Harem With Venom In Marvel/Dc

Chapter 1: Chapter 1 Chino

New York

A funeral was taking place in the cemetery. Chino, dressed in black mourning clothes, stood emotionlessly, staring at the two coffins before him.

Even if they were his parents.

"Chino, would you like to say a few words? Your parents will be buried soon," a middle-aged man beside him asked sadly.

Hearing this, Chino silently shook his head and said nothing.

After all, he had no idea what to say. He had no memories of being close to his parents in this body. It was better to remain silent.

Yes, Chino was a time traveler, and he was now 18 years old.

But traveling through time wasn't exactly what he had imagined. His parents' deaths left him with a massive inheritance, which should have been the start of an enjoyable life.

However, there was bad news.

This was the Marvel Universe.

The good news?

He had a golden finger—a special ability that allowed him to travel to other worlds.

The bad news?

On the other side was the DC Universe.

His mother's kiss wasn't comforting in either world. At any moment, the world could be destroyed, and humanity could be wiped out.

And he didn't even know if these two were the primary universes.

As everyone knew, Marvel and DC had countless parallel universes, like strands of hair on a cow. This also meant his foresight was practically useless—he only had fragments of secret information.

Thinking about this, Chino couldn't help but look desperate.

The middle-aged man beside him noticed the look in Chino's eyes and felt even sadder.

The death of his friends had left their only son mentally unstable, causing him to lose his memory. If luck hadn't been on his side, he might have ended up in a vegetative state.

After the funeral, the man—George—called out to him.

"Chino, you may not remember me, but I am your Uncle George, a friend of your parents. I hope you'll consider living with us."

"Uncle George, I'd like to be alone for now."

George noticed the wariness in Chino's eyes and simply handed him a business card.

"Call me if you need anything. There's still some security left in New York."

Watching the man, who claimed to be his uncle, walk away, Chino slowly lowered his guard. It seemed he wasn't one of those relatives looking to steal his inheritance.

He looked down at the card in his hand.

George Stacy

His eyes landed on another name beneath it.

Gwen Stacy.

Wait, wasn't she Spider-Man's girlfriend? Which meant this world had a Spider-Man.

After thinking for a moment, Chino pocketed the card and walked toward a luxury car parked nearby.

A sturdy butler stood beside it, his face expressionless.

"Young Master, where to next?"

"Cassel, take me back to the mansion."

"Understood."

After about thirty minutes, they arrived at a grand estate—something he had never seen in his previous life.

After a simple lunch, Chino rushed to the study and booted up the computer. Fortunately, it had a built-in translation feature; otherwise, he had no interest in learning everything from scratch.

He typed a name into the search bar.

Iron Man.

No.

Tony Stark.

A dense flood of news articles appeared, and he skimmed through them.

Breaking News: Tony Stark has disappeared. Stark Industries' stock has plummeted.

"So it begins... The era of chaos."

Chino sighed.

In the Marvel Universe, Iron Man held special significance. Before he revealed himself, all extraordinary individuals followed unspoken rules, operating in secrecy.

But once he stepped into the spotlight, monsters and freaks started appearing everywhere.

"First, I need to find a way to increase my survival abilities. Otherwise, I won't last long enough to see Thanos."

As he browsed the web, he pondered what kind of powers an ordinary human could realistically obtain in Marvel.

As for DC... he wasn't thinking about it yet. If he appeared in Metropolis, that was one thing. But if he ended up in Gotham? No one could predict his fate. Besides, he still didn't know if his golden finger had a cooldown.

Breaking News: A spacecraft belonging to the Life Foundation has crashed in East Malaysia.

Chino's eyes gleamed as he read the report.

Venom. How could he have forgotten about Venom?

Limitless power, rapid healing, the ability to copy other abilities...

Sure, it had weaknesses—loud noise and fire—but it was still incredibly strong. As long as he didn't provoke the big players in this world, he could live a good life.

"But how do I sneak in?"

In the movies, the journalist managed to get in way too easily. There was no way a top-secret lab would be infiltrated by a mere reporter.

As for simply buying his way in—well, not every orphan had the last name Wayne.

"Cassel, Butler Cassel?"

"Yes, Young Master? What do you require?" Cassel asked as he opened the door.

"How much liquid cash do we have?"

"Around 50 million."

"What the—why do we have so much?!"

Chino instinctively cursed, then noticed Cassel's strange look and coughed twice.

"Cassel, do you know where I can find mercenaries?"

"I do, Young Master. Do you need to go there now?" Cassel didn't ask why—it wasn't a butler's place to question his master.

"Um... yes."

Cassel took Chino to an old-fashioned tavern.

The dim lighting gave it an eerie atmosphere. People sat in dark corners, whispering or eyeing newcomers with suspicion. A sense of danger lingered in the air.

As soon as Chino stepped inside, he felt numerous eyes on him. He frowned slightly but quickly regained his composure.

Cassel walked behind him, carefully observing their surroundings.

"Young Master, most of the people here are mercenaries. They all have different backgrounds and styles. Be cautious," Cassel whispered.

Chino nodded, scanning the tavern. Then, a burly man with a scruffy beard approached them.

"Frank, if you're not playing housekeeper in the city, what are you doing here? Looking to return to the old life?"

"Jason, I don't do that anymore. I'm just accompanying someone today."

Chino was curious about Cassel's past, but he had more pressing matters.

Meeting Jason's gaze, Chino spoke. "I need mercenaries."

Jason smirked. "Kid, you sure you're in the right place?"

"Does that affect whether I can hire them?" Chino shot back.

"Hah! If you're with Frank, I'll give you a pass." Jason chuckled and pointed at the group drinking at the bar. "Talk to them. They're the ones looking for work."

"Thank you."

Jason's expression shifted slightly. It had been a long time since anyone thanked him.

"Listen up, you bastards, behave yourselves here, got it?"

Hearing this, Chino nodded politely. Jason's face reddened slightly as he downed his drink and turned to Cassel.

"Where'd you find this kid? He's nothing like the street rats I know."

"He's a gift from the gods," Cassel replied, a small smile on his lips as he watched over Chino.
