Golden Dragon: Six Thousand Years of Empire

Chapter 307: Stay right here, do not move

Seeing the Legendary Great Mage hugging and kissing his wife, Angelis had a very strange expression on his face, a mix of conflict and helplessness, wanting to resist but wary, wanting to complain but worried about appearing narrow-minded.

"Aunt, watch your image."

Noah reminded his foster mother as he saw his father like this.

"What image? It's not like you don't know, and there's no other dragon here, what's there to mind?"

Selena was carefree and bold, with a demeanor of confidence and generosity, lacking the dignity and majesty befitting a Legendary Mage.

"Noah is still here!"

Orsya also nudged Selena, her face showing a mix of helplessness and pleasant surprise.

She was delighted by her close friend's formidable power but helplessly realized she had no way to resist.

"Oh, Noah? It's nothing, I've been holding this kid since he was little, though he's grown too big to be as fun. My Orsya is still the prettiest."

"I'm going to check on Terramus; if it's suitable, I'll bring him back."

Noah saw his foster mother arrive just in time to save him from a predicament, feeling grateful while also planning to bring his youngest back.

First, handle these elderly parents worried about their descendants, then arrange for the subsequent training separately.

Speaking of Ilya, though young in age, due to his ancestral dragon bloodline, he might not have outgrown the juvenile dragon phase.

So young, yet able to rule a country. Such treatment, even among the Metallic Dragon Race, is not considered bad and would be envied by many dragons. Though his mother might not find him pleasing, his dragon father, Angelis, was quite satisfied.

But the youngest, Terramus, was entirely different. Seeing the trials he underwent, any Metal Dragon would be outraged.

Noah guessed this might be why his foster mother suddenly appeared, after all, it was originally her bad idea, which Noah thought was great and thus executed.

"Go on!"

Selena waved her hand, and Noah didn't wait for his mother's words before directly disappearing from the palace.

Noah headed straight to the Northern Icefield, arriving at the entrance of the Great Graveyard, and then notified his great-nephew,

"Open the door for me."

"?"

"I'm outside the Great Graveyard."

"..."

Not long after, wearing just a black robe, Wayne saw a Golden Dragon more than a meter long. Noah was too lazy to use the Transformation Technique, merely shrinking his body a hundredfold, finding it more convenient and aligning with his usual preferences.

"Great-uncle, why are you here?"

Wayne, the Demon King, was evidently uncomfortable with Noah's sudden visit, even though he tried to hide it, Noah could sense the little guy's reluctance. He didn't want to see Noah.

But it made sense. He was the absolute ruler in the Northern Icefield, the king of millions of undead. In this realm, his will was absolute, but Noah's arrival placed him beneath one dragon. No wonder he wasn't thrilled.

"I'm here to see how my son is doing. If he's performing well, maybe let him relax for a bit. He can't always be in such a high-pressure environment."

"His current state might surprise you; you'd better be prepared."

"Hmm? Seems like you've got a surprise for me."

Noah grinned, his mouth widening into a smile.

"No, your child is just too exceptional; his talent can't be hidden."

"You've matured a lot from back then."

Hearing such flattering words, Noah looked at the young man in the black robe brimming with dignity and couldn't help but remark,

"In that case, take me down to see."

With that, Noah didn't wait for his great-nephew to refuse, leaping forward and coiling on the Demon King's head, using him as a mount.

Wayne felt a slight weight on his head, his mouth twitching subtly but saying nothing.

The power and rank spoke for themselves; it was futile to resist and would only embarrass himself further, especially at the doorstep of his lair.

If they fought, he'd be the one shamed in the end. So, he might as well treat this Ancestor Dragon as a living dragon-shaped crown; thinking this way, he felt much better.

How many beings in this world can wear an Ancestor Dragon on their head?

In today's world, only he could.

With the Demon King's personal escort, Noah's entry into the Great Graveyard was smoother than last time, and he soon arrived at the level where Terramus resided.

Though nominally a prisoner caught by the Demon King, the dwelling of the Holy Dragon's Son in the Great Graveyard was quite luxurious.

Even Noah couldn't find a fault because the standards Wayne set, even for an adult dragon, were impeccable, except that it was a bit gloomy, slightly unsuitable for living beings.

"I'll go in and check personally; no need for you to accompany me!"

Feeling his child's presence, Noah signaled his mount to leave and mind his own business.

"If you need anything, just contact me directly; as long as it's within my ability, I'll do my best to satisfy it."

"Mm-hmm!"
