Chapter 376: Gold Death God? Invitation from the Gods (Part 2)
Under his father's gaze, Terramus stated his thoughts,
"Rewards must not be stingy, even if it's just for reporting. We must change mortal families' living conditions in a short time, elevate their quality of life, and let those around them see the benefits.
In this way, even if we do nothing, the Flame Sun Church might not have a foothold on this land."
"It's not that simple, but it does indeed have high feasibility. We can give it a try."
Noah couldn't help but smile. These suggestions are something anyone could think of with some careful thought. The key is whether someone in Terramus's position will notice them.
The suggestions he made are clearly based on practical experience, meaning as a pure-blooded Golden Dragon, he personally went down and checked things out, otherwise he wouldn't have been able to propose such solutions.
Otherwise, he'd be like that firstborn Holy Dragon son, who always talks about gods, which sounds nice but lacks a sense of solidity.
"Like your brother, since you proposed these suggestions, you will be responsible for executing them."
"That's quite troublesome."
Terramus's brow furrowed even deeper.
"Precisely because it's troublesome, as my offspring, you must bravely take on the responsibility."
"What about you, Father?"
Terramus couldn't help but ask.
"I naturally have more important things to do."
Noah waved his dragon claw, tossing his son who attempted to find balance with him outside. He then turned his gaze beyond his temporary palace,
"Listening in for so long, how do you feel?"
"Very envious, your two children are very outstanding, which reminds me of my own useless children who only cause trouble."
A white-haired, ordinary-looking man appeared at the doorway, his aura exceedingly subtle, almost non-existent, blending with the air. Had it not been for visible sight, he might easily be overlooked.
"Though I don't mind discussing children with you as a father, shouldn't you report your name and background first?"
Noah squinted his dragon eyes, observing this unexpected guest, an incarnate of the Divine.
However, this was the weakest Divine incarnate he'd ever seen, like a shadow, ready to disappear into the air at any moment.
Evidently, the other party was not confident about meeting him, so simply sent forth a weak incarnation capable only of maintaining existence and thought, not distressed even if destroyed.
"I don't think my identity affects our discussion."
"If not willing to state, then leave. I have no interest in conversing with a sneaky fellow."
Noah said impatiently, making the man's face stiffen. Despite many preparations, he did not expect such treatment. He hadn't concealed his divine nature.
"Truly an arrogant dragon. Although you're not the first Ancestor Dragon I've seen, you are the most arrogant."
"When meeting my kin, do you behave likewise?"
Noah sneered at being called arrogant by a Divine.
"Certainly not; they aren't as dangerous as you."
"Ha! I'll take that as a compliment. Anyway, how soon do you intend to leave, or should I assist you?"
"Aren't you curious about what I wish to discuss with you? It's sure to pique your interest."
The man said helplessly, his tone filled with confidence.
"Not interested."
"Even if it's related to the Lord of Flame Sun, you're uninterested?"
"Speak."
"I know every plane coordinate where the Lord of Flame Sun descended and spread his faith."
"That's all?"
Noah exhaled a stream of fire, his face full of disdain.
Though Iliad is, in a sense, a precise prophet, Flame Sun Sovereign's divine enemies are eager to provide all his religious coordinates without needing to visit; they deliver willingly.
But Noah wasn't swayed, knowing their ulterior motives were too blatant, aiming to manipulate him as a weapon.
Destroying enough faith in the Material Realm would eventually shake the external Divine Country, and when a medium divine power weakens, everything he possesses becomes a feast in the eyes of other Divines.
"Weren't you seeking revenge against Flame Sun Sovereign? Was the information I heard incorrect? Do you intend to cease the war?"
"Certainly not. This war of vengeance will continue, but I'm not willing to let you benefit freely."
Noah snorted coldly. If coveted coordinates were voluntarily sent by Divines, it seemed fortuitous, but nothing's truly free, especially advantages from high-level beings like Divines.
"…"
The unremarkable-looking man, blending unnoticed in a crowd and forgotten even when seen, fell silent for a moment before speaking,
"What do you want?"
"What does a Divine have?"
Noah grinned, opening his dragon mouth wide.
"Divinity, Divine Fire, Divine Position, Divine Status, Divine Power. Divine Position is most desired by you all, so I won't compete for it, but for divinity and divine status, I want half."
"Weren't you claiming not to seek divine enthronement? What do you want divinity and divine status for?"
The man's face slightly changed.
"I indeed don't seek enthronement, but haven't you seen my offspring? Don't you think they can ascend as Dragon Gods? I reckon they'll be excellent Dragon Gods in the future."
"You don't plan to enthrone yourself, but are planning for your children. What exactly do you want?"
The man's eyes revealed a probing look.
"I wish to walk the Dragon King Road, that's all."
Noah stated straightforwardly.
"Dragon King? That's not easily accomplished. Including you, I've seen five Ancestor Dragons, yet not a single Dragon King."
"Not seeing a Dragon King, should I interpret that as your experience being too limited? So, you're a New God?"
"No, I've seen many Dragon Gods, including your Metallic Dragon Race's revered Master of the North Wind, whom I once visited. But those are Dragon Gods, not Dragon Kings."
"Oh, I see."
Noah nodded, then returned to the main topic,
"So, are you willing to give what I demand?"
"It's not that we aren't willing, but you're asking for too much. What makes you think you qualify for half of the divinity and divine status?"
"Because I will destroy all of Heliers's faith foundation. Just asking for half—I consider myself generous already."
"If I refuse, will you abandon the attack?"
"Certainly not, but henceforth, you'll also be my enemy."
"You're threatening me. Do you think I'm alone? Do you know who else supports me?"
A peculiar expression appeared on the man's face.
"Regardless of how many there are, my answer remains the same."
Noah lowered his head,
"No one can seize the Dragon Clan's spoils. What belongs to me, no one shall take away!"
"Half of a medium divine power's divine status and divinity. If all conditions are right, it can instantly create a weak divine power. Coupled with your racial properties as a Dragon, it's a threat to us. We can't agree."
"If there's no agreement, it means our talks have broken down."
Noah snorted lightly, suddenly exhaling a golden dragon flame, engulfing the man attempting to speak with an uplifted palm.
"You're too rash, Noah. We can't give you Heliers's divine status and divinity, but can other Divines' divinity and status serve as your reward?"
