Chapter 341: Alexander's Perfect Proposal
"What nonsense are you talking about?"
Noah couldn't help but say after hearing what this guy in front of him had said,
"The root of this matter isn't with you; you're also a victim in this. Instead, it was me who overlooked you."
Upon receiving the reminder from his foster mother, Noah thought of his grandnephew Wayne first. However, the one actually most directly affected should have been Casius' son Tidel.
But because Noah had sealed him for too long, he subconsciously overlooked him until something went wrong and he realized something was amiss.
Of course, even if Noah had noticed the problem earlier, there wasn't much he could have done, at most, adding a few more layers of sealing to prevent that guy just now from causing trouble.
"Did something happen to my father?"
Compared to Wayne, Tidel immediately locked onto the source of the abnormality within himself. Although it was phrased as a question, his expression was quite certain, even appearing somewhat calm.
"There was a small issue!"
Even given the situation at hand, Noah still downplayed the issue.
"Looks like I can't be of any help."
Seeing Noah's tone, Tidel nodded instead and didn't ask more,
"In that case, seal me. I don't want to cause trouble."
"Alright."
Noah wasn't a hesitant dragon and agreed immediately.
Although this awakening of Tidel wasn't a good thing, it wasn't entirely bad either.
Because after the interference by the will of Hell, the major problem of Tidel's severe vitality drain and near expiration had disappeared. Currently, Tidel's vitality is so abundant that he could contend with Noah for a while without faltering, clearly indicating the change.
To beings at the pinnacle of the Material World, in the end, what matters the most is vitality, or rather the property of being undead. As long as the vitality is abundant and robust enough to prevent death, even divine beings have no better solution but to choose sealing.
For beings of this level, the ability to fight isn't the most important; what's crucial is having tough, resilient skin that can withstand and recover, making sure the health bar is long and thick enough to outlast strong beings like Tidel with insufficient vitality.
Of course, that was the old Tidel. The current Ted doesn't have this problem anymore; the defect caused by using the crystallization of his father's bloodline to ascend has been fixed.
Though the old problem has been remedied, new issues have arisen, and Noah currently has no good solutions, so he could only choose to seal once more.
With Tidel's voluntary cooperation, Noah used the Time-Space Amber to seal Tidel again. However, unlike before, Noah engraved runes on the Time-Space Amber.
In other words, Tidel is now enjoying the same treatment as the skull of the Immortal King; this can solidify his current state and only release him when Noah has the capacity to handle it.
When Noah brought the massive amber back to the Material Realm, as could be expected, but unexpectedly, he saw a group of old dragons at the mountaintop, and at the foot of the mountain, he caught sight of several aged paladins wandering, still bearing a presence that even Noah found threatening.
Eternal level armaments?
Noah's eyes showed a thoughtful look, but just as his gaze swept over, the moment he noticed Noah's return, the older paladins who hadn't seen the menacing Dark Titan yet exchanged smiles and turned to leave without waiting for Noah to say anything.
Compared with these reserved paladins, it was the old dragons who came straight to Noah's palace and who were not so polite. Although Noah was unharmed, inviting dragons was easy, but sending them off was difficult.
Nevertheless, these elder dragons came voluntarily. Considering they came on their own accord when the situation was still unclear, Noah hosted them for a few days amidst the ruins, eventually successfully seeing them off.
But Noah didn't lose out, as he took this opportunity to learn about and meet a group of powerful Ancient Dragons hidden within his territory, including some elder dragons he couldn't see through.
Even so, Noah had no intention of probing deeper because, through this incident, he could now fully confirm that this group of elder dragons held goodwill towards him. Some of these elder dragons even hoped more than he did for his reign to continue, and for the order he established to keep expanding.
This group of old dragons, who usually have little presence but will step in to help in crucial moments, forms part of the foundation of his rule, also a reward for his long-standing efforts to build and maintain an ideal land.
This is what Dragon Heart desires. And the feeling of being recognized made Noah's mood, which had been gloomy because of his foster father's accident, considerably brighter.
If spoken of, it's not something unsolvable, the matters in Hell are beyond his control, but within the Material Realm, even if the entire Augustus family is compromised, so what? At worst, just suppress them all, seal everything into the Time-Space Amber, and leave it for his future self to handle.
Thinking of this, Noah's mood lifted a bit more. However, handling the current Augustus family was indeed quite an energy-draining and troublesome matter.
Because the members of the Augustus family only have a probability of being tainted by Hell, and they haven't entirely fallen, consequently, until there's a real problem, Noah can't seal them just like that. While that saves trouble, there's no justification for it, no moral ground.
