Golden Dragon: Six Thousand Years of Empire

Chapter 311: What? You Don't Agree?

"Call a goblin a teacher?"

Hearing such a request, even Terramus couldn't help but feel taken aback.

It's not uncommon for the Longevity Species to seek out the Short-lived Species as teachers, especially when the latter is highly skilled and powerful. This not only does not diminish the prestige of their bloodline, but also adds some honor.

His elder brother is a typical example. As the offspring of the Ancestral Golden Dragon and the Six-winged Seraph, he sought a Paladin as his teacher.

Although this teacher was somewhat lacking in strength, his character and morality somewhat compensated for that shortcoming. Therefore, no one had any objections to it, after all, he was a Paladin.

But what are these goblins in front of him? There's no need to mention their strength; judging by the way these goblins behave loudly, in reality, none of them can really fight. As for morality, honestly, a group of green-skinned goblins, what kind of morality could they have?

Let a group of green-skins be his teachers? What a joke? He's a Golden Dragon, even though he's a Golden Dragon who studied Death Magic, it still couldn't be too absurd.

"Yes, that is the requirement from Your Majesty, no matter whom you wish to learn knowledge from, you should address them as a teacher."

The Dragon Fairy responsible for leading Terramus answered.

"If they truly possess the knowledge I need, and they indeed have high skills, I will follow the etiquette and address them properly."

Terramus looked at the goblins working around the steel giant, not immediately rejecting the idea nor arrogantly declaring that he would never recognize goblins as teachers.

Because his curiosity still burned, he was very curious why his father would recruit a group of goblins to serve him.

Because from what he understood, his father would absolutely not like goblins, unless this group of goblins had something remarkably outstanding and irreplaceable.

"What is this giant? An extra-large Magic Statue?"

Terramus descended from the sky to the head of the steel giant, where five goblins were active, arguing with each other over something that looked like an ornamental structure on the giant's head.

However, to the embarrassment of the Holy Dragon's Son, neither his arrival nor his questions attracted the attention of even a single goblin.

Even though the goblins before him were within arm's reach, not one of them looked at him. They were engrossed in their world, arguing with their companions, speaking a language he understood but completely couldn't grasp its specific meaning.

"This is the offspring of Holy Dragon Noah, Lord Terramus. You shall now answer His Highness's questions."

The Dragon Fairy descended, and with it fell an imposing Dragon Power that instantly terminated the goblins' argument, forcing them to turn their attention to others present.

"Lord Terramus? If you are indeed the offspring of that Holy Dragon Emperor, why ask such a foolish question? Does any of this look like a Magic Statue to you just because it's metal?"

Even with the deterrence of Dragon Power, the first goblin to speak showed no politeness.

"Indeed, not even recognizing a Giant God Weapon and coming here to waste our time? This is not a playground, and we are not nannies to play with children."

The second goblin engineer followed up, expressing dissatisfaction.

"If you're looking for amusement, go find someone else. We really don't have time."

The brazen words of the goblins stunned Terramus.

He found it hard to believe that goblins could be so utterly disrespectful of a Golden Dragon. Although he was still young, his size was not small at all.

With a body length of seventeen meters, just a flick of his tail could turn these goblins into pulp, yet not one of them showed any fear or awe, instead attempting to drive him away.

This was enough to show how well these beings were cared for under his father's management. They must have encountered dragons even stronger or more terrifying than himself, allowing them to act so brazenly.

"Lord Terramus is here to study, not to play."

"Study? Study what?"

The goblin, who seemed just enough to fit in Terramus' teeth gap, looked up and down at the Young Golden Dragon, his eyes showing a scrutinizing gaze,

"Most of the weapons and armaments we produce are not suitable for a noble Dragon Clan like you, and for the few that might be, with our current level, even if produced, you probably wouldn't take them seriously."

"This Giant God Weapon is made by you?"

Seeing the steel giant alone wouldn't clue in Terramus, but upon hearing the term Giant God Weapon, it immediately triggered some knowledge within his bloodline.

"Of course we made it. Maybe you don't believe it, but this is indeed the masterpiece of us goblins."

The five goblins unconsciously straightened their backs, making their figures seem less hunched.

"Then can it move?"

Terramus asked with some anticipation. If this group of goblins possessed the technology to create a Giant God Weapon, he would be more than willing to acknowledge their status as teachers, as long as he could learn the relevant crafting techniques.

"It is not yet complete, so it cannot move."

Hearing Terramus' question, the goblin engineers' originally proud expressions immediately turned crestfallen, their glances becoming evasive, though they still attempted to make excuses.
