GREED: ALL FOR WHAT?

Ghastorix looked around and didn't see anything special. Everywhere looked like how the dark side of the universe looks normally. It was dark, stiff, and pressurized.

So he asked the first sage, "Are you sure?"

The first sage replied, "I am sure."

The keeper of secrets said, "There is a bulge in space-time here, so there might be an intersection of the quantum zone here. You might be right."

The first sage laughed and said, "When have I ever been wrong?"

The Serpentine world god's fist trembled as he restrained himself from punching the first sage's smug face. What held him back was the oath that he had just taken, not the strength of his character.

The first sage acted as if he didn't see his struggling ally and said, "Anyway, we will find out soon if I am right soon."

Then he struck the space before them with the apocalypse weapon.

Wherever the weapon passed, it split the world apart. It severed the matter and energy of the world from the fabric of reality and left an empty space. This empty space meant nothing could hinder it from making contact with the quantum zone just beneath this layer of space.

If the world of manifestation is the space within a house and the dark side of the void universe is the walls of this house, then the bricks that make up the walls are the dimensions, and the way they are arranged to make the wall is the laws of the void universe.

World gods live in the crevice between the bricks. In these crevices there are no dimensions and no laws. Only their dimensions and laws can act in these crevices.

It is uncertain if the crevices between walls are natural features of the world present before the existence of world gods or if the crevices were created in the walls when world gods were born.

It could be that the crevices were created when world gods severed their link with the law matrix and created their own space to exist in. But one thing is certain: it is that the bricks that make up the void universe are not the territory of world gods.

World gods can't enter dimensions. At least, not easily. It is possible, but it is very difficult.

This location is usually the place where the dimension in question aligns with the normal space of the dark side of the void universe.

Some of this alignment is caused by the presence of a Cosmic source. The immense gravity of the Cosmic source will create a bend and twist in space that impacts the dark side of the void universe.

But this is just one of the many options that could cause an intersection in the dimensions. There could be many other reasons, like pressure from the expansion of the void universe or the collision of worlds in the corridor of worlds or just an ordinary shift in space.

To rely on a bulge in space to find a Cosmic source is to gamble on finding a needle in a haystack. It is an uncertain method with a very low chance of success. But those who have the aspect of probability are not afraid of something having a low chance of success.

The Apocalypse weapon successfully connected to the quantum zone and ripped a passage to it through the dark side of the void universe.

The four of them grabbed the edges of the torn hole and ripped it apart. This caused an explosion as the pressure that caused the bulge found an outlet.

The quantum zone erupted and enveloped the four of them. Then it dragged them down into its dimension. Right below them was a shiny quasar.

It was a Cosmic source, so the first sage was right about his gamble. He only smiled and didn't rub his victory in their faces. It was a good thing since the Serpentine world god was about to reach his limit.

Cosmic sources are usually found in the quantum zone. As the dimension of the aspect of information and energy, it is just right that it contains the one object that refines Cosmic energy for the void universe and stores the information of everything going on in the void universe.

Maybe there are other powerful organs of the void universe in other dimensions that can grant power, or maybe the cosmic source is in the quantum zone because the quantum zone is the closest to the core of the void universe. Either way, the only known way to acquire a cosmic source is in the quantum zone.

The quantum zone is also known as the zone of truth. Anything that enters it is broken down into information. So the truth of it is revealed.

This is why the true form of all four of them became revealed to each other. The race they started with and some information about their Supreme laws were revealed.

Three of them were battle sage monkeys with different forms. The last one was a large humanoid snake with many arms.

Even the Apocalypse weapon was affected by the quantum zone. Its shape was revealed not to be a spear. Instead, it became a black, indistinct object. It was like a black tear in space.

As for the others, even the number of aspects they possessed was also revealed. Three of them had five aspects while the last one had six aspects.

The Serpentine world god snorted at them and asked them, "What are you looking at?"

The first sage chuckled and said, "The Viper race is truly talented."

The other two didn't say anything. But the reason why they all went to war to fight the Vipers flashed through their minds again. It just so happened that all three battle sages had fought in that war.
