, but there were fewer people telling me to go. I had a good chat with Padma and Penelope out of all the people. After eating, I went to the kitchen to make an order to the elves and then go to sleep.

Some comments:
Because I had to change the story to fit the harem, the character's personality and some of his actions were combined with the other story I had planned for later, that's why I went from an absolute seriousness to a kind of comic . In the original story that he had planned, he continued with that cold personality, but it changed over the years. He wasn't beautiful either as I describe him now, he was better than ron but he couldn't temporarily fascinate others like now
For the same reason it is for those who feel that I end up writing a lot without advancing the story, it is that now I have to put emphasis on the interaction of many characters that previously had a more secondary participation.
And the same goes for relationships, in the main story the protagonist had different friendship relationships with some male characters, but with the increase of the harem they were left aside to give 'screen time' to the girls. The ending of each character will also change because of it.
In case you don't like it, let me tell you that this was the result caused by the previous poll of changing to a large harem, don't blame me... so much.
