Harry potter: I am the king of United Kingdom

Chapter 10: Chapter 9: The Awakening of the Grimoire

The day had started normally enough. Arthur sat through his morning classes, enduring Professor Binns' droning lectures on the Goblin Rebellions and Professor Snape's icy critiques in Potions. By the time lunch ended, he was eager for a moment of solitude. His curiosity and the strange pull he'd been feeling for days urged him to slip away unnoticed.

Arthur cast a quick glance at his classmates as they moved to their next lessons. Whispering a soft "Evanesco Trace," he activated an invisibility spell with his Blackthorn wood wand, the Kamaitachi fur core humming faintly in his hand. Cloaked in invisibility, he made his way to the castle gardens, where the mysterious sensation grew stronger.

The Headless Angel

The garden was quiet, bathed in the golden light of the afternoon sun. Arthur followed the pull to a secluded area overgrown with ivy and hedges. There, hidden among the foliage, stood a weathered statue of an angel—headless, with its wings partially broken. It held a book in its outstretched hands, the faint outline of a four-leaf clover etched on the cover.

Arthur's heart quickened. Something about the statue felt ancient and otherworldly. He approached cautiously, his wand held at the ready. As he reached out to touch the book, a surge of energy coursed through him, drawing a sliver of his magic into the stone.

The clover symbol glowed green, spreading warmth into the cold air. With a crackling sound, the book detached from the statue's hands and floated before Arthur. Its cover shimmered, transforming from weathered stone to polished black leather. Golden runes danced across its surface, forming the outline of a four-leaf clover.

Arthur stared in awe as the grimoire settled gently into his hands. It pulsed faintly, as though alive, resonating with his magic.

The Shadow Approaches

Before Arthur could examine the grimoire further, a prickling sensation on the back of his neck alerted him to another presence. A shadow moved at the edge of the garden, dark and menacing.

Reacting instinctively, Arthur waved his wand and whispered, "Disillusio." His invisibility spell reactivated, shrouding him from view. The shadow grew clearer—a figure in a long cloak, their face obscured by a hood.

The figure paused near the angel statue, as though sensing something amiss. Arthur held his breath, clutching the grimoire tightly. After a moment, the figure turned and melted into the shadows of the garden.

Arthur waited until he was certain the figure was gone before slipping away, his heart pounding.

A Confrontation in Gryffindor Tower

By the time Arthur returned to Gryffindor Tower, the sun was setting. The common room was lively, filled with students chatting and playing games, but Arthur's focus was drawn to a figure waiting by the fireplace.

Aurelius Dumbledore-Black leaned against the mantle, his piercing blue eyes fixed on Arthur as he entered.

"You've been busy," Aurelius said, his tone casual but edged with curiosity.

Arthur hesitated. "What do you mean?"

"You disappeared after lunch," Aurelius replied, stepping closer. "And you're carrying a book I've never seen before. Care to explain?"

Arthur glanced at the grimoire in his hands. Its runes had dimmed, but he could still feel its power. He knew Aurelius was sharp; hiding the truth would be pointless.

"I found it in the garden," Arthur admitted. "It's… connected to my magic."

Aurelius raised an eyebrow. "Connected how?"

Arthur hesitated again. "I think it was sealed. When I touched it, it unsealed itself."

Aurelius studied him for a moment before nodding. "You're walking a dangerous path, cousin. Magic like that doesn't just appear without a reason."

Arthur met his gaze. "I know. But I won't ignore it."

Aurelius smiled faintly. "Good. Just be careful. If you need help, you know where to find me."

A New Chapter

That night, Arthur sat by the window in his dormitory, the grimoire open before him. Its pages were blank, yet he could feel its magic waiting for him to unlock it.

"This is only the beginning," he murmured to himself, tracing the outline of the four-leaf clover on the cover.

As the castle settled into silence, Arthur vowed to uncover the secrets of the grimoire—and to prepare for whatever challenges lay ahead.
