Chapter 229 Charming Aroma

But they all understand that this time will not last long, because as ninjas, their journey will always be full of challenges.

But at least at this moment, they knew why they were fighting.

Naruto and Kearns looked at each other, as if two warriors were silently confirming each other's determination.

"Thank you, Mr. Kearns." Naruto said, "Listening to what you said, I think I understand more."

"You're welcome, Naruto, you've been an excellent student and I'm glad to see you continue to grow." Kearns responded.

The two picked up their teacups again and toasted each other.

"Cheers to the challenges ahead." Naruto said with a smile.

"Cheers," Kearns responded.

Naruto and Kearns smiled and finished serving tea.

"Go get some rest, Naruto, tomorrow is going to be another busy day." Kearns said softly.

"Yes, Mr. Kearns. Good night." Naruto responded emotionally and walked out of the room.

Kearns picked up the tea cup and gently put it back on the coffee table, then walked to the window and stared at Konoha Village in the distance. He felt that some things had not yet been resolved and some knots in his heart had not yet been opened. Taking a deep breath, he decided it was time to deal with them.

He walked out of the house, walked through the quiet Konoha Village, and finally came to a hilltop. This is his favorite place because it has the most perfect view - the entire Ye Village is spread out under his feet, like a warrior who never gives up.

When he reached the top of the mountain, Kearns saw a familiar figure - Kakashi, who was quietly looking at the moon.

"Good evening, Kakashi." Kearns broke the silence softly.

Kakashi turned slowly, glanced at Kearns through his mask and hair, and responded, "Good evening, Kearns."

The two came together and sat down to face this seemingly eternal night.

"You seem to have something on your mind." Kakashi said bluntly.

Kearns smiled, "Old friends do know old friends. Yes, I'm a little worried about Naruto."

Kakashi raised his eyebrows, "Oh?"

"He has a lot of potential and a lot of people to protect. I'm worried that he will be too burdened with too many responsibilities." Kearns said seriously.

Kakashi nodded, "I understand what you mean. But you have to remember that Naruto never fights alone. He has his friends, his mentor, and the entire Konoha Village.

"`"You are right. Kearns responded with a smile.

The two fell into a brief silence again, but this time, they both felt more comfortable.

"So, what are you going to do?" Kakashi asked suddenly.

"I will continue to coach him until I think he is ready for a bigger challenge." Kearns said seriously.

Kakashi smiled, "Sounds like a good plan."

"I hope so." Kearns said calmly, his eyes full of determination and expectation.

The two stood up and looked towards Konoha Village in the distance.

"Okay, I should go back." Kearns finally said.

"We'll see you again," Kakashi promised.

"Definitely." Kearns said firmly.

The next morning, Naruto put on his signature orange ninja costume, ate his ramen in a hurry, and rushed to the gate of Konoha Village. .
