After dealing with Huang Wei, he rushed back to the hospital. Fortunately, Bai Weiwei was not in any life-threatening danger, just injured with excessive blood loss.

"That's good." Lin Fan nodded, took the porridge from Qin Si Xuan's hand, and sat down in front of Bai Weiwei.

Looking at her pale face, it was impossible for Lin Fan not to feel guilty. After all, that stab was meant for him. If anything happened to Bai Weiwei because of him, Lin Fan would never forgive himself.

"You two chat for a while, it's getting late, I'll head back first," Qin Si Xuan said with a smile.

"Thank you, Sixuan," Bai Weiwei said gratefully.

"No need to thank me; we're good sisters. Have a good rest tonight, and I'll come to see you again tomorrow." Qin Si Xuan flashed a wonderful smile, put on her sunglasses, and then turned and left the ward.

However, the moment Qin Si Xuan put on her sunglasses, Lin Fan clearly noticed that she gave him a wink!

"You rest well; I'm going to see Sixuan off." Lin Fan smiled, then followed her out of the ward.

As expected, Qin Si Xuan didn't leave immediately. She pouted when she saw Lin Fan, snorted, and walked towards the stairwell instead of taking the elevator.

"You're still laughing? What's so funny?" Qin Si Xuan said angrily.

"Alright, wife, don't be mad. I know I was wrong," Lin Fan admitted with a laugh, reaching out to hug Qin Si Xuan.

But Qin Si Xuan dodged away, defiantly trying to avoid Lin Fan's arm.

Lin Fan quickly took a big step; with his reflexes, there was no way Qin Si Xuan could outmatch him. She only felt her waist being wrapped by a strong arm, and in a fluster, she fell into Lin Fan's embrace.

Qin Si Xuan panicked and said, "Lin Fan, don't mess around. This is a public place."

Lin Fan smiled, "Are you still mad?"

"Hmph! Making me take care of your other woman, if I'm not mad that would be strange!" Qin Si Xuan said indignantly!

"Looks like if your husband doesn't enforce some family rules, it won't do!" Lin Fan laughed, somewhat angrily.

As he said this, Lin Fan immediately released Qin Si Xuan's delicate hand and started to misbehave.

"Lin Fan, don't mess around, I... I..." Qin Si Xuan stammered in a panic.

Lin Fan chuckled at her reaction. Even though he was cheeky, he knew his limits.

Retracting his hand, Lin Fan lifted Qin Si Xuan's sharp chin, kissed her red lips, and said with a laugh, "Wife, still mad?"

"Hmph! I'll let you go this time." Qin Si Xuan said stubbornly, then, collecting herself, asked, "How did Weiwei get hurt? What exactly happened?"

"Because of me," Lin Fan replied with a self-deprecating smile.

"What happened exactly? Are you hurt?" Qin Si Xuan asked, immediately checking Lin Fan over.

"Don't worry, your husband is invincible. There's no way I could get hurt. Those enemies are lucky if they can leave unscathed," Lin Fan said, smiling nonchalantly.

"Hmph! You're just bragging. Quickly, tell me what actually happened?" Qin Si Xuan asked sternly, like a strict little wife.

"Oh, what is this about? Not even married yet and already trying to control your husband," Lin Fan teased with a smile.

"Lin Fan, stop joking. I'm serious," Qin Si Xuan said earnestly.

"Alright then!"

Lin Fan shrugged and then recounted the series of events, including revealing the mastermind behind the scandal incident to Qin Si Xuan!

Sure enough, upon hearing this, Qin Si Xuan's face immediately showed anger, "That Huang Wei actually dared to frame me. Tell me where he is and I'll go settle the score with him."

"No need, he's already gotten what he deserved," Lin Fan said.

"You... you didn't kill him, did you?" Qin Si Xuan asked in shock.

Qin Si Xuan showed a happy smile, glanced at her globally limited edition diamond watch, and said, "It's getting late; I'll head back first. You go keep Weiwei company."

"Sorry, wife, I can't accompany you tonight," Lin Fan feigned regret.

"Hmph! Who's asking you to accompany me? Just make sure you save your energy. I'll deal with you tomorrow night," Qin Si Xuan said proudly, pouting.

Then, this girl stood on tiptoe and gave Lin Fan's lips a quick peck with a "mwah" sound, then turned and walked out of the stairwell with a face full of sweetness, like a cheerful little swallow.

Lin Fan touched his lips and then brought his hand to his nose to inhale its lingering fragrance.

Lin Fan grinned and said, "Didn't expect this girl to be so good at teasing. Looks like tomorrow night will be another intense battle!"
