Hallow Throne

Lucifer addressed Astrea, "Astrea, your next mission is a dungeon mission."

Astrea replied, "Yes, sir, but when do I leave, and who is coming with me?"

Lucifer answered, "No one else is coming with you. The others joining you are Roy, your adopted brother Klaus from CoreFury, the Vice Captain of Arcluatina, Iris, and finally, an elite member of Avalon, Aoi."

Astrea nodded and asked, "Yes, sir, but when do I leave?"

Lucifer explained, "The mission is in three days. Until then, you will be staying at CoreFury HQ, and you and the others will depart from there."

Astrea and Lucifer then headed to CoreFury HQ. As they arrived, Lucifer turned to Licht and said, "Yo, Licht, I have a package for you," playfully throwing Astrea toward him. Licht caught Astrea and jokingly remarked, "Thanks, but why is the gift so small?"

Lucifer quipped, "It's called a low budget."

Licht teased, "Is that so?"

Lucifer added, "Thank you for taking care of him. Just remember to feed him on time and take him out for walks."

Astrea couldn't help but wonder if the captain thought of him as a dog. Licht asked, "Okay, can I play fetch with him or does he do any special tricks?"

Lucifer replied, "Nah, had to get the cheap model, as I said, low budget."

Astrea sighed internally, thinking, "Why am I alive right now?"

Lucifer then said, "Okay, then I'm leaving now."

Licht waved him off, saying, "See ya."

Afterward, Licht apologized to Astrea, saying, "Sorry, kid, we were just messing with you." He then turned to Roy and asked, "Roy, come here."

Roy replied, "Yes, sir."

Licht suggested, "Please show Astrea to his room. Isn't the room next to Klaus free? They are childhood friends; I'm sure they have a lot of catching up to do."

Roy agreed, saying, "Astrea, this is going to be your room during your stay. I hope your time here will be pleasant. Tomorrow morning at 8 am, we'll have breakfast, followed by a training session at 9 am, lunch at 2 pm, and dinner at 7 pm. Afterward, you and everyone else will receive a briefing on your mission."

Astrea thanked Roy and went to bed. The next morning, he woke up at 6 am and found Roy still working in his office. Roy remarked, "You're up early."

Astrea asked, "Sir, you woke up even earlier?"

Roy replied, "No, I didn't go to bed."

Astrea was surprised, "Why, sir?"

Roy explained, "I have a lot of paperwork."

Astrea offered, "If you want, I can help."

Roy declined, saying, "Sorry, but these papers require at least the Vice Captain or Captain's signatures."

Licht, hearing the commotion, came out of his room, picked up Astrea, and playfully tossed him back into his room. He said, "Go back to sleep, and let me sleep."

Astrea started working out until 8 am and then joined Klaus and Roy for breakfast. Astrea asked, "Klaus, Roy, why isn't Captain Licht here?"

Klaus replied, "It's complicated."

Roy added, "Well, our great captain doesn't wake up until 2 pm."

Astrea couldn't believe it, "You're kidding, right?"

Klaus reassured him, "Nope."

Astrea suggested, "Let's start training, then."

Roy assigned their training goals, "Astrea, for your training, focus on controlling a tornado with your spin magic. Klaus, I'll be using my star magic fist to help increase your energy capacity."
