Going For The Dream

Chapter 42: Chapter Forty-One

"Killian." I heard from the other side of the room. I pulled back from Henrie and looked toward the voice. I saw Kiela walking towards me.

I tilted my head. She didn't normally talk to me but since my talk with Dad and getting the pack turned over to me and my mates she has been acting nicer. She has been leaving little gifts in my room.

"Hi Kiela. What could I do for you?" I asked her once she stopped in front of me.

Suddenly she threw her arms around me, making me tense up. "Uh, Kiela?"

She slowly withdrew. She couldn't even look me in my eyes. She looked to the side. "Sorry, big bro. I've been wanting to do that for a while."

My lips slowly spread into a smile. "It's ok, Kiela. I'm only your big brother by like five minutes." I brought her into a hug. "I missed you." I whispered into her ear.

Kiela nuzzled into my neck as she gripped onto my shirt. "I missed you also. Now that you have control of the pack like you're supposed to I'll help you along the way like I was meant to."

I pulled back. "Meant to?"

Kiela nodded. "Yup. I'm your third in command. I was given the position when we were young. Even before we presented. We all knew you would be in the highest position. Either as Alpha or Luna. Henrie would be your Beta and I'm your Gamma."

My smile grew. I'm so glad I have her by me. I really missed my twin. I threw my arms around her shoulders and squeezed tight. "Thanks sis. I really missed you." I felt a tear slide down my cheek.

Suddenly a growl was heard. I pulled away from Kiela and glanced behind her. Raiven and Aiden stood there. They weren't happy.

"What are you guys doing here? You should be waiting in the gym." I said while walking up to them. I grabbed their hands once I was in front of them.

"We felt your emotions. We got worried." Aiden answered me as he squeezed my hand.

I looked up at their faces. "I'm ok. I was just upset at the Jack situation. Henrie calmed me down and encouraged me." I looked back at Henrie. He slightly bowed his head. I looked back at Raiven and Aiden. They were looking at Henrie. Their gaze softened.

They looked back down at me. "What about the last part?" Raiven asked.

I looked over at Kiela. "I got my twin back." I said smiling. She smiled back at me.

Raiven pulled me into his chest. "Good. We're glad you're ok."

I laid my cheek on his chest. "Hmm. I'm better than ok."

He rubbed my back. "Good. we should get back before you get in trouble." He leaned down enough to kiss me on my cheek. Aiden kissed the other.

I gazed up at them when they pulled back. "Thanks for coming to check up on me. I'll see you after."

They walked out of the room and went back to the gym. It was almost time. Just a little bit more. The rest of the time we were waiting I sat with Henrie and Kiela and talked.

After a while my homeroom teacher Mr. Holden walked in and looked around. "Line up everyone. It's time to go to the gym."

Everyone stood up and put on their gowns. We all lined up alphabetically. Since my last name is Borg I was toward the beginning. Kiela was in front of me. I glanced down the line and saw Henrie and Charly. They both smiled at me encouragingly. They knew how I hated being the center of attention even though I tended to always be in the center because I always got in trouble. Also because of my family.

We all marched down the center of the gym until we reached the chairs under the makeshift stage the staff built. We sat down in our seats.

The principal walked up to the mic. "Thank you for joining us here today. We are here to celebrate this year's seniors graduating. Now let me introduce the valedictorian up here. Killian Borg."

I stood up and walked up to stand next to Mr. West. We shook hands before he walked off the stage. I turned to the mic and looked out at my fellow students. I glanced around the gym towards all the families sitting in the stands. My eyes landed on my family. My parents and big and little sisters. My mates were smiling at me.

My eyes then found Henrie and Charly. I relaxed. I closed my eyes for a second and took a deep breath. I opened my eyes and looked around once more.

"Good evening. Thanks for coming to our graduation. Today we are celebrating our twelve years of blood, tears and labor. Thanks to our lovely team of teachers and staff we all got through the grueling trails thrown at us over the years." I glanced over at the teachers. I knew they weren't really happy with me since I was the troublemaker.

"Before I continue I'm going to answer the unspoken questions you all have right now. Yes, I am an omega. Yes, I am from the influential family that owns SilverFang. I am their second born and only son." I glanced over at my parents. "Even though I'm an omega my family still accepts me. I would do anything for them." I then looked over at my mates. "I have two very powerful mates that would do anything for me."

I looked over at Mr. West. "I know I was the troublemaker in the school. I would like to apologize for that. I didn't know how to channel my feelings at the time." He nodded at me. He understood. Always has.

I looked back to my fellow seniors. "Today we are graduating. We will be going into the world after this. Would you be going to college or working? Whichever you decide I know you are well prepared thanks to everything you have learned here." I looked around at my fellow seniors. "I know a lot of you were afraid of me because of either my family or my own actions. I'm sorry. I had to act tougher than I really was since my parents were trying to protect me by having me take medicine that made it seem like I was an alpha. I didn't want anyone finding out before it was time."

I looked over at my mates again and smiled. "After I met my first mate I stopped taking the medicine and I'm sure most of you realized it." I glanced back down at the students sitting below me. "I started acting like me. No more hiding."

I shrugged. "No more apologizing and explanations. Today isn't about me. It is about all of the graduating class. We had our ups and downs. Even near breakdowns. We got through it together."

I gripped the front of my gown. "Some of us have some more years to learn at college or even university. Some are going straight into work. Whichever one you are doing I know you will take full advantage of it." I smiled. "With that I would like to say thanks for going through these years with me. Congrats on getting through it and graduating today." I stood back from the mic and bowed. I walked off the stage and went to my seat.

Once I was sitting Mr. West walked up to the mic. "Thanks for that Killian. Now let's call the students up to get their diplomas." He called everyone before me up. They walked up and got their diplomas and shook hands with Mr. West. Afterwards, they went back to their seats. "Killian Borg." I stood up and walked up the stage again. This time I took my diploma and shook hands with Mr. West. When I went back to my seat Mr. West continued calling the rest of the students.

"That ends that. Now let me congratulate you again. You are now adults. Please place the tassel on the other side."

We moved the tassel over. It's over. We are now graduated. "Yeah!" The whole class yelled and threw the caps into the air. Afterwards we moved out to the parking lot to meet our families.

Once I walked out the doors I looked around for my mates. Once my eyes landed on them I ran over to them. I jumped into Aiden's arms. He wrapped his arms around my waist. He kissed the top of my head. "Congrats sweetheart."

Raiven stepped behind me and wrapped his arms around my shoulders and kissed the top of my head. "Yes. Congrats Lil bit."

I smiled up at them. "Thanks."
