Elian turned on his phone and opened the stats menu.

As he did, Alice scooted up next to him on the bed.

Next, he tapped BondBreaker. A skill he had yet to use.

"Oooh, that one sounds good!" Alice cheered as she pressed closer against him.

She's right. And after reading it, I've gained an understanding of how to use it. I should be able to utilise this in the future.

Next, he checked his passive abilities.

Maybe that explains why Alice suddenly started paying attention to me.

"Do you think that's why Adam was fine with leaving us on the rooftop and not finishing the job?" Alice suggested.

"Oh yeah.. you're probably right. Let's hope that it continues to work that way.

He looked at the rest of the stats menu, skipping past the two locked areas at the bottom.

They probably open up once I'm stronger.

"Click me, click me!" Alice said as she pointed at her name beside "Harem Members.

"You- no, we need to get stronger as soon as possible. This isn't just a game anymore, an official crime has happened. We need to be able to defend ourselves."

Alice was right, and Elian knew it.

"Then I'll need to increase my harem..." He said, hesitantly, not sure if it would annoy Alice. "It's the best way for me to get stronger, and it will help you as well."

Alice didn't seem bothered, instead, she seemed more interested in something else.
