Harry Potter and the son of Morgana LeFay

Chapter 18: Ch:18 the deal

The great hall was soon filled with heated discussions and all kinds of rumours.

"I could have done that too...if I was given the chance of course" Malfoy bragged.

"Right? There's no way that mudblood could achieve something like this. He must have cheated..." said another Slytherin.

Orion just shook his head. He knew that these stuck-up nobles just couldn't stand the reality that there is someone better than them.

Under the students he saw a certain blonde girl staring at him with a calculating gaze. She then took a piece of parchment and wrote something on it. Her black owl readily took it and flew out of the great hall.

He was interrupted by his brother.

"How did you do it? Did you cheat?" Mordred asked him after he finished reading the article.

"No, I studied this shit for the whole time we were in the orphange. You could have achieved the same if you wouldn't be so lazy" Orion just said.

"Urg, I hate books" Mordred just said and looked as if he had just swallowed something incredibly disgusting.

"Well then you could at least practice your duelling. There are also several international duelling championships" Orion said.

At that Mordreds eyes lit up "great Idea...haha, just wait I am going to become the greatest wizard there is".

Orion just smiled at the behavior of his brother...yeah he definetly had a few screws loose but whatever.

If Mordred gets better in duelling he would also be able to protect himself in the future war.

"Whatever just do your best. I am going to owl-order a magical camera for taking pictures anything for you that I could add?" Orion asked Mordred.

"Nah, I'm fine...just order some sweets like chochlate frogs or other things. Just don't buy berty botts beans, I swear they taste horrible" Mordred complained.

"Alright, see you in class" Orion said and went out of the great hall.

In a quiet corner he summoned his crow from his tatoo and gave her the neccesary money to buy the things together with a list of what he wanted to order.

The owl then flew out of the window and slowly dissapeared in the blue sky.

Behind him Daphne appeared who was following him the whole time.

She approached him and asked "do you mean it? Can you really cure the blood-curse?"

Orion turned to her and just said "no".

Daphne first looked at him suprised, then angry "were you messing with me the whole time? Is that funny to you?"

"I said I can't and I won't cure her. The procedure includes several pieces of dark magic and illegal rituals and is extremely costly. Besides you will need an expert in rune arrays and rituals which I am honestly not that good in yet" Orion said "But for the favour I can give you the knowlege how to cure your sister".

Daphne's gaze returned to her normal emotionless facade and nodded.

She then took out a magical contract and gave it to Orion.

"I need to make sure you fufill your end of the deal and that your methods are really working. If not...you will bear the consequences" she stated.

Orion looked at the contract and couldn't hide an amused smirk.

1. Orion Green will provide a method for curing the blood-curse within one week. after signing this contract.

2. The effectiveness of the method is guaranteed through Orion Green, in case of faliure or severe side effects Orion Green will have to pay appropriate compensation and face all legal consequences.

3. No information about this deal and the contents will be conveyed to an outsider through any means.

4. In case of the curing of the blood-curse the current Lord Greengrass will owe a favour to Orion Green no matter what it is.

5. If any of these clauses are not fufilled Orion Green will die painfully through magic backlash.

Signed:

Cyrus Greengrass, Lord of the most noble and ancient house of Greengrass.

Orion just shrugged and took out a pen out of his ring. He then put the parchment on the stone wall for support and signed with his name.

The contract glowed and turned to dust.

Orion just nodded, put the pen back inside his ring and took out the prepared thick notebook whith the notes he copied and filtered from the grimoires

He even added explanations how and why this method was used.

Without any qualms he gave it to Daphne.

"Everything else depends on you and your family. This stuff is very complicated so don't blame me when you make a mistake because of your lacking skill" Orion said and put on a fake smile "pleasure doing buissness with you Miss Greengrass".

Daphne just stared at the thick notebook and looked through a few pages.

She closed it after she had no clue about what was written inside but it looked organized and well explained.

Without a word she turned around and walked to the Slytherin dormitory.

Orion just shrugged and went to the Library. It was very annoying that he had to write his essays with book references even through this stuff was so easy to him.

Orion just sighed and thought 'I guess this is the annoying part about Hogwarts'.

...

Time went by and the days became colder and colder. In the blink of an eye it was Halloween, the dreaded day Quirrelmort will let the troll run amok in Hogwarts.

Honestly Orion couldn't care less what happened to the golden trio the only reason why he marked this day in his calendar was because he wanted to test out Muramasa on a magical beast together with his swordsmanship and newly created movement arts based on the deatheater flying spell.

It was basically a knockoff version only powered through Miasma instead of mana and it was more focused on speed and maneurverability instead of flying.

So instead of attending the Halloween feast he followed Quirell under a cloaking spell.

He saw Quirell opening a secret, very spacious room by touching a few bricks in a certain order.

Orion eyes lit up when he saw the room. It was a very nice room but the smell was unbearable.

The room was the size of a small house and it seems Quirell even stored a few things here. He could see a small pile of books, a death eater uniform and research papers scrattered across the table on how to keep the dying Quirell alive. He also saw a few vials of a silver glowing liquid, most likely unicorn blood.

In the middle of the room there was a giant magic array that chained the troll to the ground.

The troll was the source of that disgusting smell that made even Orion want to vomit. He quickly performed a bubblehead charm to breathe fresh air.

He saw how Quirell knocked out the troll, deactivated the array and levitated the troll out of the room.

Orion followed Quirell back out of the room and saw how Quirell made a run for it before the troll woke up.

Behind them the door returned to a plain stone wall.

Orion just waited for the troll to wake up, after all he wanted a real fight with this extremely disgusting smelling magical beast.

A minute later the troll woke up and began strolling through the corridors.

After they were far away from that awesome secret room Orion discovered he lifted the invisibility spell.

"Hey airhead, I am here!" he shouted and let Muramasa appear inside his right hand.

He then began channeling miasma through his body and let his body be enveloped by dark smoke.

The stone he stood on began to turn pitch black, which slowly spread across the floor and then climbing up the walls.
