Chapter 8: Ch:8 First Day
"Now go and sleep, it was a long day for all of you" Purcey said and made a dismissive hand gesture.
Orion searched for his room and found a wooden door with his name carved into it. He entered the room and was quite statisfied with it. Of course it was nothing in comparisson to his room in Camelot but it was better than the appartment of his previous life. He even had his own bath.
When he finished inspecting the room he started to cast wards around his room.
These wards would throw anyone out of the door who hasn't his permission to enter. If they would forcefully try to enter it would start to get ugly...
Anyways, he conjured a wardrobe for his clothes and a bookshelf where he put his normal shool books.
He also took out a big stack of muggle paper and placed it in another shelf he had conjured.
I mean seriously, why would he waste money on paper with almost three times the price but also with low quality?
No he refused to use things from ancient times if they aren't better than the modern solutions.
Now he finally changed into his pyjama and jumped into his bed.
Not much later he slept peacefully...
The next morning they had a free day to familiarise themselves with the castle, so woke up at 5am and changed into his training chlothes and made his way to the room of requirement. He wasn't willing to abandon his training just because of the curfew, so he sneaked out of the common room and made his way to the seventh floor in the castle.
With his element beeing darkness, he had no problems to see in the dark so he effortlessly reached the seventh floor and found the picture where a man tried to teach trolls to dance.
He first imagined a muggle gym to train his body. He just hoped it would work.
After walking back and forth three times a door appeared on the opposite wall and he entered excitedly.
In front of his eyes was a modern muggle gym in top-notch condition. A lot of wizards neglect their physical fitness and in turn become to fragile to withstand most rituals.
So he got to work and started with the most basic exercises such as push-ups, sit-ups and squats until his whole body ached.
He then did 2 sets on every machine in the gym and took a healing potion after the training. With the healing potion his muscles didn't need time to regenerate and he could train to the maximum every day.
The only proof of his intense training was his clothes that were soaked from all his sweat.
He then left the room of requirements, went back to the dorms in the dungeon, showered and then made his way to the great hall for breakfast.
It was still early so there weren't many students eating but he spotted his brother Mordred eating with Neville and Seamus.
It was quite funny to see Seamus trying to transform the water inside his goblet into liquor until it eventually blew up.
Orion went over to them "hey what's up" he greeted Mordred.
"What's a snake doing here?" came a threatening voice from besides them.
Orion just rolled his eyes "relax, I come in peace. Just wanted to talk a bit with my brother".
The rude boy from the side said nothing more but still eyed him with suspicion.
"What's going on? He looks like you stole all his money" Mordred asked Orion.
"Yeah, I can't blame him. Most guys in Slytherin are spoiled rich kids and there is a very strong rivalry between Gryffindor and Slytherin...think of it as a tradition" Orion just said and sat down on their table.
Just as he was seated the stern voice of professor McGonagall came from behind him "Mr. Green, could it be that you sat down at the wrong table?"
"No professor, I am 100% sure I am on the right table" he just said.
"But you need to sit on your own house table according to the school rules" McGonagall said this time with a more stricter tone.
"Yes, I am obligated to sit at my house table on any official events, the entrance and end of year feast but anything else isn't written in the school rules" he just said unbrothered "look on page 103 in the shool's rulebook if you don't believe me".
"I will do that Mr. Green and if I see that you just made up something then you will have dention with me for the rest of the week" McGonagall just said and walked off to the teacher's table.
"You just waved off professor McGonagall like it's nothing..." Seamus said in amazement.
"I...I am kind o..of afraid of her" Neville stuttered quietly and Orion was barely able to hear him.
"It's nothing for him, he did this the whole time we were in diagon alley. I swear, professor McGonagall almost exploded from anger" Mordred bragged. "Anyways, guys, this is my most annoying brother, Orion Green" Mordred introduced him and he nodded politely.
"Seamus Finnigan" the boy on the right said ethusiastically.
"Neville Longbottom" the other boy said but Orion already knew him anyways.
"So how's Gryffindor?" Orion asked and filled his plate with food. After his traini g he was starving.
"Well pretty normal just that we apparently have a celebrity in our house" Mordred said.
"How have you never heard of Harry Potter?" Seamus exclaimed in shock.
"Orphans, remember?" Mordred just said while pointing at Orion and himself.
"Oh right, sorry" Seamus said.
"It's alright" Mordred waved him off.
"But how's Slytherin? I heard they don't like muggleborns" Seamus asked and eyed Orion.
"Well I act like I'm air. So far they haven't noticed me. But if they come for me they will end up in the hospital wing. I wasn't sorted into Slytherin by coincidence" Orion said with a sadistic smile on his face.
"You kind of scare me" Neville said.
"Ah don't worry, as long as no one outright attacks me I wouldn't hurt a fly" Orion said but he knew it was bullshit, especially when he thought about a pink-coloured toad they would have as future teacher.
In his eyes someone like that was more disgusting than even Voldemort.
On his mental assasination list was Umbrige in first place.
"You don't have to worry about him" Mordred said from the side "in a duel he would wipe the floor with anyone".
"Can you show us?" Seamus asked with sparkling eyes "I've never seen a wizarding duell".
"No, forget about it" Orion just said. This was contrary to his plan to not attract any unnecessairy attention.
Althrough he was confident to stand his own against a few seventh-years, it would seriously harm them and he would get expelled or straight out sent to Azkaban because of his "dark magic".
"Alright, how about we familiarise ourselves with the castle? I don't want to be late on my first day because I lost my way to one of my classrooms" Orion said when he finished his meal.
"Good Idea" Mordred said and stood up.
"Let's also check out the Quidditch pitch. I'm very interrested in this sport" Mordred said.
Orion just rolled his eyes and followed Mordred out of the hall. Of course this Idiot likes Quidditch.
He wasn't interrested in Quiditch at all especially if he was supposed to play for Slytherin.
Nah, these bastards can earn their points somewhere else.
The odd squad of three Gryffindors and one Slytherin were then seen roaming the whole area of the castle for the rest of the day.
They were everywhere, they checked out the black lake, the Quidditch pitch, all classrooms and they even found one hidden passage out of luck. Even Orion didn't know of this passage from the mauderers map.
'Mabye this castle hides more interesting things than mentioned in the book...althrough the chamber of secrets will be hard to beat' he thought.
Orion also defeated all three of them in magic chess something he found quite funny.
Even in his previous live he occasionally played chess but the animated figures just made it so much more fun.
"Aaaaannnd checkmate" he said and watched as Mordred almost pulled out his hair out of frustration.
"Again! I want a rematch" Mordred demanded.
"You saw that the curfew is in half an hour right?" Orion said "don't worry you will get your rematch. Let's play again sometime".
"I will definetly defeat you" Mordred said and packed up the chessboard "this isn't over".
"See you tomorrow" Orion said and made his way to the dungeons.
