Orion quickly got to work and collected all necessary ingredients.

he then took the silver cauldron and lit the fire under it.

While the water inside the cauldron was beating up he prepared the ingredients with a scary accuracy and speed.

It was obvious that Orion didn't follow the normal instructions of the manual and addes steps like burning ingredients or mixing them in a different bowl before adding them to the potion.

Seeing his performance Antony just sneered but stayed quiet.

The other potion masters were watching his actions with clear interest.

Orion carefully addes the magical objects, paying special attention to the perfect temperature of the pption and the time to add the next ingredient.

He first burned the mandrake leaves and threw the ash inside the cauldron together with powdered moonstone.

The potion was turned black because of the ash.

He then stirred the potion alowly in clockwise motion and then added the insides of three murtlap tentacles. They needed to get skinned for a better quality because the skin contains impurities.

After the potion turned into a poisonous dark violett he threw 17 wolfsbane leaves inside the cauldron, immediately lowered the temperature and began to stir in a fast but precise movement.

He then added his mix of three drops of dragon blood, two drops of Syrup of a helleblore and the juice of sopophorous beans he had prepared inside a bowl beforehand.

The potion started to turn into a brighter ahade of violett.

He then waited 10 minutes for the ingredients to mix properly until he trew the mixture of an occamy egg inside.

The potion turned silvery blue and started to emmit blue smoke signaling his success at the potion.

He slowly filled the potion inside a bottle and gave it to the judges.

Antony almost looked desperate to find anything wrong with the potion.

'Heh, keep looking old geezer this is a flawless potion and even Merlin wouldn't find a way to improve it without creating another potion because of the changes' Orion jist thought with a proud smile on his face.

"Amazing, I didn't expect a kid to be this capable" Verona said.

"I feel like I should practice more..."Rudolph just muttered "seriously, what are they feeding those kids nowadays".

"A genius...truly extraordinary" Slughorn said with a predatory gaze to Orion.

"Alright with that the exam is finished. Congratulations Mr.Green, form today you can call yourself a potion master" Antony said with respect.

Orion could bareley hold his laughter at Antony's sudden change in attitude.

"Thank you" Orion said.

"God damn now I have to deal with the press and the award ceremony" Antony just muttered and rubbed his eyes.

"I wasn't aware of an award ceremony" Orion just said.

"Yeah, we'll just need to wait for the two other examinations next to us to finish and then we'll move on to give your your diploma and your potion-master badge. You can fill the form to join the potions guild now in the lobby.

The award ceremony is only at 11:30 am so you'll have enough time" Rudolph explained.

"Ah were do I submity reseach papers to?" Orion asked. After all he wanted the potion patents.

"You can submit it next to the lobby there is a big mission board full of reseach projects and research groups you can join, just pick one" Antony said.

"And If I finished a project? Where do I submit it to get a patent on the potion?" Orion asked.

"There is an office for that also right next to the reseach hall. Your reseach will then get verified and published in a few months" Antony said "but don't get your hopes up kid, recreating an ancient potion or creating a new one is incredibly difficult and takes decades of intensive research to accomplish".

Snape came to them from his spectator seat and smirked at Antony's comment.

"that would normally be the case but Mr. Green seems to have a talent for creating new potions. He has already written reseach papers of three new potions. Two of them are recreated ancient potions and one which he invented himself" Snape bragged about Orion right in front of him.

The other potion masters just stared at Snape in shock.

"You're kidding!"

"No way"

Snape just smirked and the three other potion masters shut up and stared at Orion.

Orion just scratched his head and said completly clueless "What, like it's hard?"

The three other potion masters just stayed silent.

This guy is no genius, he is a damn monster! How would he understand the incompetence of normal mortals. Seriously, aren't they his seniors? Why do they feel like they are back in school?

Orion just smiled seeing the dumbfounded faces of the potion masters.

"Alright, you said there is an office for that right? I'll be off then, where is the award ceremony again?" Orion said while walking out of the hall.

"In the lobby where all the reporters are" Antony just informed him.

"Alright, thank you. See you then" Orion said and stormed out of the room. He honestly wanted to be as far away from Slughorn as possible else he would be forced to do meaningless small talk.

As he walked back the way back to the lobby he searched for the place the potion masters mentioned.

He found another moderately sized hall right next to the lobby which looked like a giant archive. Rows of bookshelfs filled three walls of the hall to the cieling stuffed with folders and loose stacks of papers.

The last wall of the research forum was split into the mentioned office and a giant mission board that spanned over almost the entire wall and was filled with potion formulars or awards for completing projects.

Unfortunately indicated the brownish colour of the parchment on the wall the old age lf these projects. Orion suspected that they hanged there for decades.

The mission board followed a strict order. On the right side were the active reseach projects and the assigned reseach groups to the pinned projects.

On the left side were unpopular or abandoned projects where the paper looked even more ancient. There was also the mention on the board that everyone who invented a very useful potion with positive and useable effects will get a special award, the potion creator award which was one of the highest personal awards one could get in potion-research.

The only higher personal award besides the awards from prestigious contests was the potion pioneer award only awarded to those that made groundbreaking discoveries in their reseach. This award was comparable to the muggle Nobel-prize and brings international fame and prestige.

This award was last awarded over 200 years ago to an american potion grandmaster named Lucas Brown with his discovery and reseach of different cauldron materials.

Orion would later get that award later anyways when he published the system from Merlin and write History as the best potion master ever...but he would have to wait a few years, maby until his 4th or 5th year before he dropped this bomb on the world.

'Anyways let's go to that office' Orion came out of his thoughts and walked to the office in the corner of the hall.
